Alisha's eyes fluttered open in confusion. She found herself hanging upside down over the shoulder of a large wolf. Her hands had been cuffed together behind her back, stretching her shoulders awkwardly and preventing her from moving Her abdomen pounded onto the wolf's shoulder, with every step he took. Her mouth had been taped shut to prevent her from screaming out loud
She smelt the wolfsbane in her system which was preventing her from shifting into her wolf. She tried to call on Heera, but she didn't get a response.
"Where am I? Heera, can you hear me? Please talk to me! I am trying to mindlink Markian and Mitchell but I just can't seem to push through enough to link to them" Alisha thought in frustration.'Why am I not able to link with my mates...Heera!Please!Don't leave me all alone here" Alisha started hyperventilating, as she couldn't understand what was happening.
"She is up boss! I can smell the fear coming through her pores. Don't worry little wolf. I won't hurt you...Well!Not too much, that is!"Said the wolf who was carrying her, while he patted her buttocks with his massive left hand. Alisha stiffened in disgust at the unwanted touch.
"Will you please let me play with her afterwards, boss?"A loud shrill voice boomed out of the wolf.
"Will you please shut up, Nathan! I can't stand your voice. I have always wondered why the Alpha kept you around?" replied a voice in front of him savagely. She recognised the voice as one of the men she argued with, in the mall today. She scrunched her eyebrows up trying to remember what he looked like."Sean! Yes, that was it! His name was Sean...He was the one that killed mum and dad! He ran us off the road for Alpha Thomas" Alisha gasped as the memory of what had happened flooded her.
"I am sorry boss. Please don't tell the Alpha. I will be good! I promise!" he squeaked out. Alisha was surprised at the violence in Sean's reply as well as the quick submission of the wolf who was carrying her.
Alisha grew more worried as she was carried deeper and deeper into a tunnel. She realised that she was being carried through a wooden door mouldy and pitted, scarred by ravages of nature. It squeaked in protest as the large man carrying Alisha pushed it forcefully to get through. Alisha felt nauseous at the sweet putrid smell wafting from the bowels of the tunnel. She felt the cloying smell of decay enter her nostrils. She retched as her stomach rolled in disgust, knowing that this place was where they had tortured humans and wolves alike.
" Put her inside! Make sure you handcuff her properly. If she escapes, I will make sure that you take her place" sneered Sean. His voice booming as it was refracted on the walls of the narrow tunnels. Alisha felt herself being carried into a small room. The lighted torches outside the room caused shadows to dance on the face of her captors. The room itself was small, dark and damp and she shivered in her thin shirt that she had on.
She was unceremoniously thrown onto the small projection off the wall that served as a bed. Nothing covered the cold slab of cement except for a thin worn-out piece of cloth placed at the foot end of the bed. She gasped as the cold surface chilled her back creeping its tentacles through her clothes into her body reaching deep into her bones. She turned, trying to stand up but found that her legs couldn't support her weight. She fell to the hard floor landing on the scattered pieces of broken cement shards which were lying on the dirty floor. She grimaced at the pain that shot up through her body as her left knee landed on a sharp edge that pierced through the material of her jeans. She could feel the trail of blood winding down the front of her leg and seeping through her pink socks.
She pushed herself up using her legs as her hands were still handcuffed behind her back. Her back stiffened as she felt a pair of hands rubbing its way across her back to reach the handcuffs that were holding her arms in place." I am going to enjoy playing with you, my pet" said Nathan, the large wolf who had carried her through the tunnels. He uncuffed her hands and pushed her back onto the cemented bed, her knees hitting the edge of the projection and buckling as she fell backwards again. She grimaced as she felt her back skid on the granular particles on the cement slab. The force of the push was great enough to cause her to hit the back of her head on the cement slab with a loud thump. She groaned as the pain shot through her occipital bone and centred between her eyebrows.
She closed her eyes as a nauseous wave suddenly rose from clenched of her stomach to reach up to her throat, leaving a bitter taste in her mouth. Nathan bent over and ripped off the tape that was covering her mouth. Alisha hissed as the tape tore at the skin of her sensitive lips. Her tongue slid over the her lip tasting the metallic taste of her blood
"If u scream, I will come for you...You won't like it though" grinned the large wolf while he salaciously licked his lips. Alisha grimaced in disgust as realised what he meant. She grasped the edges of the cement block as the Nathan pulled her leg up towards him. She heard the clanging of a metal chain being dragged as she realised that Nathan had handcuffed her ankle to the long chain that ran across the floor.
Alisha hissed at the pain that shot through her ankle as the links of the chain fell onto her leg while the clasp was fitted into place."The chain is made of silver. What sort of demented wolf, would knowingly, put another wolf in silver chains? They know that silver burns wolves, don't they?"Alisha thought to herself as she gingerly lifted her foot to the cement bed hoping that the chain wouldn't touch her. She looked closely at the cuff that was clasped tightly to her ankle, hoping to find a way to slip the cuff off her foot. Alisha tried pulling her foot away but the silver chain always ended up coiling closer and closer to her thighs. She realised that the length of the chain was just long enough to let her walk around the bed, and no further.
Nathan sniggered as he turned and walked out of the small room."Now don't think of escaping, my pet... No one ever successfully gets away from here. I have been working here for the last seven years and nobody escapes the Alpha torture dungeon. You better be nice to me or else...You don't want to get me angry, do you, darlin'? Oh yes! I hope they let you eat lunch before they caught you as you have missed lunch today. I will come back with something for lunch tomorrow. Bye!My pet! You be good now or Uncle Nathan will have to come down and teach you manners...You won't like how Uncle Nathan teaches you manners, I promise. " said Nathan laughing as he turned and walked away. The door protested loudly as he forcefully banged it shut.
Alisha turned around to look at the room that was her prison. It had only one way in, through the door, and no windows. The flickering torches outside the room produced the only light which allowed Alisha to see what was around her. There was no way of knowing how much time had passed time or even if it was day or night. Alisha gingerly touched the cool surface of the cement slab dragging her fingers across its coarse edge. At the end of the slab, Alisha's hand dropped down to hit a hard surface. Alisha moved in closer to see what it was. She was confused to find a wooden pail attached to the wall. She just couldn't imagine what it was there for. Alisha took a step closer to the pail and peered into it. A revolting stench of long-forgotten faeces permeated into her nostrils. She stared at the pail in horror as it dawned on her as to why the pail was attached to the wall for. She shuddered in disgust and backed away from the corner, her hands tracing the cement block until she got to the very end of it. She looked up to see a twisted chain hanging from the ceiling. The cuffs on the chains looked scuffed with age. She realised that the twisted wolves who had kidnapped her would have used the chains to string up their victims from the ceiling while torturing them.
She shuddered in disgust at the visual she had created."Markian! Mitchell! Please help me! Please co...come get me soon...d...don't leave me here" Alisha cried softly knowing that she had to stay alive so that her mates could rescue her. She scrunched her eyebrows in concentration "Heera! Please! Answer me! Please come back! Oh Goddess! Don't let her be gone forever" she cried as she closed her eyes tightly, praying that she would wake up and this would all just be a bad dream.
Alisha didn't know how much time has elapsed. The darkness distorted her sense of night and day. She didn't even realise that she had curled up into the corner of the cement slab that served as her bed. She raised herself to a sitting position careful not allowing the silver embedded chains to touch her skin. She stiffened as she heard footsteps looming through the corridor. She heard them come to an abrupt halt outside her door. Alisha tried to imagine who was outside the door of her cell. She knew Nathan was there as she recognised his heavy trudges. There were another two sets of footsteps that she was unfamiliar with. A heavy and loud scraping pulled her out of her reverie. She inhaled sharply as a key was pushed into the lock in the door. Her eyes dilating with fear knowing by instinct that she was not going to like her visitors. The door flung outwards hitting the wall behind it. She saw Nathan quickly entered and pushed a torch into the receptacle in the wall. Alisha frowned and stared at the torch. She hadn't noticed the dip in the wall when Nathan was here before. Alisha slowly turned her head to see who else had followed Nathan into her cell.
As her eyes acclimated to the additional light, she saw Sean stand just in front of the door. There was another man in front of him. He was taller than her but not as tall as Mitchell and Markian. She stared at the newcomer with enough of curiosity to make Sean growl in anger."Get up, you bitch! You dare remain sitting when my Alpha enters the room?" he roared. His gloved hands pulled viciously at the chain that was attached to Alisha's ankle. She fell backwards as her legs were pulled off the bed. Alisha hissed with pain as her head rammed into the concrete wall behind her. She quickly righted herself, holding her hand up to her head to assess the damage. She didn't feel the stickiness of blood on her fingers but felt a painful lump slowing forming on the back of her head. She breathed a sigh of relief as she straightened up, looking straight into the eyes of the newcomer
"How dare you look at the Alpha?? Lower your eyes! You..you are a disease...an abomination!" screamed Sean who was putting on a show for his Alpha. He kicked Alisha behind the knees forcing her to crumple to the floor.
Alisha winced in pain as her scrapped knees hit the cemented ground with a resounding thud. Her arms extended forward to prevent her face from hitting the floor. To the Alpha, it looked like Alisha was bowing to him and he laughed with glee imagining how he was going to make Alisha beg for mercy
"My, my such subservience! I didn't expect the mate of the all-powerful Starfall twins would be a puny human. That's what those two pussies deserve after they prevented me taking over the River Moon pack last month
!" laughed the Alpha as he placed his foot on Alisha's hand grinding his heel down, cracking her metacarpals under his heavy boot
" Stop! Why are you doing this? What have I ever done to you? Please don't hurt me! " Alisha cried out unable to prevent herself from gasping out in pain as the Alpha started laughing hysterically.
Alpha Thomas bent over and grasped Alisha's hair in his fist. He yanked her hair back and sneered in her face "You! What could you ever do to me? You despicable race of snivelling humans! How dare you come within my sight!" he growled in disdain.
Alisha swallowed her whimper of pain as she realised that Alpha Thomas enjoyed her suffering and would prolong her agony if he could.
She blinked back her tears which threatened to spill over and stared back at Alpha Thomas." My mates will come for me and when they do.....You...you will be sorry" she grounded out through her clenched teeth as she felt her bones grate together as Alpha Thomas reared back in surprise at her sudden brave front. He was not used to women standing up to him. He had always had women bending over backwards to do his bidding that even in a small show of bravery caught him aback
"Sean! Teach this bitch some manners! She dares talk back to me!" ranted Alpha Thomas as he spat on Alisha and left the cell. His footsteps retreating quickly like he couldn't wait to get away from Alisha and his dungeons.
"Yes Alpha!With pleasure!"Sean licked his lips with glee as he stepped forward toward Alisha. He reached down to grasp her neck and pulled her up. Alisha's trashed her legs as her fingers clawed at Sean's hand. Slowly the small blood vessels in her eyes started rupturing as Sean began squeezing his hand closed, preventing Alisha from breathing. Bruises started appearing around Alisha's neck as Sean continued to strangle her.
Alisha struggled knowing that she could not allow herself to die in this dungeon. She had not even said goodbye to her mates. Alisha tried one last-ditch effort to claw Sean's face but couldn't reach it. As she began to lose consciousness, her fingers stopped pulling at Sean's hand. Her legs convulsed weakly kicking Sean over his thighs and hips.
"Oh no, you don't bitch!Do you think I will let you off so quickly?" snarled Sean as he threw Alisha's limp body towards the opposite end of the room. Alisha's head snapped back as her back hit the wall with a loud thump. She felt a sting of pain over her left hip where her body hit the back wall. Alisha gasped as she painfully inhaled much-needed oxygen into her lungs. The blurring of her vision cleared quickly as Sean strode to her crumpled body and pulled her up using her hair. Alisha couldn't stop her cry of pain as she was hauled up to her feet. Her hand holding Sean's fist close to her scalp preventing him from pulling her hair out by the roots.
"I am going to teach you some manners, bitch! Don't you ever talk back to the Alpha again, you hear?"Sean sneered wickedly
Alisha swallowed painfully as Sean strapped a leather cuff to both her wrists and her neck. The silver chains clunked into place as Sean pulled it through the ring attached to the ceiling. Alisha moaned as her arms stretched upwards pulling her body away from the rough floor. Alisha's ankles were pulled mercilessly by the cuffs that were attached to the wall. "Is this comfortable enough? Or do you want me to make you float higher off the ground?" laughed Sean with a maniacal glint in his eye. Alisha knew that this was not the first time Sean had captured and tortured someone like this. Tears trailed from her eyes wetting her cheeks as she cried out"What do you want from me? Why have you kidnapped me? What have I ever done to you"
Sean approached Alisha with loathing in his eyes."You should have died with your parents! I shamed the Alpha by not completing his order the last time. I will not fail him again!"
Alisha blinked with shock. This was the wolf who had killed her parents! This was the fiend who had robbed her of her childhood.
"Why? What did my parents do to deserve what you did to them?" she spluttered with fury. Her hands clenching in fury as her heart cried out at the unfairness of what Alpha Thomas and Sean had done to her family.
"Beta Lawrence betrayed us! He turned his back on the wolf pack ....and for what??? A puny human! The Moon Goddess was wrong! Humans and wolves can never be mates! The offspring of that pair is an abomination! I cannot allow the mighty wolf bloodlines to be bastardized"Sean spat out as he swiped a whip across Alisha's abdomen and hips
Alisha screamed in pain as she felt the sharp edge of the whip lick the skin of her abdomen and thighs mercilessly. She lost count after a while and thankfully loss consciousness as the blood from the tears in her skin drenched her pants and shoes
Sean's eyes gleamed with menace as he swished the whip again and again until he didn't have the strength to lift his arm.He undid Alisha's cuffs which had held her in place during his torture.She crumpled to the ground in a heap as Sean turned to lock the cell behind him.
