He gently placed her in the carriage. He looked her sensual lips that now had wounds and blood clots. Her beautiful face had so many injury. This was causing his blood to boil. He wanted to kill Johnbones himself. If he never liked her he shouldn't have adopted her. Other than making her suffer like this. He was about to walk out of the carriage when Elixia held his hand.
"Spare him". She she said faintly. Agememnom nestled closer. "What?". He asked. "Spare his life, please Agememnom. Please". She pleaded and her hands fell. His heart jumped.
"Hey, hey, hey. Wake up Elixia. Elixia wake up. Elixia I didn't hear what you were saying so speak to me now. Elixia!". He said. Receiving no reply from her. He ran out.
"My prince we couldn't find the lady". One of the royal guards said. "Where is Run Ni Tama?". He asked the man holding his collar. "He is over there". The man pointed with fear written all over him.
Agememnom left the man and ran to Run Ni Tama. "Run Ni. I.I really need your help". Agememnom was already teary."Hey, what is it?". Run Ni Tama asked as he held his neck. Demvirous stared at Agememnom and Run Ni Tama. "E.Elixia. I don't know. Her hands just fell. A. And she isn't breathing anymore". Agememnom said. "What?". Run Ni Tama said and Demvirous eyes widened. Then they all ran to the carriage.
"Where is she?". Run Ni Tama asked. Agememnom pointed as he couldn't speak up. He was short of words. "You two stay here". Run Ni Tama said. And Agememnom nodded.

Ishita kept on running and looked back to see if anyone was following. She also cried. She left Johnbones all alone there. Though he had men there but she knew the prince well. He alone could finish them off. He would just come there with royal guards to disguise.
She wiped her tears. She didn't even stop to breathe. She was scared to her marrow. As she turned to look back she hit a stump and fell from the cliff into the flowing river. She was a physician. And she was trained to swim, but she struggled.
As she struggles to bring out her head. "Help please!". She shouts. However, she couldn't last long as the water was flowing so fast and it flowed in between rocks. She might have lasted longer, but the flowing water hit her head on a rock and she fell unconscious. Letting the water carry her to whatsoever destination it wish her.

Run Ni Tama comes out of the carriage. "She is only unconscious my prince. We have to head now to the palace, where I can get my equipments". Run Ni Tama informed. "Is she going to be alright?". Agememnom asked with a pitiful eyes. "She is strong. So she will be". Run Ni Tama said and patted Agememnom on his shoulder.
"Okay, let's leave for the palace now everyone". Agememnom said. "Yes sir". They all answered. " Demvirous is the prisoner with you?". Agememnom asked. "Yes my prince". Demvirous answered as he bowed. "Good. Let's leave". "What about the lady? She hasn't been caught". Demvirous informed. "Let her be. Elixia's health is now the most important. So let's leave". He said and entered the carriage to stay with Elixia.
Demvirous and Run Ni Tama looked at eachother then shrugged shoulders. They climbed their horses and galloped fast. The once that drove the carriage drove speedily.
Agememnom looked at Elixia. He didn't like the way she looked. He just wished he could strangle Johnbones to death. His eyes grew teary and he looked away then took a deep breath.
"Please stay strong. Please don't leave me again. Please". He said and stroke her head.

"Alamba maba. Alamba maba". A priest recited his mantra continuously with his head up, like a proud peacock. His followers followed him behind. "Master, master wait". The last follower said as he saw something in the water.
They ran to the water and brought out what they saw. "It is a human, master". The last follower said. The master stared at the body the body in horror. "She is alive". The last man said as he checked her pulse. "Carry her". The master said. "Yes master". His followers chorused.

"She will be staying in my room". Agememnom said as he carried her. "Agememnom who are you". "Mother it is urgent call. We'll talk later". He said as he rushed in with Run Ni Tama. Demvirous looked worried but didn't follow as he would be of no use.
"Captain Demvirous". The queen called. "Greetings my queen". Demvirous greeted as he courtesied. The queen nodded. "Who is with the prince?". The queen asked out her curiousity. "He just took in Elixia". He said and started to leave. "Elixia?". The queen asked thoughtfully. "What?". She said as it dawn on her.
"Captain Dem. He already left. I have so many questions and you all are leaving me unanswered". The queen said and sighed.

" She's asleep now. Please do not disturb her. Make her rest as long as possible. I will take my leave now". Run Ni Tama said and left. Agememnom walked and sat beside Elixia. He gently swept his thumb on her cheek.
"Welcome back son". The king said and that startled Agememnom. He immediately took off his hand. "How long have you been here?". He asked as he looked at his father with sided eyes. "Long enough to know you truly love that lady". The king answered simply.
"Aren't going to have dinner?" The king asked. "No father. I just want to watch her". He said. "Okay suit yourself". His father said and left. Agememnom stared at Elixia. When sleep started to drift in he went and laid on the couch. Then drifted in his sleep.

"My prince, my prince". A maid called. Agememnom opened his eyes slowly. "We need to bathe the lady on your bed. So please step out". The maid said politely. "Is she awake?". He said as he sat up. "No my prince". Agememnom nodded then got up tired and walked out of the room. He took a stroll through the corridor. Upon seeing a guard he remembered Johnbones.
"Where is Johnbones?". He asked as he held the guard by the arm. "He was taken to the dungeon". The guard answered. Then he headed straight there.
"Good morning father-in-law". Agememnom greeted sarcastically. Johnbones hands and legs were chained as he stood. Blood seeped out of his mouth. "You look awful father-in-law. Let me clean it for you". Agememnom said as he took a cloth to clean off the blood on Johnbones lips.
"Now father-in-law tell me something". He said as he dropped the cloth. "Why did you decide to kill Demvirous?". He asked as he stared into the eyes of Johnbones. Johnbones spat then laughed. "Which Demvirous do you seem to asked of". Johnbones asked with a smirk on his lips.
Agememnom shot him one of his smiles. "True. He might be alive today. Thank goodness I came early". "I didn't plan on killing anyone, but he was in my way. He left me with no other choice". Johnbones said. Agememnom nodded and walked round Johnbones with his hand folded behind his back.
"I'm trying to fathom the reason she pleads for your forgiveness". He said then left.
"My prince she requests your presence". A maid said. "Who?". He asked. "Lady Elixia". She answered. He didn't wait any longer to hear any other thing. He ran into the room. He slowly open the door and met with Elixia's gaze. He went to sit beside her. Holding her face. His expression changed to a saddened one.
"Hey, what is it? Why is your face like that?". She asked out her curiousity. He shook his head and stared at her palms. "You requested my presence". He said as he looked back at her. "Yes. I want to see my father". "You call that murderer your father?". Agememnom asked with total disgust as anger welled up in him. "He cloth me. He fed me. He placed a roof over my head. So he has every reason to be considered as my father". She said.
"You can see him but you have to be fast with your time". He said. "Follow me". He stretched out his hand. "What?". "I will take you to your father". He said and she didn't say anything further. She followed him. **
"He is over there". He pointed when they got to the dungeon. She walked in and saw her father bleeding in the mouth. She felt pained in her heart, but she covered it up.
When he noticed someone was in, he looked up. "Elixia". He called. She rose an eyebrow stunned he had the mind to call her name. "Elixia you have to remain strong. Only the strong ones survive in this world". He said and she chuckled. "You should be apologizing instead of saying that". "Would that make any difference now?".
Elixia was overwhelmed with anger. So she left. He wanted to call her back but he didn't even know what to say. **
"At least now I will get to have an informal discussion with her". The king said. And Agememnom nodded. They stopped discussing when Elixia came out in furry.
She courtesied when she caught sight of the king. " Don't worry he will be executed". Her eyes widened at the king's words. She immediately hugged his legs. " No my king. He might have been bad, but please show him mercy. Please your highness". She pleaded.
"I see no other punishment for him". He said. Elixia got up and wiped her tears. "Of course there is your highness". Agememnom's eyebrow lifted and he and the king stared at each other then back at Elixia.
