Chapter 2 - Luck?

The alarm clock sounded.

ah, my hand reached out to turn off the alarm clock.

My mind slowly began to come to its senses, but my body ached with a feeling of wild fatigue.

I got up, got dressed, and made my bed.

Then I went to the bathroom, washed my face, and brushed my teeth.

Today was my big day; it was the day that was going to change my whole destiny.

Today was exam day; I had to get high grades in order to get into one of the best universities.

I sat down in my chair and started to make breakfast, then I washed the dishes and started to put on my school uniform.

I took my bag and went outside (locking the door).

The street, how many times have I passed through here, but these streets haven't stopped being beautiful.

The cars are going so fast, and it makes the wind blow right into my cheeks.

You have to be careful when crossing the road.

* Some time later *

I was already there, our school was visible. School number seven.

It was one of the best schools in Japan.

The school had six floors and more than 600 classrooms.

Upon entering the school, I quickly went up to the 1st floor, to the 2nd floor, and finally to the 3rd floor.

Our class was on the 3rd floor at number 125, as always our classmates stood at the entrance and watched "is the teacher coming?"

One of them said.

Oh, hey, Kang-soon, are you worried too?

she said, and I could tell by her tone that she was very worried.

She was a 17-year-old girl with black hair and blue eyes, a tight skirt and her hair tucked back as usual. She was the class president.

- "Hi, Sheena, I'm really worried too," I decided to reassure my friend. "I want to do well in my exams," I said confidently.

-Wow, you have a good attitude," she smiled.

Oh, and I didn't even get my butt in gear, heh how clumsy that was sorry.

As you may have guessed by now, my name is Kang Sun, I'm 17 years old, my hair is straightened (it was black), black tie, and a clean school uniform.

Dzig-dzig.

The bell sounded, signifying that the teacher was coming soon, a moment later the teacher entered the classroom, he had tests in his hands.

-Children.

-Hello, teacher.

After the greeting, the teacher added

-As you know, today you will be writing tests, unfortunately, I will not be able to help you during the test. I wish you success. And don't forget to write your names! Good luck!

Said the teacher and left the classroom, but a substitute teacher came instead.

The teacher started handing out papers, wondering what the first test would be about?

Don't make yourself wait too long.

"Math.

Ha, the hardest one in the beginning? Okay.

There was silence in the classroom, everyone was focused on the test. The sound of crunching could be heard in the classroom, it was the sound of corondas. Everyone was writing their names, including me.

Before I could read even 1 question, my brain immediately shut down.

~BAAH~

There was an explosion, the right side of the school was destroyed and the rest of the school was on fire, the fire spreading like bacteria.

The classrooms, cafeteria, and gymnasium were on fire.

After a moment, my consciousness was switched on by the intense pain.

I was under the rocks, and as soon as I opened my eyes, I stopped breathing. Or rather, I could not breathe, the iron tube was in my left chest. I could not move, I could not breathe, I was defenseless.

Had I lived 17 years to die so stupidly at such an early age?

My mind slowly began to shut down, out of the corner of my eye I could see my body glowing, I could feel...

** I could feel it... The presence of...

And suddenly the pain was gone, there was a flash, so bright, like it was filled with hope. After that, my mind shut down.
