Three more weeks had passed since Amora and Feldar incidence. Amora was trying to get used to being a mytian, learning their ways and also trying to get her powers out.
"Perhaps the revelation spell would work in revealing your powers" Blossom, Bloom's younger sister who was half witch, half naturite said as she flipped pages of her mother's spell book. Amora and Bloom had approached Blossom to help them do some spells that would bring forth Amora's powers since Amora wasn't showing signs of showing her powers yet.
"No! No more spells. I'm done here" Amora said as she crashed into the flowery chair in the Anemone's garden.
"Come on Mora, just one more spell and I'm sure this would work" Blossom tried to assure her.
Amora shook her head and bluntly said no. "That was what you said five spells ago. You turned me to a guinea pig, then a red squirrel and even smoke. Maybe you'll turn me to an iguana next" Amora fumed.
There was a hooting sound from a bird and Blossom burst into laughter. "What are you laughing at?" Amora asked the yellow haired girl who was still in her round of laughter.
"Oh she's just laughing at what Kena said" Bloom said with a small laugh.
"Who's Kena?" Amora was confused now because it was just three of them in the garden.
"That's Kena over there Mora, she's a Golden Pheasant" Bloom pointed to a flowered cage that held the most beautiful bird Amora had ever seen. The bird had it's bottom and face to be red and white. Rusty tan colors adorned the sides and throat. The beak of the bird had green and yellow colors.
"Wow! She's beautiful" Amora went close to the bird and tried to touch it but it moved away and gave it's bird sound that sent Blossom and Bloom into another round of laughter.
"What did the bird say?" Amora asked.
"She says she doesn't like you" Bloom said as Blossom conversed with the bird in it's language.
"They are gossiping about me now aren't they?" Amora asked. Bloom only gave her a sheepish smile. Amora gathered her things and stormed off angrily.
Bloom went after her friend trying to get her to slow down and listen.
"Come on Mora, don't be upset, I'm sure Kena didn't mean anything bad, she's just a silly bird" Said Bloom as she finally caught up with Amora.
"It's fine Bloom, I'm just kinda sad about not having powers"
"I'm sure you'll find your power soon Mora, just a little more patience and push, you are only a late bloomer"
Amora heaved a deep sigh and succumbed to Bloom's words.
"Fine! I won't think about it for now, I just want to relax" Amora said with a smile.
"Since it's Sávvatriâ tomorrow, why don't we have a night together. We'll stay house Daeva of course and we'll get lots of food and you can teach me some of the other realm's ways" Bloom suggested beaming with smiles.
Amora knew Bloom was speaking of having a sleepover. She only had sleepover with Leslie. Oh Leslie! How she misses her so much.
"It's not a bad idea but I'd have to ask Grandma Daeva for permission"
"She'll definitely say yes!" Bloom said as she drew Amora in and they walked together talking about the boys of the learning halls.
Amora asked Grandma Daeva for permission, the older lady was hesitant at first but agreed on the condition that they wouldn't play with dangerous magic.
Sereia hummed in the kitchen as she made tea and some food for Amora's sleepover when Cascade walked in.
"Can I have some of these mother?" Cascade asked as she pointed at the honey cakes on the beautiful tray.
"Those are for Amora and Bloom. They are having a night together" Sereia said as she continued with her cooking.
"What? A night together? But Grandma said no one would have a night together again when I asked her to have one with Aella and Asita five moons ago" Cascade pouted and whined.
"That's because of what happened last time you three had a night together" Sereia's voice was stern now and Cascade was sulking.
The last time, Cascade and her friends had gotten hold of Grandma Daeva's spell book and had wanted to brew a potion that would make them more beautiful and attractive to their love interests. They had broken into Olette's room and stolen some fairy dust since she was half fairy, and they had also broken into the late Stellan's apothecary to get the other ingredients for the potion. The potion was done wrongly and they ended up getting blisters all over their bodies.
Grandma Daeva had been so upset about going into her dead son's apothecary and had banned Cascade from holding any night together or going to any her friends held.
Sereia dismissed Cascade with a warning to stay away from Amora's night together with Bloom.
"Yes mother" she replied with an eye roll and helped carry the tea tray to Grandma Daeva and saw the lady giving Amora a small sack of gold coins.
"I can't believe everyone is treating her with so much love. She doesn't even have powers" Cascade said to her reflection in the mirror. Yes she was that obsessed with herself.
...............
Amora and Bloom walked round the grand square shopping for makeup and some other fun things for their night together. " I think we should get these silk night dresses" Bloom said to Amora who was looking at some beautiful jewelries the other stall displayed.
"Amora!" Bloom called her attention and Amora answered her absent mindedly. Amora thought she needed to take pictures of the grand square and reached into her pockets to get her phone but couldn't find it. She was confused as she checked her small cross bag ,still not seeing anything.
"My phone, I can't find it! I've been picked " she said to herself as she looked around for anyone looking suspicious. She soon found a male running away from the scene, pocketing something that looked like her phone's pouch and immediately ran after him.
"Amora, I think the purple color is beautiful"Bloom said as she held two purple night dresses. "Amora?" Bloom dropped the dresses and walked further into the grand square, looking for Amora.
Meanwhile, Amora chased after the guy with everything she's got. "Hey! Thief!" She called as she ran after him she wondered why no one joined her in the chase as she shouted.
Amora wasn't looking where she was going and then she bumped into someone and fell to the ground.
"Oh damn! I'm so sorry" she said as she cleaned herself up, not looking up to see who she had bumped into.
"Learn to look ahead rogue" the rich male voice said, sounding arrogant but still smooth.
"Rogue? Did you just call me a rogue?" Amora asked slightly flaring up. Looking up for the first time, she saw the most beautiful pair of deep blue eyes. For a moment Amora was lost in them. She shifted her gaze to other parts of his face. His jaw was finely chiseled and his body stood firmly, his shoulders and chest were what Amora wanted to lay her head on. His head was filled with fiery red hair. He was wearing a brown leathery jacket on a black fitting top that looked like it was velvelty. Amora could swear that she could see his rock hard abs through what he was wearing and his pants had a sword attached to the belt. And he had the scent of lavender. Amora thought once that he must be a warrior, a very fine warrior.
" What are you looking at rogue?" He asked with his eyes as cold as winter.
Amora thought he was very rude.
"Call me a rogue one more time and I'll smash your face in" Amora spat at him.
"She's rude" he said with a frown.
"And you are ruder, if there's anything like that. Who do you think you are anyway? I already apologized" she said.
"You've got an attitude rogue, perhaps it blinded you while you ran. Keep your attitude out of my way" he said again with arrogance and walked away.
"So much rudeness for a fine warrior" Amora said to herself as she walked back towards where she had left Bloom, suddenly giving up on chasing her phone thief.
"Amora! Thank the moon goddess I found you, why did you leave the garment stall?" Bloom asked Amora immediately she saw her approaching.
Amora thought of telling Bloom about the phone thief but decided against it since Bloom wouldn't understand what a phone was anyway. The first time Bloom had seen the phone, Bloom thought the phone held the souls of Amora's mother and her best friend because Amora had used their pictures as her phone's lock screen and home screen respectively.
" I uh went to see some perfumes and fragrances" Amora lied. She then told Bloom of the annoying but overly handsome stranger that she had bumped into. " Is it me or are the boys in this realm so rude but too handsome"
" The rude ones are mostly nobles. Most nobles are rude you know, Fiammetta, Neyastra, Solana all of them. I'm surprised you aren't rude at all, just um, stubborn" Bloom replied with a laugh as she ate some seeds.
The girls exhausted the sack of coins Grandma Daeva had given Amora on new sleeping garments, perfumes and some gifts for Grandma's coming name day.
Bloom indulged Amora in makeup and role play. Amora taught Bloom some dance steps but Bloom kept doing it wrong.
"Don't worry, you'll get it next time" Amora assured Bloom when she had tried the hip dance and failed.
"Why is it so difficult? Your realm's dance? It's so enchanting, yet difficult to learn ugh" Bloom let out a groan as she sank on the bed.
"You'll learn it soon Bloomie, just a little more practice" .
They talked and ate a little more before Amora came up with the idea of sneaking into one of the rooms in the mansion that was said to belong to her real mother.
"Grandma Daeva said no sneaking around Mora, what if she catches us?" Bloom whispered as they sneaked into the room. Immediately Amora stepped into the room, it became illuminated and Amora could see the room clearly. The room was quite dusty as it hadn't been in use for years. The bed was very large and the wall had different paintings of Aura and Stellan hung up.
"Wow! Your mother and father really knew how to manifest a beautiful chamber" Bloom was mesmerized by the chamber's beauty. The chamber had silver lights, a large dressing table and a large shelf that held artefacts.
"My mother and yours were treasure seekers. My mother said they would journey outside Vadina, picking rare plants, stone and sometimes forged some on their own and sold it to people" Bloom said as she looked at the different pottery designs on the shelf.
Amora was held transfixed in front of a giant painting of her mother. The blue eyes looked like they were alive and she thought she could feel something pulling her towards the picture.
"Mora, are you alright?" Bloom said, startling and snapping her out of the state.
"Yes yes I am alright" Amora quickly said.
"It's midnight already" Bloom said as she looked out the window and saw the moon looking bigger and brighter.
" The moon goddess must be in a happy mood" Bloom smiled.
Amora suddenly remembered her friend at the pond, Aquata. She hadn't gone to see her for quite some time now.
"Come now Bloom, there's someone I'd like you to meet"
Amora took Bloom by the hand and led her outside the mansion, to the pond.
"What are we doing here Mora?" Bloom asked.
"You'll see" Amora smiled and then tapped the water three times. Bloom saw the water stop it's gentle movement and then something like a female form came out of the water, with water as it's body. Bloom gasped as she saw what was happening.
The water form dropped and revealed Aquata in all her naked glory.
"You you you are a water nymph" Bloom stammered pointing at Aquata.
"Well, it's you again! I thought you had forgotten about me" Aquata said with a laugh as she found a rock to sit on.
"No I didn't, I just had um, some real awkward situations" Amora explained. Bloom's face was still in shock as she stared at the water nymph.
"This is Bloom, Bloom, meet Aquata" Amora introduced them.
"Why didn't you tell me we were meeting a water nymph?" Bloom asked.
"I thought naturites could summon the nature spirits? You should have seen one, not unless you haven't harnessed that part of your powers yet" said Aquata as she twisted her long wet hair.
"I actually have never summoned a nature spirit before. My father tried teaching me but I just can't do it. I've watched my cousin Bliss do it and then I feel ashamed" Bloom's face fell into a sad frown.
Aquata and Amora comforted Bloom. Bloom asked Aquata why she wasn't with her clan and Aquata had told Bloom her story, the same one she told Amora.
Bloom was about to pick up a flower but got pricked badly by a thorn and was bleeding. Amora helped her wrap the bleeding finger with a piece of her scarf.
Amora and Bloom tried to invite Aquata to their night together but the nymph declined politely, with the promise of joining them the next time and also asked them to come to this exact same spot in the early evenings that she had something to show them.
Aquata held out a shiny ruby stone strapped to a golden necklace and gave it to Amora.
"What's this?"Amora and Bloom both asked.
"It's the crystal stone. It allows it's wearer access and possess magic temporarily, as long as they have it on them. It only works if the holder has magic in them and I believe you do" Aquata said.
"How do I know I have magic in me to get it to work?" Amora asked.
" cristallaeum luminiesa illuminuaria" Aquata said and When Amora repeated the same words, the stone glowed blue.
"It glowed! It glowed!" Amora squealed as she showed the glowing necklace to Bloom and as she turned to show Aquata, she found that the water nymph had gone back into the water.
Bloom helped Amora put on the necklace. The ruby necklace maintained a blue color to disguise it's true form.
"I don't know what power this would give me " Amora wondered out loud as she touched the necklace.
"Perhaps it would bring out your fire elemental power" Bloom said with glee.
Amora took a deep breath and closed her eyes, trying to envision herself as a fire elemental and just then she could feel cackles of small fire, the heat tickled her palm.
" It's working!" Bloom shouted and that threw Amora into super excitement as the fire grew.
"How do I stop it? How do I stop it!" Amora asked as she saw the fire growing bigger and bigger. Amora began to panic and just then the fire disappeared. Amora stared at her father's healing bracelet on her wrist and then at Bloom's thorn injury, an idea popped into her head. If the necklace could help give her fire elemental powers, perhaps it could help her access her father's healing bracelet and heal Bloom.
It was indeed so!
