Unriding the unicorn, she was depressed. She felt at loss. She felt like she has lost the only means to her Pan Kai. Unicorn hadn't betrayed her and never ever told her that she was wrong. But Hachette had to leave him, because one day he too was going to retract.
But all she felt was loss. She used to lie in her bed all the day long. She had quit her love for mankind, rather she'd decided to avoid them all, avoid them till they learn the importance her life. Many had promised her that they would stand by her all the life long. But they all cheated or they were frightened. They all were in her heart, so they've broken her, and were broken too because they were in the wrong palace. That palace just suited when the crown of her Kai was there.
She was in loss because she had emptied her flask after filling it full, to fill it again with the love of Kai.
In a barge on an arroyo
I was sitting on the brink
Seeing the murmurin' waves
Watching the luxury snake
I was in wait
Just at the stake
What was that fidget? Why she was not at peace ? Why she was disturbed on having their footprints in her heart? Why? Their harsh feet had engraved deep on the fragile walls of her only asset, the heart, and had led it bled and bled it hard.
Was that the only loss she had? She was lying when she saw the bragging men and women, in a beam of sunlight coming from behind the velvet curtains, just as the specs of dust. They were weak. Their pegs, the mountains, were just like fluffed up wool. She still loved them, she couldn't control but to care.
Just then, there came the moment when Kai had talked in person to Hachette, "You are not their guardian!" And the fire and the furor vanished. She was at peace.
