Chapter 1 - CHAPTER ONE

Seoul being one of the best cities in Korea had it's perks. Although it had maximum crime rate, it was still a place of traditions and serenity.

My name is Xiao Yan, born to the family of Xiao Futu and Xiao Sao. Surrounded by swordmen, this was a place where magic reigned supreme, although most people still decided to stick to their traditional swordmanship, it was strong enough to make other magical swordsmen have a run for their money. I was pretty good at using the sword. Not because I loved the way of the sword, but because I had no attribute for magic. Many kids mocked me because of this but I didn't care. I loved living a carefree life but never stopped training with the sword. My swordmanship was strong enough to counter many adults and magical swordsmen at the age of 15. I was what people called a genius with the sword, but I never felt that way. How could someone who couldn't use magic be called a genius.

My Dad had a shrine in which a sword was kept there. No one ever touched that sword. According to them, it was the sword held by the Spirit Lord of the Sky Pavilion. That's what they believed but whenever my father and mom told me about it, I had this feeling that there was always truth in it. Well is not like I give a damn or anything. I was always the one that took care of the shrine. I still never believed in this shrine shit. I always thought that it was his age playing a prank on him.

My Dad always wanted me to be strong and always had me practice martial art and swordmanship. My mom would roar at him telling him to let me enjoy my childhood, but all my father would do was compliment and and wink at her, she woul then blush and leave me to my faith. How was that fair? I knew that she was a lost cause but whenever she started shouting at my Dad, I would feel happy, only to get struck down with the sight of her shunning me under the effect of being complimented by him. I decided not to hope on her again.

All went well until one night. I was sleeping in front of the shrine when I had a dream where I was in a white plane. It seemed to be another dimension or something of that sort. An old man walked up to me. Although I couldn't really see his face due to how bright the room was, there was something peculiar and this familiar feeling I got from him.

"Yan'er, the son of my best friend and partner. I have been searching for someone who I would be able to take on the mantle of my power. Someone with strong judgements and of great wisdom. Someone of great strength, but found no worthy person."

"So what does that have to do with me? You just need to continue looking. Who knows, you may finally find someone." I clicked my tongue after stating my opinion. Did this old man bring me here to complain of his incompetence in finding an incarnate?

"Yeah. Until I found you. You have a strong magic power lying dormant in you Yan'er. So I will incarnate into you, giving you my soul power. Take Kurogane, the sword with the Dragon of destruction, Ancalagon's soul and look for Shin, the sword of death, with the soul of the void Dragon, Mag'lodroth. You will play a big role in the safety of your realm. Don't go to the Sky Pavilion no matter what happens. Go to Shanghai. The school of Magnus will help you grow stronger. A friend of mine will be there to take you in"

"Hey wait....why the fuck? Don't I get a say in this? Who are you to decide my life without giving so much as a right to refuse. Answer me Old Man!!!"

"Sorry boy. You don't"

Suddenly everywhere turned dark as by parents tapped me with a worried face.

"Dad? Mom? What happened? What's with the long faces?" I saw their worried face.

"How do you feel Yan'er? Do you feel strange?"

Now I thought about it, I was brimming with power. I observed my body and noticed a ball at my stomach area. It was glowing with a golden flame.

"I feel strangely strong Dad. There's something like a ball in my stomach area."

"Sit down Yan'er. Hurry."

As I sat down, my Dad hurriedly did some movement with his fingers, poking some places in my body. With a shocked face, he placed his two hands on my back and some strange energy started entering me.

..................

Xiao Futu P.O.V

His dantian is opened already? This is the most suitable body to train martial art.

As I continued pouring my yin-yang energy into him, his core was sucking in my energy quickly.

"Hurry Sao. Help me. Let's do this together."

We both poured out energy into Yan'er and suddenly there was a boom. I and Sao flew some distance back and Yan'er was floating mid-air with golder flames surrounding his body.

"Yan'er concentrate on that core and try to absorb the energy around you into you dantian and core. I mean the ball your seeing."

All the flame energy around and the elemental energy around was being sucked into him as his golder flames turned vivid. Suddenly the golder flames had other colors in it. There was red, green, black, blue and a white color that were faint in the golden flames. Before Yan'er calmed down.

I looked at Sao and she looked at me.

"The Ancient Golden Asura Dragon body. Such a royal and ancient Dragonic bloodline."
