When he woke up, he found himself in a white room. He can tell that it was a hospital since it featured some medical instruments here and there. It did not take too long to recall what had leads him to be here.
'Holycrap! why do I just keep on passing out?' Xander cursed in his mind. 'Was that an ability or something else?'
'It's strange though, did someone just attack me for no reason? or did I messed up with someone again?' he wondered. Back in their street he used to get on the way of the Awakens several times in a street and ended up beaten badly. There were always those who like to use their power to abuse the weak ones, and he wasn't a type of person who can be bullied and let it go easily. He usually fought back even if he had no any chance at all. 'This doesn't make sense. Does it mean the Awakens tried to bully me? But isn't it my first day in the academy?'
The Awakens was a name used to refer those who have unlock there arcana. Hence their arcana granted them different abilities according to their genes and bloodline.
'Wait... What was that strange text which poped up from nowhere? Was it... Oh shit! This is crazy, it can't be right?'
'It looks like some kind of a system message!'
As soon as Xander thought about it, a status screen prompted right infront of him.

'Wh.. what? Does it mean that wasn't an attack? It was something else. But what is this? Is it some type of a game which used to exist before the revolution and mutation?...am I a robot now or ...what?' he tried to come up with something but fail, though he was still existed in finding out if this is how he has unlock his arcana. Above a status screen, there were some other tabs apart from 'status'. When he focus in one of the tab, a 'skills' tab automatically poped up and replace the last tab.

'It looks like a game, and what is the use of all this shit here if it has no any available skill?' Xander cursed in his mind as he looks disappointed.
"Wait... the system state skills are locked, so there should be a way to unlock them?...YES it should be!" Xander bruptly shouted, he couldn't stop imaging how powerful he would become once he unlock the skills. 'Did they heard me? I guess I am doomed.'
He then focus to a new tab which was written 'Quest' tab and a new tab popped up again.

'What the h*ll is this, how am I suppose to evolve? Do I suppose to evolve into some type of beast or what?' Xander was confused.
'I have never heard of this shit befo...' Xander enterupt his sentence since the door was swung open.
He could see a man dressed in dark red track suit, just like a woman in reception it has some strands of white lines drawn in unique ways, which run from the chest area toward the sides.
"Hi!, I am among of the professors in this academy. I am Orson's friend. I came to catch you up what's goes on." Professor explains as he smile. "We don't know why but for some reasons you fell down and passed out. The doctor has done some check up on your body, she said you are okey. Now since you have woke up, you should go in your domitory and rest."
"Tomorrow, the class will start. Your watch will update you a timetable schedule, be punctual and...don't disappoint me boy." Professor winked as he turn around to leave. "And close your mouth."
It was then that Xander realize he has been open his mouth the whole time since he thought the professor has seen his system screen, the system screen has been active all the time till now but it seems not the case since the professor has not react in any means.
'Didn't he saw it?' Xander wondered. 'Or did he just pretend not to see?'
'Whatever, I should hurry to my room...but then how do I even remove this screen infront of my eyes.' The screen disappear as soon as he thought how to dismiss it. "Waoh! This is really amazing."
When he check the time it was a 9:30 pm, but then...he couldn't see a bracelet on his wrist.
"I am sure it was here and it always can't get away of my hand, I also tried and tried together with Orson but we failed to remove it then who on else has took it." Xander mumbled while looking for it all over the room, still he failed to see it.
"This sounds crazy...!"
"I should just leave, it's ten minutes already." He sigh as he open the door to leave.

After climbing some staircase, he took a turn to a corridor at a certain direction. When he reached at a particular door he stop and look over the door, there was a number written '212'.
'This is it. They said I should put my watch at a scanner.' He thought as he review the instruction.
The door crack and open wide to let him enter the room. When he took few steps forward, the door closed itself.
"Waoh! That's amazing." The action has suprised Xander which has quite left him stunned.
The room was huge with three beds in it. He saw his room mate already fallen sleep and one bed was left empty which was exactly his. There were also three cupboard in which students can use to store their properties. He went to look for an empty one and put his bag inside before he throw himself on a bed.
Opening his system screen, he direct direct went to the quest tab.
[Main Quest]
[Evolve]
'This really sucks! It doesn't even explain to me what it means. How am I going to figure out now?'
He then see the other quest which really left him stunned than ever, eslecially the last one.
