"I forfeit." Xander declared infront of everyone. The arena was suddenly quit but then whispers start to spread from every corner of the room.
"Why are they forsake to him." One of the students ask the other. "Is he that strong to make others forsake?"
"I doubt that but I think there is something else." The other reply.
"I know they are strong, but one to be that strong to scare others?"
"May be they have made some kind of contract?"
"This is bullshit!" Someone shouted, even others turn to look the bitch who shouted.
However, all of the whispers and shouts didn't change anything, as Prof Vance appeared and announce the winner of the competition.
Eventually, everyone was outside the building now as the competition was over. Although some doubted that Xander was stronger than Jake but most thought that Jake was the strongest of all.
Originally, Xander hasn't forfeit just because he feared Jake or because the one he term as the strongest among them has forfeit to him, it's because he wanted to stay down so that he can not attract more attention. In really he has already attract attention but he want to not attract even more, though he sure didn't know if he can stand a chance against Jake.
Meanwhile Xander was inside his room laying on his bed, he could be seen starring at the space but he sure was looking to his system screen. After all the fight he had, he can't deny the profit he had received. He had received two skills and that was what he was reading at the time.

When he open a 'kick blast' skill it wasn't that different with punch blast, since they all bring the same result and it consume the same amount of energy. The only difference was the organ used.
[Kick blast: This skill help a user to deploy an invisible force which will be accompaned by a kick and once the foot connected to anything an energy blast will occur.]
The last skill was different to the rest though as it's name states it was used to create barrier to block attacks, and it consume -3 energy to deploy it. After a while Xander decided to heard outside.

Meanwhile Vander was inside his room sitting at one of the corner, his head was held down. Just by looking someone can say he is sleeping, but those in the room with him they understand him quite well. He wasn't sleeping as it seems but he was in deep thinking. When he is at this condition, he always loss control of his power as a suddenly gust of wind appear from nowhere and blew everything on it's way, so the easiest way to overcome it is by staying as calm as he could. His room mates are aware of his condition so they let him be.
'Why do they always tear each other apart?' Vander thought. 'I know that damn Volcanic Baron tricked his own son!'
'And that Vinn boy is he from Underground realm? He seems quite powerful and I haven't heard of him anywhere.'
'It made sense now, he should be from the Underground realm, the ones who keep appear on our ways. He might be their heir or atleast one of them. I will keep an eye one him.'
Slowly others can see Vander raise his head while his eyes were still closed. His roommates prepare themselves for the worst as they can predict what will follow. After sometimes his eyes were finally opened and a suddenly gust of wind blew inside the room it wasn't that strong but it still distract some items here and there.
His two room mates exhale deeply as they were held their breath.
"Dude my heart nearly pop out!' The first boy complained while his left arm on his chest.
"Not bad. It seems you have improve well." The second boy said while laying on the bed. "Though I can't understand why you let that brat win! Why on earth did you forsake?"
There was a silence that accompanied after the question as all the two boys looked at Vander's direction waiting for an answer.
"It's not like you can understand me." Vander sighed before he stand up and left them behind in the room.
It was evening as the sky was scarlet since the sun was disappearing slowly inside the horizon.
During his walk he spot Xander walking at a certain direction.
"It seems luck is at my side." Vander chuckle to himself before approach Xander.
When he was behind him, he raised his hand but before he touch him, Xander suddenly rotate and grab Vander's wrist and twisted it. Since it was a suddenly attack Vander swang his free arm to Xander's arm in order to break free. Xander could see an incoming fist, he could tell it wasn't a normal fist since he could feel it was acompanied by arcana. Xander had no choice but to also throw his own fist, at the moment they connect a huge blast of energy occur as it sent everyone flying on the opposite direction.

'Damn it! That's quite hurt. How strong is he?' Xander cursed in his mind while he stand up and position himself a fight stance. 'And how did I just suddenly grab him from behind? Wait a minute.... is it to do with insticts the system used to warn me? And who is this intruder again?'
At the time when Xander evolve, the system told him that his insticts has sharpen hence he should be more careful since he might end up hurt others.
Originally, Xander hasn't use his raw strength, he has used one of his skill 'punch blast.'

"Oh! Come on, I didn't come here to pick a fight you fella." Vander explain while stand up from the ground. "Though I admit that you are quite strong. Wait I thought you have no arcana then what's that?"
'Shit! What should I answer him now?' Xander cursed again. 'I didn't know he was Vander.'
"Don't mind it, it's not my business anyway." Vander said. "I am here to talk to you."
