I woke up tangled with him, our bodies glued together with sticky sweat. I didn't remember falling asleep in his embrace, but it must've happened because that was where I was
now, surrounded by his powerful body.
It was dark, and he was asleep. I could hear his even breathing and could feel the rise and fall of his chest while my head rested on his shoulder. My mouth was dry and my bladder was full, so I tried to wiggle out from under his heavy arm β which immediately tightened around me.
"Where are you going?" Lucian's voice was hoarse, roughened with sleep.
"To the bathroom," I explained cautiously. "I have to pee."
He lifted his arm and moved his leg off my calves. "All right. Go."
