The martial world kept their involvement with the mortal world to a minimum. Even during the world wars of the mortal realm, they never bothered to intervene.
As the years continued to pass by the two worlds simply forgot about each other. The mortal realm taking the Martial world as nothing but folklore while the martial world took the mortal world as too pathetic to even pay attention to.
No one knows how but somewhere in the middle of history, the martial world and the werewolf clans encountered one another and clashed for a short while before a peace treaty was established. Then the vampires came along and were revered as the great enemies of the werewolves.
But soon they too just decided to not bother each other after countless fighting.
The werewolves were more of a mystery than anything else apart from them being able to turn into wolf-like creatures with varying degrees of strength, nothing else was known and the vampires even more so.
The werewolves established themselves on an isolated island they called Lycania, the vampires settled in the modern day Europe and they lived off the blood of the humans there.
…
As John finished explaining all these things, Tyler took everything in. The idea of Ranks among the cultivators told Tyler that the possibility of getting stronger was there and the coming in of martial techniques even more so.
From what Tyler could also deduce. It seemed that these hidden cultures were unknown to the world or were more accurately disregarded as nothing more than rumors and fairytales and that the only way to learn more about cultivation was through the clans of the martial world, only problem was, he didn't know where the martial world was and even if he did, there was no way he would leave his family so soon just for the sake of becoming stronger. He just hadn't spent a lot of time with them just yet.
So if he had to visit the martial world he would prefer it if he went there after maybe two or three years. The more Tyler thought the more that he had to admit to himself that it sounded slightly ridiculous. But then again, Tyler looked in Jex's direction.
'There is a living werewolf right next to me' he thought to himself.
As Tyler was lost in his thoughts Jex spoke, interrupting his thought process
"Wait you spoke about beasts?" Jex asked. This made Tyler even more curious. If he remembered correctly, from Jex's master did say something about beasts and how their beast cores could help in getting stronger by what was called 'cultivation'.
Seriously couldn't they think of some better names, Tyler thought to himself.
"Ai…I did. Back in the day the animals that are known to the world today weren't actually how they currently are. They used to be faster, stronger and some beasts even had intelligence comparable to that of a human being" John explained.
"So what happened to them?" Tyler asked.
"Well for one… instead of evolving further, they actually regressed for some unknown reason and the world energy that is currently released by the world now is actually quite small if you compare it to the dense energy of the past and there were actually multiple theories. The most believable being that the world could no longer sustain cultivation due to the influx of cultivators while the most absurd actually said that a wizard from Britannia- now Britain, actually sealed the world off. Ha, ha, ha!" John laughed like a senile old man.
Tyler was silent for a moment before finally asking the question that was on his mind.
"So beasts are extinct now?"
"What are you talking about you brat. Of course they're still there. If cultivators can still cultivate during this day what makes you think that beasts would just vanish off the face of the Earth huh?"
Tyler grit his teeth. This man was really annoying. How was he supposed to think like that when he had never experienced all of this before!
Another idea flashed in his mind
"So you know where we can find them?" Tyler asked with a small spark in his eyes
"I don't particularly know but when I was in the Golden mane sect, we would go on a yearly exhibition to the Behemoth Jungle" John stopped and pondered for a moment. "Oh yeah Lycania also has a forest of their own filled with beasts and wildlife"
Well Tyler immediately scratched that off his list, after hearing this it would seem as though he would have to travel to the Martial world and again he would have to go there after two years at least. That was his original plan. That is until…
"There was also rumors of some beasts residing in the Amazon Jungle…"
The Amazon Jungle?
Wait isn't that in south America? This was perfect he would need to first visit that place before heading to the Martial World. At this point Tyler was so lost in his thoughts that he wasn't even listening anymore.
"…so are there any more questions?" John asked
