The anger that I felt in that moment was unlike any I'd ever experienced. My jaw was locked tight, my hands were balled into fists at my side and the more I looked at Laura's tear stained face the more bones I wanted to break from the bastard who was violating her in broad daylight.
"You," the bastard released Laura from the wall and walked to me. "You're the punk who beat Don."
He was few feet from me. He was the same height as me, a full 6 foot 5 and I was beginning to find it hard not to bash his head in for what he'd done.
"You better take a step back because it's hard to resist the urge to knock your teeth out," I said through gritted teeth. Laura had buttoned up her shirt and she tagged at my arm.
"Let's just go," she said. Her hands were trembling. She was scared, possibly even traumatized. I had to take priority on her first before dealing with the bastard.
"Yeah let's go," I said without breaking eye contact with him. Laura and I began to retreat down the stairs just as four other guys came out through the rooftop door.
Do these thugs come in packsges of four or what?
"This isn't over you fucking prick," I promised him as we disappeared in to the the fourth story hallway. We were greeted by Beatrice, Patricia, Rochelle and Nathan who's worried expressions worsened as they saw the state Laura was in. Her face was bruised, her shirt was messed up and she even had a limp in her walk. We were instantly bombarded with questions.
"Jesus," Nathan had said
"What happened," Beatrice had said with her hands over her mouth.
"Those damn bastards," Patricia had cursed.
Rochelle didn't speak she just had a terrifying gaze. Now that I think about it, why was Rochelle here? I thought she didn't like me?
"Patricia, Beatrice, get her to the nurse," I said. "Allen get your ass out here right now!"
Allen Baker who had hidden in shame behind some lockers showed himself. His face was swollen and blood dripped from his nostrils. His left arm supporting his shoulder where it had almost been dislocated.
"You and I need to have a talk," I said

The siren had gone indicating the start of lunch. Allen Baker had then decided to complete his task. Spike, Dutch and Reynolds had accompanied him as he went down to the second floor's class 2A. He'd swept through the room while the others asked those who were in the halls.
The newbie wasn't in the classroom. Dutch peepep through the door and said,"Some guys saw him heading out the backdoor of the first floor. He's probably heading to the cafeteria."
"Alright then he'd better hurry," Allen had said.
Just then Nathan couldn't stop talking.
"Yo Tyler I feel like you and I could really connect, no? Not in any sort of weird way that is," he'd chuckled as we walked through a set of doors that led to the other side of the school where the cafeteria, indoor basketball court, football field and just a little beyond that a diner.
"We're not going to the cafeteria?" I asked as Nathan pushed me past it's doors.
"No way I can let you do that pal. We're going to the diner," he announced with a grin.
"But aren't diners for breakfast?"
"The hell gave you that idea!"
Just then Rochelle appeared behind us.
"Oh so you guys aren't heading to the cafeteria?" she said with one eyebrow arched up.
"Of course not were heading to the diner," again Nathan spoke with unbinded pride.
"Uh-huh but isn't it just used for breakfast?," she said absently.
"That's what I just told him," I muttered.
"Seriously what is wrong with you guys!" Nathan frowned. "If that's what you guys think then you better just follow me and I'll prove you wrong."
He lead us past the cafeteria and then we took a turn to walk on a small path between the basketball court and the bleechers. Just beyond that was a wire fence then across the street from there was the diner. We were making our way through and all the while Nathan was explaining the so called misconceptions about diners only specializing in breakfast only.
"Oi!" someone shouted behind us.
"Mmh?" we stopped and turned around to see a guy wearing a black leather jacket, a silver chain and a mohawk for a haircut. Behind him there were three other guys.
"What now?" I grumbled
"Well since you took down the boss of class 2A it technically makes you the new boss," Nathan explained.
"Yeah so?" I was genuinely confused. I was the class boss? What the hell did that have to do with anything?
"Geez are you really that dense?" Rochelle pitched in which earned her an even more confused look from me. "What he's trying to say is that your required to see the school boss that's the only reason fourth years would be looking for you."
"Fourth years? Damn why is this day getting complicated when I barely started school?"
And what the hell was this school boss thing, I thought: there was nothing like that in the briefing or any of the school files.
I shook my head in frustration.
"Hey new guy Brandon wants to see you," the guy with the mohawk said.
"Hey listen man I don't want anything to do with the class boss or school boss or whatever fancy name you call yourself," I said blantly. "Also... who's Brandon?"
"Why you puny little..." Spike was pissed off because of what the new second year and new class 2A boss had said. He was brushing off their authority, treating them like they were a bunch of nobodies and Spike wasn't going to have any of it.
Before Allen could reply Spike had already shot forward. He was closing the distance between me and him with his fist ready to blast off at me. I was in the midst of readying myself but before either Spike or I could react, I felt a gash of wind pass by me and Spike was already groaning, he's back was hunched as he held onto his nuts for dear life.
Rochelle had sent a terrifyingly powerful kick. Envision a baseball bat crushing a delicate egg. That's how Spike felt right then as he dropped to his knees still holding his balls as if they would magically heal but then Rochelle sent her knee into his face and it felt like a hammer had struck an iron nail right on the bridge of his nose.
Spike couldn't believe it as his vision blurred, he was falling over. He had just been done in by a girl?
Dutch, Reynolds and Allen had shocked expressions on their faces. They still couldn't process what had just happened infront of them.
"Didn't you guys hear the man say he wanted nothing to do with you?" Rochelle said as her sense of justice which was instilled in her by her father who was a SFPD detective. Usually she'd prefer to have that side of hers suppressed but for some reason she stepped up to help Tyler, someone she barely knew.
What am I thinking?; Rochelle thought.
