Inside the Sect master's room there were two women sitting on the soft bed, one of them had what looked like a palm sized orb in her hand.
It was showing the image of Tian and Ren as they were walking towards the inner region.
It was a Rank-2 Heavenly artifact, The Truth seeking orb. It was even more valuable than some Rank-3 Heavenly artifacts.
These two women were the Sect Master, Qin Wanyu and her disciple Shen Ziyen. They both had their suspicions towards Tian and his companion.
Even though Qin Wanyu had confirmed his story through her channels, she couldn't take any risks.
" Master, they've entered the inner region." Shen Ziyen called out softly. She was the only person who knew her Master's true identity.
Her master was a Half-Step Infernal Lord Realm Cultivator originally, the number one expert of this world, Lu Devil.
But Shen Ziyen herself had a secret , a secret big enough to shake the Heavenly Realm and start a War. Only her master knew about it other than herself.
Qin Wanyu had been protecting her from others since then. It was the other reason she didn't want to attract much attention.
Because if her secret of being the Lu Devil might get her killed, then the secret of Shem Ziyen would endanger the World itself.
It was not something a small world like a Tier-2 world or even a Tier-4 world could handle!!
"He's indeed looking for soul nourishing herbs, was I wrong?" Qin Wanyu was in doubt.
She knew that her suspicions were baseless since beginning but she had a feeling that what she was seeing was not the full picture.
" It's like he's not lying but he's hiding the full truth, showing us what he wants us to see." She didn't know what to make out it anymore, maybe she was just being paranoid.
" Master, can it be that he knows we are spying on him?" Shen Ziyen believed that Tian was telling the truth, but she believed her Master more and since she felt that something's wrong, it must be .
Qin Wanyu shook her head " It shouldn't be, not even a Heavenly King would be notice it. And he has a Divine soul of a peak-stage Heavenly Lord Realm, and by what he said previously he found a Rank-4 Divine Essence Condesing Pill which was more than he expected, he should not have stepped into Heavenly King Realm."
Shen Ziyen was puzzled "Master Tian is a Divine Cultivator and he used to be stronger than Master. Divine Cultivators and Infernal Cultivators are like fire and ice, then why would Master Tian want to befriend Master?"
As she said, Divine Cultivators and Infernal Cultivators were like Orthodox Sects and Unorthodox Sects. They were natural enemies of each other.
" That's what most suspicious, I don't believe he doesn't have a ulterior motive." Qin Wanyu didn't want to believe that a Divine Cultivator would not kill her at first sight, much less make friends with her.
" Master, I know i was joking last time but what if he really has an interest in you?" Shen Ziyen was still focused on that.
Qin Wanyu smiled to that " Then it would make things much simple, I can just use him to get things done for me."
Her reply didn't shock Shen Ziyen much, she knew her Master's personality the best. She was charming and seductive looking on outside but inside she was an cruel Devil. Her title 'Lu Devil' was not just for show.
Feelings like love were meaningless to her, and she considered it a hindrance to her Path. Shen Ziyen respected her master the most so she also followed her and put aside things like love.

Inside the Inner region, Tian met a few beasts occasionally, but all of them avoided him like plague, even abandoned their territories they catrrs about more than their life.
They could feel the Peak-stage Mahayana Cultivation from Tian since he didn't bother hiding it.
" Looks like you're going to be used a lot now." Ren chuckled while enjoying her ride on his shoulder.
Tian was just strolling while plucking some herbs and going deeper, " What can I say, being used by beautiful women is my destiny, I must bear it."
They encountered many beasts such as a Three-horned-Golden-Bull, it had a physical body which could crush anything in it's way and flatten mountains, a green ape with a king physique, it had the power to lift more than 100,000 kg with physical strength alone.
Some Cultivators used the blood of demonic beasts to make themselves stronger by fusing their bloodline and improving their Physique.
Physique were of two types - Inherent and Acquired. Inherent Physique were obviously stronger than their counterparts.
But even they had to improve their Physique by fusing the bloodline of a demonic beast with same Physique or by some special means.
Constitution was similar yet different to Physique. Like, Sword Body Constitution, those born with it had a natural affinity towards Sword Dao and their future was limitless. But unlike Physique they need not be upgraded, instead they had to prove their Sword Dao.
If Physique was all about resources, then Constitution was all about talent.
Because of this, there were many Cultivators in the Thousand-Beast-Valley all time around for hunt, the value of any Demonic Beast was great, its meat was a delicacy, the bones were used as raw materials to refine weapons and their Demonic core/ Golden core was used as a source of qi to Power some weapons or as an eye for some Formations. The most valuable was their blood ofcourse.
Even without this, Cultivators sought to fight them to consolidate their Realm or gain experience and try to have some chance enlightenment.
Disciples of Third rate Sects could only wander in the periphery of outer region afraid that they had encounter a Golden Core Realm Beast.
Even though the elders were also at Golden core Realm, everything knew that Demonic Beasts of same Realm was not something Cultivators could defeat and that too in their own home territory, that was just suicidal.
Similarly for second rate sects , they were allowed to wander only to the periphery of inner region. The First rate Sects only had the manpower to go deeper into the Inner region but even they didn't dare to cross the boundary of core region.
That's because Divine Realm beasts were different from the lower Beasts, they could transform into human form and cast bewitching formations or trapping formations if they wanted. Many first rate Sects thought wanted to prove themselves by going inside the core region, but most of them never returned.
For those who managed to survive, they were already Half-dead. Since then the core region was an absolute forbidden area for anyone other than those from Major Sects.
The other reason as for why the core region was so dangerous was because the Beasts inside were hostile towards anyone who stepped inside their territory. Lower Beasts might ignore you or even flee their territory if they thought the fight was not favorable for them.
But inside the Core region, all Beats were arrogant. They would rather fight you to death than fleeing their territory even if they met a stronger opponent.
In one such area of core region there was a fight ongoing between a late-stage Tribulation Transcendence Realm Beast, the Miasma Serpent with a Sky-level Physique. It was a King among Beasts and even some stronger beasts stayed away from him.
The reason was because as it's name suggested, it lived inside a dense swamp covered with Miasma. Unless you had a strong Poison immunity, your strength will be depleted slowly the more you fight. And before you know you'll die of the poison not because of the Beast himself.
There were some people fighting it , one peak-stage , two late-stage and four mid-stage Tribulation Transcendence Realm experts and there were some disciples of Soul-Fusion and Divine Transformation Realm.
The Serpent was almost Half-dead, when the Peak-stage used his sword to attack once more
" Jade Lotus In the Wind!!"
The sword descended with a green crescent Slash and a windblade came out with a vibration. The snake couldn't dodge in time and the windblade left a deep wound on it's neck.
The disciples were cheering that the fight was almost over, but the elders were more serious.
" Let's get out of here while we can." The Peak-stage stage expert adviced and the other elders agreed.
The Disciples were confused.
" Isn't that snake almost dead, why are we retreating then?" One of them asked.
A girl who was in lead said while retreating " It's a late-stage Tribulation Transcendence Realm Beast , do you think it'll go down without a last fight?"
This was the first time for these new disciples coming here but not for her. She knew that once the serpent thinks he's going to die, he's going to take with him as much he can.
While she was thinking that, the serpent already took a human form, covered in dark blue scales, with a wide mouth and a slithering tongue.
" Since all you want to kill me so badly, let's die together." Saying that he ignited his Dantian, which made a huge explosion.
"" Blazing Earth Lotus!!!""
All the elders joined hand to defence, several red lotuses erupted from the ground and made huge barrier trying to contain the explosion.
" All of you, fall back!!"
The elders shouted towards the disciples. They ignited their blood essence to boost the defence but it wasn't enough. The barrier collapsed and the explosion reached the elders.
" No!! " Lin Yingmei shouted as she was ready to make her move.
But before she could, she felt an incredible pressure which stopped her in place, she saw that the explosion was being pushed back at a visible rate untill it was made into a ball the size of a palm.
A man walked next to it and took out a talisman and sealed it inside the talisman.
