Kenny snorted as he said that. Well, the matter was just so obvious now that anyone who doesn't know about it would probably be living under a rock.
Eternity Online :-
A Fully immersive virtual reality MMORPG. This game was launched in 2190 and the current year was 2220, in short this game has been on the top of the tank for more than 30 years now.
The game offered the much wanted greenery which was lost in the current world due to the growth in technology and population.
With its unique mechanism which affects your brain cells, sending them into a sleep state while completely copying the 5 human senses into the game, everyone was excited for this game.
But that was not the only reason why this game was super enchanting and attractive. With the strongest and most powerful supercomputer and AI 'The supreme one' as its high game master and creator many geeks and gamers were expecting a lot of things from it.
If this was not enough then the fact that no one, not even the company which created the game can interfere with the game was enough to excite a lot of people.
Yet was this enough for this ultimate game which dominated the gaming industry for 30 years? Of course not.
The game was equal not just for players but for in-game existence globally known as NPCs as well. The world building also follows its own timeline which means that nothing is computerized and enhanced, it was given natural time to grow from scratch. Just like a true planet.
The creator of this game was none other than the Hexus group of companies with Dre Parker being the creator of this game.
"Hmm, I guess that was a dumb question. Have you ever played the game yourself?"
Dre Parker asked as he was surprised with his own question. He had seen the game reign supreme for more than 30 years. How could he forget the popularity of the game?
"Nah, and YOU are the reason behind that. You launch only 10,000 headsets per year. How the fuck do you expect from a 17 year old student to buy it with his own money?"
Well, what Kenny said was the truth even though he was being extremely sarcastic. The game sold pods but they were so expensive that a novae rich's whole year's income would be spended.
The only option was to buy the headset but due to political and economical reasons there were only 10,000 sold in each continent depending on the demand.
"Hahaha, I guess you are right."
Dre Parker said while scratching his head with a sorry expression. After all, even though he was a trillionaire he still had to listen to the old grumpy world government.
"How about I give you a chance then? You can play the game but there is a requirement of course."
"What is it?"
Kenny asked the question while his eyes sparkled. Even though it might not look like it he was a really hardcore internet researcher and Eternity Online has been it's favourite even before he was adopted. The game's historical and fantasy theme was more exciting than anything for Kenny.
Now that the option was shown he even forgot in which condition he was brought in this place.
"Live in the game for forever with the option of never coming back to reality."
Dre Parker said after a pause he didn't know how to perfectly present his sentence but seeing the attitude of Kenny he tried to be as blunt as possible because the one thing he hated the most was hiding.
Kenny flinched when he heard this. His mind went blank but he kept staring at Dre for a few minutes.
"Let me tell you about the reality about this game which was hidden from everyone."
Seeing that no reply came from Kenny Dre finally decided to be the explainer so that Kenny could understand everything he wanted to tell him.
Dre moved towards the bookshelf in the office. He stood in front of the bookshelf which somehow scanned his face and DNA. The book shelf was lifted up while the wall behind it completely vanished as if it was not even there.
"Follow me."
Dre said while for some unknown reason Kenny complied. There was an empty hallway whose end was not able to be seen. Quite spooky because it was made from wood flooring which is extremely rare in this century.
Kenny started walking behind Dre who kept moving forward without even looking at Kenny as if he was able to see something which can't be seen by Kenny. Really spooky and terrific.
"Do you know about Arc Energy?"
Kenny suddenly asked out of nowhere to which Kenny's reply was as you have expected:-
"Again, do you really think I live under a rock?"
Arc Energy, the energy which replaced every fuel in existence. This energy was created after duplicating the property of the Nebula Clouds.
With the Arc energy the things which can be only described as fantasies of mad scientists came into reality. Life became easier to live with the inventions done by various Genius scientists using this energy.
This energy was founded 100 years ago and till this day there has been no side effect or precautions for this energy. This energy was so strong that it was supplied after placing limitations to not break the economic cycle.
"Do you know about the creator of Arc Energy?"
Dre asked after smiling inwardly. For some reason he was not feeling annoyed by this kid's rude way of speaking, more like he felt like a guardian. Well, he was ashamed that he never got married to the woman who brought Kenny here as she grew tired of waiting and married one of the board members of the company.
"Well, you ask like you don't know. That man was your grandfather, Tristan Parker."
Tristan Parker was the creator of the Arc energy as well as inventor of many other inventions which completely changed the lifestyle of people.
Because of him the Parker family was the most powerful and influential in the whole world. You can see his genes in Dre Parker who created such an outstanding game.
"There is a secret behind Eternity Online which is hidden by everyone and I am going to tell you that."
" 'The Supreme One' is an AI not created by me but by my grandmother , essentially the wife of Tristan Parker. She was a genius coder who created a universal computer language from which 'The supreme one' was built."
" 'The supreme one' is much like an intelligent being who just doesn't self learn but also has a creative mind and curiosity. Though his existence threatened some people that's why they burned alive everyone in the lab including my grandmother making the world lose a genius programmer, a universal coding language as well many geniuses."
"When my grandfather, Tristan Parker, reached there he only found the destroyed lab with a special entity, 'The Supreme One'. The AI was completely turned into a form of invisible energy which was created through a mixture of Arc Energy."

Dre finally completed his long speech which caused Kenny to be shocked. After all, who would have thought that something like this was hidden behind this worldwide popular game.
"Why tell me? I want to know about my interest rather than an old story."
When Kenny said that Dre stopped on his tracks. Silence reigned between them as no one talked a single shit but Dre broke this awkward silence :-
"Hahahaha…."
Dre kept laughing like a maniac as if someone possessed him. Kenny took a few steps back seeing this reaction.
'Well, they say geniuses have a tendency to act crazy or lose their mind." Kenny thought while he waited patiently for him to stop.
"Yeah, yeah you are right brat. Let me tell you why I want you to be live in that game forever."
