Chapter 31 - 31. No Difference

"Ms Adelia, open the door please."

The clock strikes 23.30. Someone knocked on Adelia's bedroom door, and she began to fall asleep, waiting for her husband's return.

"Mbak Atun?"

"The Little Master?."

"Nathan? What's wrong with him? Speak slowly, Ma'am."

"Little Master non seizure. The fever is very high. We need to get him to the hospital. Come on non Adel."

"Oh, my God, seizures?" Still wrapped in nightwear, Adelia immediately ran to Nathan's room, followed by Mbak Atun.

Arriving at Nathan's room, Adelia immediately checked her son's condition. She did first aid to deal with seizures from parenting books she learned. Tension, anxiety, unsettledness, and some other negative feelings filled Adelia's mind more and more.

"It's late at night, Ms. Atun, the nearest clinic or health center must have closed its service now."

"Let's go to a non-public hospital. There must be open service 24 hours. Don't delay."

"Ms. Atun is right. I'll order a taxi now, Ma'am Atun prepare Nathan's needs."

A few moments later, Adelia's taxi had landed on the hospital grounds. Mbak Atun got down first, then helped Adelia, who was carrying Nathan, to get out of the car. Lightning fast, they brought Nathan in for handling.

"Help my son, Doc."

"What happened to the patient?"

"He had a severe seizure this morning Doc. The fever is very high."

"How long has the seizure been going on this morning?"

Adelia looked at mbak Atun, expecting an answer from the mouth of her trusted assistant.

"I don't know, Doc. When I came in to get the dirty milk bottle, Little Master was already in a seizure," replied mbak Atun, explaining the events this morning to the pediatrician in front of him.

"Well, we will conduct further examinations. Excuse me."

The doctor also entered the examination room. Meanwhile, Adelia and mbak Atun went to a row of waiting for chairs not far from the examination room. Feelings of anxiety dominated Adelia's mind at that time. He grabbed the phone in his small bag, then decided to give the news to the Wibisana family.

Tut ... tut ... Adelia made an outgoing call to her husband's number

Missed calls. Adelia pressed the call back button.

Your number is being diverted. With a frown, Adelia began to growl. Again, he repeated pressing the call back button.

The number you are calling is out of range.

"Whose phone is it, dear?"

"Ah just ignore it."

"From your wife, right?"

"Em right..."

"Maybe he's looking for you. You didn't tell her you weren't coming home tonight?"

"Why think of another woman while in front of me there is already a voluptuous woman like you dear." Hendra tickled her lover.

"Hendra, can I ask you something?"

"What is honey?"

"How long do we have to hide like this? When Will You Marry Me Baby? I want to be your wife."

"Em ... listen Diyana, currently the mission to control the company has not succeeded in getting. Be patient for it baby, the most important thing right now, I will be all yours. No one can disturb us tonight. "

Diyana smiled and looked at her lover. The heat that had been muted because of the call from Adelia now began to rise again. Diyana pushes her body forward, luring Hendra to be more passionate.

It didn't take long. One by one, the clothes were simply thrown off their owners. Like newlyweds enjoying their first night, Hendra and Diyana spent time together. Job positions are deliberately moved so that they are far apart, unable to stop the love story between them.

The next morning, the clock struck 07.30. as usual, the office atmosphere was filled with employees passing by preparing for the morning briefing. Today, the briefing was led by Hendra. He delivered several work-related matters and provided morning motivation to all employees.

Among the other employees, Adelia sneaked into a position in the line. This is the first time he's been late.

"The Morning briefing is over. Please return to the office except for Mrs. Adelia."

All the employees looked at each other. They just realized that Adelia was in the back row. Without the slightest anxiety, Adelia remained firmly in place. His regret is greater than his fear for the moment.

"Adelia, why did you come late? Where Have you been?" Hendra stepped closer to Adelia.

"I should have asked Where You were when I tried to call you Hendra?"

"Don't change the subject, del. Answer my question."

"I took Nathan to the hospital. He's undergoing treatment there. I've been trying to reach you, and you deliberately turned off your phone, haven't you?"

"Yes, I was very tired last night. I want to sleep peacefully."

"Huh? where did you sleep last night?"

At once, Hendra's heart was like a drum of war. He tried to find an excuse so his wife would not become even more suspicious.

"I fell asleep in del's office."

"Oh yeah? If that's true, why don't you let me know? Am I not important to you at all?"

"Hi it's not like that. I fell asleep while finishing the report. How can I contact you?"

"Well, you're going to sleep anywhere. Nathan is currently ill and is in Hendra hospital. By religion and country you are legally Nathan's father, then where do you care about the child? Isn't there any love for him?"

Why do I love that child? He's nothing more than a tool I use to obtain corporate inheritance rights.

"I know he is not your son Hendra, but you have promised to accept and love us."

"Enough Adelia. Don't make this an excuse. Remember you just got a job, in this kind of situation you need to be professional."Hendra insisted that he did not show any concern for Nathan.

"What kind of professional Do You mean Hendra? Just leave my son in the hospital?"

"Isn't Mrs. Atun there? Let him watch Nathan while we're at the office. We have to keep getting the job done. Now go to your study."

"No, I can't work today. I'm not a selfish parent like you and your parents. Work matters above all else."

"Adelia is enough. Don't bring my parents into this. They don't know anything."

"Oh yeah? Then what?"

"I said stop it!"Hendra yelled at his wife harshly. Emotions cannot be controlled when Adelia brings her parents into her troubles.

"You are indeed a father and husband who does not have Hendra's heart. It turns out that this is your original attitude. You have changed a lot, I am very disappointed in you." Adelia's emotions have reached a breaking point. Struggling with sadness and disappointment, he stepped out of the briefing room.

"Mrs. Adelia " a woman's voice stopped her steps.

Adelia looked back and found the figure of a tall, slender, fair-skinned woman with wavy hair that dangled from the top of her head to her chest. Instantly Adelia's tears stopped. The frown on the forehead seemed to so clearly illustrate the curiosity of the beautiful woman in front of him.

"Sorry, you called me?"

"Yes. Aren't you the only one named Adelia in this place?"

An unpleasant answer simply came out of the woman's lips. Adelia was a little upset about it.

"May I know who you are?"

"Sure. I'm Diyana. Adindra Diyana. Secretary Mr. Hendra whose position you have seized now." an evil smile came from his lips.

'Oh so this woman named Diyana? I have long wanted to find out about this woman, now she boldly introduces herself in front of me.'

"What is it like to be an unloved wife? Was that fun?"

"What are you talking about Miss?"

"Hahaha. I'm sorry, Mrs. Adelia, but that's the truth. Your husband doesn't care about his wife or children, does he? Do you know what it's all about?"

Adelia let the woman speak as she pleased.

"It's all because Mr. Hendra doesn't love you. Know that he has loved only one woman all this time."

"Tell me who the woman is?"

"Hahaha, you're a very smart woman aren't you? Even Mr. Wibisana very flattering Mrs. Adelia. So please find out everything yourself. Excuse me." With a triumphant smile, Diyana left Adelia, who was still standing while looking at her.
