Chapter 41 - Quarreling

Jing Yan had never expected that this woman would ask him if he liked her so openly.

He clenched his fists by his side and suddenly looked up. His eyes were full of sarcasm and he even sneered. "He Miao, I thought you'd really given up. I didn't expect you to still be so delusional."

"So you don't?" He Miao blinked her eyes and looked at him expectantly.

Jing Yan furrowed his brows under her gaze. After a long while, he finally replied, "I don't."

He Miao heaved a sigh of relief. She had finally avoided the fate of being a supporting female cannon fodder, and she did not want to be entangled with the male lead.

Although her guess had been proven wrong, she was in a good mood as she looked at Tian Tian, who was covering his eyes behind him, and said, "Then let's not make things difficult for each other. You should coax him and make him forget about this."

She was happy, but Jing Yan was not.
