(Chapter 32)
Ero landed on the grass field with the other Lerds. "Wow this place is amazing," Mya was impressed just looking around. Lira smiled at Mya, "let's have a better look around then." All of them slowly get off Ero, one by one. They start to walk around the village taking in all the scenery. There were sales clerks in stands all around the streets. The houses were all luxurious and everything was made out of nature. The road that they were walking on was made of rouble there were plants everywhere you looked and beautiful flower gardens. As they were walking through the village mark noticed something strange, "they don't seem to care that most of us aren't elves."
"Elves don't care what species you are as long as you aren't trying to harm us, we'll be fine with you," Lira told the group with a prideful look in her eyes. Lex looked around at all of the elves minding their own business and not giving them any attention, "That's refreshing." Mya looked at Lex confused, "what do you mean?" Mya didn't understand considering her word was completely different. "All the other species don't trust each other, but elves are different," Lex made Mya aware of how the different species would react to their presence in just a few words. Lira trying to educate the group on her people quickly told them more, "the elves precipitated for the first five years but after that, they decided to choose peace over war."
Rouge sighed, "I wish the other species were like that." LIra did a sad smile, "that would've been nice." "To have peace again? Of course, that would be nice," Lex interrupted. Mya smiled trying to cheer everyone up, "good thing we're trying to make that happen!" Mya cheerfully exclaimed. "Let's just hope it works," Lex said in a gloom and doom voice. "It will," Mya confidently told Lex, "After all, I'm already getting a handle on my magic." Mark smiled at Mya's cheerful attitude and joined in, "Yep and you're doing a great job!" Mya smiled at Mark, "thank you mark, at least someone appreciates me." Mya looked over at Lex and Rouge and noticed them looking at each other. Lex was glaring at Rouge like pins and needles.
Lex quickly turned his attention to Mya, "what's that supposed to mean!" Mya looked at Lex and rolled her eyes, "like you don't know." Lex just stared at her with fire in his eye it looked more like hate to her. Mya looked at him with the same fire for a moment she just wanted him to know how he was making her feel, "You've been acting rude to me ever since Rouge, and I go back to Ero!" Mya shouted at Lex. Lex started to say something, "Well I…" He stopped midway through. "I'm listening," Mya told Lex in an agitated voice. Lex sighed, "I don't have an excuse I just need some time away from you." The whole group was watching them bicker. Lira awkwardly was trying to break the tension, "we'll head to the head elf's office while you two work it out." "You both, meet us there," Rouge told them. Mya sighed and smiled at Rouge, "ok we'll be there in a bit." The rest of the group split from them and started walking to the head elf's office.

Mya turned her attention over to Lex, she was glaring straight there him, "what's your deal!" That made Lex just as angry, he glared right back at her, "what do you mean what's my deal!" Mya walked up to him and got up in his face, "you said you think we should spend some time apart!" Lex glared down at her, "well yeah I did, and now I think we do!" Mya's eyes filled with tears, what he was saying was hurting her more than anything else had before, "what's wrong with you!" Lex doesn't seem to care, "What's wrong with me, what's wrong with you!" Lex rolled his eyes, "you're a pretty girl that just poofed into our lives." "We didn't ask for our lives to become this complicated!" "Why don't you just leave!" Lex shouted at her with all his anger behind it. He meant it.
"You want me to leave because your lives got complicated when you meet me?" Mya asked lowering her tone. "Yes," Lex replied quickly and coldly. Mya's eyes were filling up with more tears as the conversation drew out, "you're such a baby!" Lex glared at her again, "what do you mean by that!?" Mya got in his face, "when you have a problem you work it out, you don't just run away from them!" "your problems don't just disappear." Mya lowered her voice. Lex rolled his eyes, "wow look at you trying to act like an adult." The tears started to run down Mya's face, "do you ever think of anyone but yourself!?" Lex glared at her, "Yes I do." "I had feelings for you after all." Mya paused for a moment, "had?" Lex stopped and looked at Mya's crying face then quickly looked away, "I don't even know anymore."
Mya raised her voice this time with tears streaming, "I have feelings for you!" "but you acted like and cared for me and even lived me!" "You were saying sweet stuff just to take it back later!?" Lex went silent as MYa kept chewing him out, "I thought someone finally cared about me!" Lex looked at her this time he was concerned, "what do you mean by that?" Mya glared at him, "since you don't care about me why would I tell you?" Lex sighed, "just leave Mya, you don't belong here." "This isn't your world."
Mya paused for a moment, "it isn't but it's still better than the one I come from." "I wanted to live here and help this world and its people, but it's obvious you were just using me and didn't care about me." Mya shouts, "Ralph!" Ralph appeared in front of Mya, "yes Mya?" "I want to go home," Mya demanded. Ralph looked at Mya's crying face, "are you sure Mya, this seems like an emotional decision." Mya looked at Ralph, her eyes were swollen and red and her face was soaked, "yes, now take me home!" Ralph sighed, "as you wish." Lex reached his hand out to grab MYa, "Mya wait!" Before he could Mya and Ralph were gone. Lex was standing there all alone.

Lex was standing there all alone. The wind blew slowly which only made him feel as if he had done something terrible. "What have I done," Lex said out loud to himself in a regrettable manner. Mya had made it home. She was lying in her room, on her bed. She was hugging her knees still crying. "Mya," Ralph said trying to figure out what was wrong. Mya looked up at Ralph surprised to see him, "Ralph, I thought you disappear when I return." "I usually do, to you know take a vacation," Ralph said in a joking manner to try and lighten the mood. Mya nodded, "makes sense."
Ralph sat on the bed next to her, "but you've become my favorite finder and my friend." Mya looked at Ralph with teary eyes, "at least I still have you." Ralph wrapped his arms around Mya, hugging her tightly and comforting her. "Why did you leave," Ralph asked trying to find out what had happened. Mya tilted her head, "what do you mean?" Ralph sighed, "it was obvious you loved it there." Mya gave a sad smile, "ya, I also loved the people but they did want me. Ralph was silent he didn't know what to say to cheer her up, "I'm so sorry Mya, you shouldn't let it get you down though." Tears start running down Mya's face once again, "what else am I supposed to do, the man I loved told me to leave.
After hearing, Mya say that. Ralph stood up with a determined look on his face. He held out his hand for MYa, "I'm going to help you cheer up." Mya looked at Ralph and then to his hand, "how?" Ralph smiled, "I'm pretty sure people in this world call it a movie night?" Mya let out a small laugh and smiled as she took Ralph's hand, "sound fun, let's do it." Back in the other world, Lex is standing in front of the head elf's office all alone not knowing what he'll tell everyone. Lex slowly opens the door and walked inside. Everyone looked at him. Lira was the first to say something, "hey Lex how'd the talk go?" She asked in a cheerful voice. Lex looked to the ground and avoided eye contact. The only way to describe the way he looked was defeated.
Lira looked at Lex's expression, "not good from the looks of it." Mark walked over to Lex and put his hand on Lex's shoulder and smiled, "we understand if you two need some time apart." Rouge was in a mood knowing that this all happened because he mentioned he had feelings for Mya, "I thought I told you both to come back here." Lira glared at Rouge, "Rouge they just need some time apart she's probably still in the center of town." Lira turned her attention to Lex, "we're just waiting for the head elf now, then we'll catch up with Mya."
Lex looked to the ground, "mya…" Mark smiled, "yeah, Mya." Lex sighed, "no, we can't catch up with Mya." Rouge glared at Lex, "why's that Lex, what did you do?" Lex went silent and then told them, "I yelled at her and told her I don't know if I love her anymore." Lira looked at Lex shocked, "that's cold, she probably ran away from you." "That's one word for it.." Lex said quietly. Mark tilted his head confused, "what do you mean?" Lex looked up shamefully, "I also told her that she doesn't belong here and that she should just go home.." Rouge looked at Lex shocked, "She didn't." Lex nodded, "she did, I hurt her so much that she left." Everyone looked at Lex shocked, while Lex looked down ashamed.

Rouge walked over to Lex and glared at him, "are you dumb!" Lira looked shocked still and yelled at Lex, "what's wrong with you Lex!" Lex looked down, "I know I'm an idiot. I loved her and now she's gone all because I was jealous." "Jealous of what," Rouge asked. "Of you!" Lex shouted back at Rouge. Rouge went silent, he knew it was all his fault but didn't think Lex would admit it. Lex went silent for a moment, "you said you had feelings for her, and I was pretty sure she'd choose you." Rouge sighed, "I told you that I wouldn't intervene." Lex looked down ashamed, "I know but it's obvious you two are more compatible."
"So what, she loves you and you just broke her heart," Rouge said in a concerning tone. Lex looked away, "I know I messed up." Mark looked at Lex worried, "you messed up bad." "I know," Lex looked down. Lira looked at Lex with a bit of rage, "alright let's go over this and make sure we know everything." she sighed, "you got jealous and took your anger out on Mya, you probably made her cry on top of making her leave." As Lira kept going she was getting angrier and angrier, "now that you've done that we've lost our only way to stop this damn war, and not to mention our friend!" "I know I'm sorry," Lex replied in a raspy voice.
Rouge infuriated Walked closer to rouge and picked him up by his shirt, "I told you I wouldn't intervene because I knew you were a good guy and could make her happy. But I was wrong, I'm going to find a way to get her back, and when I do you will apologize." Lex nodded while avoiding eye contact, "I understand." Rouge dropped Lex and stormed out of the room. Just then the head elf walked into the room from a different door than the one Rouge just left. Head elf smiled at the group, "hello Lira I heard you wanted to speak with me." The head elf looked around at their gloom or doom faces. She tilted her head in confusion.

Rouge was sitting on a bench in the center of town, he was feeling like everything was his fault."Lex hurt her, and now I can't see her hurt again," Rouge mumbled to himself. "What do I know about how she got here, I know she has a magic genie named Ralph." "is she the only one that can summon him? If not maybe I can summon him and get her to come back to us." "It's worth a shot." Rouge stood up and shouted, "Ralph!" He looked around, "Ralph, are you there?" Rouge looked to the ground. "Ralph please, I want to make Mya feel better she's my friend and Lex is an idiot.
Ralph and Mya were on her living room couch watching a fun family movie and munching on popcorn. Ralph suddenly heard an echoing in his head. It was Rouge yelling for him. Ralph sighed. Mya looked over at him, "what's wrong Ralph?" Mya's eyes were still swollen and teary. Ralph looked at Mya and sighed once again, "Mya, you're my friend and I think of you like a daughter." Mya smiled, "I know, and I think of you like the father I never had." Ralph looked at Mya confused, "but don't you have a father?" Mya looked away slightly, "yes, but I never see him he's usually working or on a business trip. The only interaction I get with him is when he leaves he leaves me money."
Ralph looked at her concerned, "now I see why you don't like this reality." Mya just nodded. "Well anyways I decided I'd ask you since I care about you and don't want to see you hurt again," Ralph told Mya. Mya tilts her head, "ask me what?" Ralph sighed one last time, "I keep hearing an annoying voice of a werewolf named Rouge trying to summon me." Mya looked at Ralph confused once again, "you can hear other people's voices trying to summon you, besides mine?" Ralph nodded, "only if they're My founder's friends." "alright what does he want," Mya asked curiously. Ralph looked away for a moment, "he wants me to bring him to you." Mya nods, "you can do that?" Ralph nodded, "yes I can, he also probably wants to talk you into going back." Mya looked down for a moment then slowly lifted her gaze, "you can bring him." "you sure," Ralph asked trying to verify. Mya nodded, "yes I am." "as you wish," Ralph put his hands together. Rouge is still in the center of town he looked down, "I guess he can't hear me." Just as he said that to himself a blue light surrounded him as he appeared in Mya's living room. "Woah!," Rouge shouts in shock. Mya peeked her head over the couch and stared at him with her swollen eyes.

Rouge looked right back at Mya. His face was droopy it was obvious he was sad to see her in such a way, "Mya…" Mya kept staring at Rouge from behind the couch, "Rouge." Ralph looked at the both of them, "I'll let you two talk," he said right before he vanished. Rouge walked closer to the couch, "I heard what happened." Mya looked away without saying a single word. Rouge sighed, "Lex is an idiot." Mya's eyes looked as if they were made of glass, "he made his feelings very clear." Rouge walked up to the couch and put one hand on the back of it, "that's the thing, when he came back he was very upset because he hurt you and he didn't mean anything he said."
Mya looked at Rouge she looked as if she was about to break, "it still hurt though." Rouge nodded, "I know Mya." Rouge put his hand on Mya's shoulder trying to comfort her, "Lex still has feelings for you, even though he said all those horrible things." Mya looked away, "I don't know if I can still feel the same about him now." Rouge tilts his head, "why's that." "Because if he gets upset he'll just take it out on me again," Mya shouted tears filling in her eyes once again. Rouge looked at Mya's glassy tear-filled eyes, "Lex is usually a lot more cool-headed." Mya looked away, "I know I just need some time." Rouge nodded, "I understand, but just know that everyone misses you." Mya looked up at Rouge, "everyone?" she questioned. "Yes everyone, even Lex," Rouge said with a soft smile.
Mya smiled a small bit realizing that Rouge was trying to make her feel better, "remember when we first met and you were so mean to me." Rouge looked away embarrassed by his previous behavior, "yes I do, why are you bringing this up now." "I thought you were the worst," Mya told Rouge as she looked at him with a smile. Rouge rolled his eyes, "gee thanks." Mya let out a small laugh, "I have a point to this." Rouge looked at Mya in the eyes and was listening to what she had to say with all of his attention. "I thought you were the worst, but then you changed my mind," Mya told Rouge with a big smile on her face. Rouge looked at her with a curious look, "how'd I do that?"
"You went back for me and the book even though you had hurt yourself when I froze time," Mya said with a confident smile. "And how exactly did that change your mind," Rouge asked curiously. Mya gave Rouge a mischievous smile, "when you did that I realized you do care about others, you just don't trust them at first." Rouge stood there silent he was impressed by her observation skills as well as the fact that she somehow figured that out just from him going back for her. "After that moment you were so kind to me," Mya smiled at looked Rouge straight in the eyes. Rouge let out a teary laugh, "well don't you pick up on things fast." Mya nodded and smiled, "I know, I'm very observant." Mya had used a playful tone of voice.
"I still don't understand the relevance of this story," Rouge said still smiling from the conversion. Mya looked at Rouge seriously, "everyone shows how they feel in different ways." "Including Lex," Rouge chimes in. Mya nodded, "Yes, I think I can give him a second chance, but I don't think we should be more than friends after everything that has happened." Rouge smiled at Mya, "I understand." "I knew you would." Mya smiled. "You ready to go back," Rouge asked. Mya nodded and with an energetic voice responded, "you know it!" "Ralph!" Ralph suddenly appears, "let me guess, you want to go back?" Mya nodded and gave a quick, "yes!" Ralph nodded, "okay just remember I'll be here if you need me." Mya smiled as she and Rouge were slowly disappearing in blue light, "I know."

Rouge and Mya suddenly appeared in the center of town, where both of them originally left. Back at the head elf's office the, others are gathered. Lira gives a sad fake smile to the leader, "hello leader." The leader looked around at the depressing atmosphere that was now in her office, "Lira what can I do for you?" Lira looked at the leader with a nervous look, "well I decided to embark on my journey." The leader looked surprised to hear that, "what about the library?" "It has a spell on it remember," Lira reminded her. The leader nodded her head, "yes, I know." "I'm so happy that you want to go out into the world, but you came here for a reason correct?"
Lira nervously smiled, "you always were perceptive, leader." The leader smiled at the timid Lira, "it is one of the traits one needs to have to be a good leader." Lira sighed, "My friends and I need the enchanted book," Lira hastily said. The leader looked at her dumbfounded. "Why do you need such a valuable object?" she asked. Lira looked the leader confidently in the eyes, even though it was fake confidence it still made her look better, "to be honest we're trying to end the war." The leader squinted her eyes, "so what's the plan, are you going to burn the books?" Lira shook her head, "no." "then how do you plan on ending the war," The Leader asked firmly.
Lira sighed, "When I was protecting the library I met my friends." The leader didn't look amused, "your point?" Lira looked at the leader growing more nervous by the second all she wanted to do was run away but she couldn't, "one of them could enter." The leader's face dropped, and she was officially intrigued, "how is that even possible." Lira fidgeted with her hands, "she's a mage from another reality." The leader smiled and looked enthusiastic, "I would love to meet her!" "you can't right now," Lira said nervously. The leader looked around at them all, "does this have something to do with why you all came into my office looking depressed earlier?" They all looked away silently. "I'm afraid so," Lira told the leader while hanging her head down low.
"What happened," The leader needed to know after hearing that they found a mage. Lira sighed and glared at Lex, "she got in a fight with a friend." "Did she run away," the leader asked curiously. Lira nodded, "in a way." she paused for a moment, "but don't worry we have another friend looking for her." "I see." The leader responded in a serious tone. Right as she had ended her sentence Rouge burst through the doors, "I found her," he announced to everyone in the room. Mya walked in right behind him, "I'm sorry for running off." Lira smiled at Mya, "Mya I'm so happy you came back!" Mya smiled back at Lira, "of course I did, you guys are My family." The leader looked at Mya sternly, "so you're the so-called mage?" Mya turned her attention to the leader and slowly clenched her fists, "yes ma'am."

"Prove it," The leader demanded. "Excuse me," Mya asked taken back by the question. The leader pulled a book out of her cabinet and placed it on her desk, "I said prove it." Mya looked at the leader nervously, "how?" The leader pointed at the book that was laying on her desk, "do something to this book." Mya stared at the book, "why?" The leader looked at Mya sternly and bluntly said, "because I don't believe you." Mya looked at the leader and nodded, "alright." Mya nervously approached the book, she didn't know if the last time she used magic was just a fluke or if she should do it again. She slowly put her hands on the book and closed her eyes. Just as she did the book started to glow green.
The book suddenly tumbled into a pile of leaves, "happy," Mya asked irritatedly. The leader looked at the piled shocked, "oh my, she is a mage." Mark chimes in trying to ease the tension, "she's still learning." The leader looked at Mark confused, "what do you mean learning?" Mya sighed, "In my world, I was an ordinary human then when I came here I became a mage." The leader smiled with an impressed looked, "that's incredible!" Mya nodded her head in thanks, "thank you." "So you'll end the war," The leader asked. Mya looked at her confidently, "I'll certainly try my best." The leader let out a small chuckle, "that's all I needed to hear, you may have my enchanted book." Rouge smiled, "thank you for contributing to helping us end the war." The leader smiled, "it's the least I can do to end all this violence."
"How many books do you have now," The leader asked curiously. Mya thought about it for a moment, "with yours, that will make it three." The leader smiled that's incredible only two more left!" Mya nodded. The leader smiled, "I will let you stay in the inn tonight for free." Mark curiously looked at her, "what about the book?" "I will deliver it to you tomorrow morning, but for now you guys need your rest." Lex bowed his head in respect, "thank you ma'am." Lex and mYa made eye contact right after he thanked her. They both swiftly looked away from each other awkwardly. The leader smiled at all of them, "you may leave now." The all were headed towards the door when the leader stopped them for a moment, "actually Lira can you stay behind for a few extra minutes, I need to discuss something with you." Lira nodded, "of course." everyone else left the office.

Lira was standing at the desk directly in front of the leader. The leader smiled gently at Lira, "do you have any idea what I wanted to discuss with you?" Lira shakes her head, "No, but right now I feel like my mother just caught me doing something I'm not supposed to." The leader chuckled a bit then smiled, "no, It's nothing like that." Lira curiously tilts her head, "then what is it?" the leader gives a sweet smile, "it's about the library." Lira smiled reassuring the leader, "don't worry the library is safe, as always." "That's not what I meant," The leader said as she shook her head. Lira tilts her head curiously, "then what did you mean?"
The leader sighs, "your family has guarded the library for generations." "I know, my family has told me all the stories of our ancestors," Lira reassures the leader. "When your mother was alive we were great friends," the leader said to Lira with a sad smile. Lira smiled back, thinking about all the memories she had as a child, "I remember, she used to take me down here when we needed supplies and we always stayed longer than we should have to see you." The leader nodded, "exactly." "your mother wanted more in life than to guard the library." Lira looked surprised to hear this new information, "she did?" "Yes, but unfortunately she never got the chance," The leader's tone told Lira how much she missed her friend.
Lira stood there silent. The leader sighed, "I just want you to know one thing before leaving." Lira tilted her head in curiosity, "and what's that?" The leader looked at Lira with a serious face, "do you want to go on this journey with those so-called friends of yours?" LIra looked upset by the leader's question, "they are my friends!" The leader nodded, "alright but are you willing to die to help them?" Lira stood there silently thinking. "You could always stay here and become my secretary, or something like that. You can have a beautiful life, and maybe a family there's no need to risk your life to go on that adventure." The leader calmly told Lira. Lira looked at The leader with a dull expression, "I need some time."
(Chapter 41)
Lira was slowly walking down the streets of the town, the sun was setting and all of the shadows were stretching across the roads. "Why is she so insistent on me staying here, is that what my mom wanted," Lira thought to herself distraught on which path she should choose. Lira made it to the inn, as she approached the entrance she suddenly stopped in her tracks and looked at the inn. "Do I want a family, or friends that could last a lifetime," Lira asked herself. Lira slowly opened the doors and walked into the inn. As if on cue Mya quickly turned around and spotted Lira, "Lira!" Mya shouted so loudly the whole town could probably hear it. Lira walked up to Mya, "Mya.." Lira had a bitter-sweet smile on her face.
Mya tilted her head noticing that her friend looked sad, "what's wrong, did the leader say something mean to you?" LIra smiled at Mya noticing how protective her friend suddenly got, "no, I'm just tired." Mya smiled softly, "oh, you should get some rest then, we already bought the rooms." "what rooms did we get?" Mya suddenly looked at the keys to see the number on them, "you and I will be sharing room 57 and the boys will be sharing room 58." Lira looked confused, "we're sharing a room?" Mya looked up from the keys, "is that a problem?" Lira shook her head, "not at all, I'm happy to share a room with my best friend." "best friend," Mya stared at Lira. Lira's face turned pale, "oh do you not think of me like that, I'm sorry!" Mya shook her head and waved her hands, "no, that's not it!" Mya looked down, "it's just in My reality no one ever referred to me as their best friend."
Lira quickly grabbed both of Mya's hands, "well we're best friends." Mya smiled with teary eyes, "yes, yes we are." Lira smiled then quickly after she yawned, "well I'm going to bed now." Mya smiled and handed Lira an extra key, "alright, I'll see you later." "Oh ya, Mya do you mind feeding Ero?" Lira asked curiously. Mya tilted her head, "what does he eat?" Lira smiled, "there should be a big bucked of hay where we landed." Mya nodded, "alright I'll take care of it." Lira bows her head in thanks, "thank you, Mya." Mya smiled as Lira turned around and headed to their room.
Right as Lira was leaving the boys entered the lobby. "I see Lira is back," Mark said with an excited smile. Mya nodded, "ya she was acting kinda strange though." Mark tilted his head curious about what Mya meant, "what do you mean?" "I don't know, she was acting like something was bothering her." Mark looked surprised, "I hope she's ok." Mya nodded, "me too." "You look like you're on your way out," Rouge added changing the subject. Mya nodded, "I am." Lex chipped in, "where are you going." Mya stared at Lex blankly for a moment then quietly answered his question, "I'm going to feed Ero." Rouge smiled, "well have fun." Mya smiled back at Rouge, "thanks." MYa then smiled at them and walked away.

Lex looked over to mark, his face was sad, "is she still mad at me?" "Can you blame her," Mark quickly replied? Lex shook his head, "no, I can't" "I did say awful things to her, I would be mad at me too." Rouge rolled his eyes annoyed with Lex's self-pity, "Lucky for you she isn't mad at you." "How'd you know," Lex questioned. "Because I went to get get her back." Lex sighed, "you talked about me didn't you." Rouge nodded, "yes, we did." "Well, what did she say," Lex impatiently asked. "Well she said she isn't mad at you, but what you said hurt her a lot," Rouge replied in a still annoyed tone. Lex looked down, "I didn't mean any of it." Rouge nodded, "she knows that." "Then why is she acting weird," Lex quickly cut Rouge off.
"Most likely because she doesn't know how to feel around you now," Rouge told Lex. Lex quickly made assumptions, "it's because I told her I didn't know if I loved her anymore, isn't it!" Rouge shrugs, "maybe, I don't know I'm not her." Lex had a determined look in his eyes, "I'll make my feelings clear to her then." Rouge looked at Lex, "no, you won't." "Excuse me but I can do whatever I want," Lex shouted like a toddler throwing a fit. Rouge shook his head, "she needs time to figure out how she feels about you." "NO, she needs me to tell her that I love her," Lex shouts back at Rouge. "You need to give her time to herself," Rouge told lex trying to get him to leave Mya alone. "I did give her time!" Lex shouted.
Rouge grabbed Lex's arm semi tightly, "I won't let you hurt her again." Mark looked at them both and started to wave his hands around frantically, "guys, I think we should all calm down." Lex's face turned into a smirk, he looked like he had lost his mind for a moment, "oh, I know what this is about, you want to slide in and take her from me!" Mark trying to ease the tension butted in again, "let's all take a deep breath, in and out." Rouge glared at Lex, "yes, I love her I told you, you could have her because you'd treat her well." Lex glared back, "now what's changed." "you hurt her and I won't let you do it again," Rouge replied with a deadly glare. "How noble of you," Lex sarcastically replied.
"Take deep breaths guys," Mark said, trying to calm them down. Both of them shouted at the same time, "Shut up Mark!" Mark flinched, regretting butting in. Lex turned his attention back to Rouge, "you can't stop me!" Lex walked out and slammed the door. "Oh yes I can," rouge said irritatedly as he followed Lex. Mya was in the field petting Ero as he was eating his hay, "you're so soft ero." Mya said smiling. Lex came running towards Mya, "Mya I have something to tell you!" Rouge was running shortly behind him, "No I have something to tell you!" They both stopped in front of Mya, sweating and catching their breath. They were acting as if they had just run a marathon. Mya looked at the boys confused, "what did you need to tell me so badly that you both ran all the way here." Both of them scream at the same time, "Mya I love you!" Both of them were now just waiting for a response. Both of their faces were a shade of deep red. Mya looked at them both dumbfounded. A man in a black hood was watching them through a crystal ball. The man in the hood smiled, "they have three books but will this cause a rift in their mission? He laughs maniacally.

The hooded man's face looked irritated, "if this rift causes an issue collecting the books, that'll be bad for me." The hooded man looked intensely at the crystal ball showing the three talking, "I'll wait and see how this plays out, if it doesn't get in my way I won't interfere." Mya was still looking at the boys surprised with the information she had just heard, "I think I need some time to think about this." Mya stared at the ground blankly not knowing what to do. Rouge nodded, "I understand, take as much time as you need." Lex trying to win mya back makes a dig at Rouge, "just remember Mya I'm warm and nice and he's a cold jerk." Mya walked away from the boys leaving them at the field as she headed back to the inn.
Rouge looked at Lex and sighed, "we can only give her time now." Lex rolled his eyes, "yeah, whatever." Rouge looked at the ground, "we should've given her space." Lex scuffs at the comment Rouge made, "that doesn't matter she should be jumping at the chance to be with me." Rouge looked over at Lex with a stink eye, "and why's that." Lex puffs out his chest like he had done something incredible, "because she loves me." "You don't know how she feels," Rouge pointed out to Lex. Lex sparked, "I know how she feels, she told me she loved me when I was being mean to her." Rouge sighed, "and you hurt her." "But she should've forgiven me," Lex quickly pointed out. Rouge sighed at Lex's stupidity, "Lex, you've never had a female friend, let alone a girlfriend." "and," Lex asked.
"If you hurt them, their feelings can sway," Rouge informs him. Lex glared at Rouge, too full of himself to believe it, "why would it." "Because you hurt her," Rouge told him once again but this time in an irritated tone." Lex stood there silent. Rouge sighed, "Women are complicated when it comes to affairs of the heart." "You sound like an old man," Lex so rudely interrupts. "I have experience," Rouge told him. Lex was silent for a moment, then decided to finally speak up, "what do we do now?" "We wait and see," Rouge said with a calm voice. "I have a feeling she's going to pick neither of us," Lex nervously replied. Rouge nodded, "that is a possibility." "But whatever she chooses, we must respect that choice." Lex looked at Rouge curiously, "so we can remain on good terms," Lex asked. Rouge nodded once again, "Yes, we both care for her and want her to stay in our lives, so this is the best course of action." "Let's head back and wait for her answer in the morning," Lex suggests. Rouge smiled, "that's a good idea, that'll give her plenty of time to think." They both walk back to the inn together anxiously awaiting Mya's reply.

Mya stopped on her way to the inn, she stopped at a pond. There was a bridge that overlooked it along with cherry blossom trees surrounding the pond. The peddles from the tree wooshed into the pond, the peddles made a beautiful aroma. Mya stared at the beautiful pond, she couldn't help but feel upset. Her whole face showed how upset she was. Mya slowly kneeled in front of the pond and stared at her reflection in the water, "what am I doing." Mya dipped her hand into the water, making her reflection wavy, "they both love me, I've been waiting for Lex to say those words to me since I got back."
Mya was silent as she stared at herself in the lake and how sad she had looked, "he hurt me, and I don't know if I can take that whenever he gets upset. Plus he tried to put Rouge down after they told me they loved me." MYa picked up a flower that had fallen off the tree into the pond. She had looked at the dripping flower in her hand, "but on the other hand, Rouge was so cold to me when I first met him. But he came for me when we were at the werewolf's territory and Lex didn't even do that, plus he tried to find me when I went home."
Mya sighed as she closed her eyes and tilted her head up. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the starry sky, "Rouge is sweet, but cold when she needs to be. He just learned how to trust" Mya paused for a moment, "on the other hand Lex is immature, self-centered, but he's sweet like candy." Mya throws her back to the ground, "I don't know what to do. I care about both of them." Mya let out a big sigh, "I'll just remain friends with them until I conclude. I should talk to LIra about this in the morning and get her opinion. We are best friends after all." Mya smiled thinking about how she had a best friend. "Yep sounds like a plan," Mya said while dropping the flower back into the pond. MYa slowly got up and started walking to the inn, this time without stopping.

Once the morning came Mya was sleeping soundly in her bed. She was peacefully in dreamland and nothing could disturb her. "Mya wakes up," Lira was standing over Mya's bed with her arms crossed, "it's time to go." "Five more minutes," Mya mumbles without opening an eye. Lira sighed, "No we need to go and get the book, now." Mya opened her eyes, she had huge bags under her eyes., "why now?" Mya asked as she rubbed her eyes. Lira rolled her eyes and acted like she was explaining something to a toddler, "because, the leader has a tight schedule and this was the only time she could fit us in." Mya was still rubbing her eyes, "fine."
LIra looked at Mya from the corner of her eye, "you are not a morning person." Mya looked at Lira with a grouchy look, "what gave you that idea." Lira smiled as she put clothes on the back of a chair, "hurry up and get ready we're all waiting for you downstairs." Mya groans in protest, "fine, I'll hurry up." Lira left the room and shut the door quietly behind her. Mya walked over to the chair and picked up the item of clothing. It was a black dress that came down to mid-thigh length, it had a blue ribbon on the color and a vest with buttons alongside it. The dress had frills at the bottom. On the chair lay, a pair of thigh-high socks, they were black with a blue line at the top. Sitting on the ground next to the chair was a pair of combat boots. "You've got to be kidding me," Mya said to herself annoyed.
Mya was staring at herself in the mirror. She was wearing the outfit that Lira had picked out for her, she had her hair up in a messy bun with a curl coming down on each side of her face. "Well I look nice," Mya said out loud flattering herself. "I wouldn't say it's a good outfit for fighting though." Mya walked over to the small bag that was holding all of the books. She puts a pair of black shorts and a black tank top with some sneakers in the bag. "Just in case." Mya picked up the bag and headed down to the lobby where everyone was waiting for her. Mya walked into the room and everyone turned their attention to her as if she was a celebrity. "I'm ready, let's go get that book."
Lira smiled at Mya, "you look lovely Mya." Mya smiled and looked down at her outfit, "It's not my style but it is nice." Mark had a big goofy smile on his face, "you look gorgeous." Mya let out a small laugh, "Le's go get the book before it's too late." Both Rouge and Lex stare at Mya blushing. Lira's face lights up, "oh right, the book." all of them walked over to the leader's office and were waiting for her. The leader walked out holding the book, "I hope you've all rested up." Lira smiled, "yes, we have." Mya smiled kindly at the leader, "thank you for letting us stay here." "It's no problem, any friend of Lira's is a friend of mine," The leader replied with a kind smile right back. Lex interrupted this touching conversation, "so about the book." "Oh yes," the leader remembered as Lex mentioned it. The leader holds the book ou to them, "now you will have the enchanted book of air." Mya carefully gabbed the book.
Mya was holding the book in her arms, "again, thank you so much." The leader's face turned serious, "end this war and the violence that comes with it." Rouge nodded with a determined look in his eyes, "we will." "One more thing," the leader looked at Lira, "Lira have you thought about my offer." the group all turned their attention to Lira. Lira nodded, "I have." "And what is your answer," the leader asked. Lira smiled, "I'm staying with my friends and ending this war." "I know I can't stop you I can only wish you luck," the leader sighed in protest. Lira smiled, "thank you." The leader looked at them all, "and please try not to get yourselves killed."Mark gave his cheerful smile that could brighten up the darkest of rooms, "we won't, and don't worry we'll protect Lira!" The leader lets out a small giggle, "I'll hold you to it."Everyone had gotten back on Ero and was ready to go to get the next book, they were now one step closer to ending the war. "Let's go Ero," Lira said with a smile. "Where to next," Mark asked." Mya had taken out the map and pointed to a spot not too far from where they were, "Next stop Neko territory."

They were all souring through the sky on Ero's back. Mark looked at Mya with a smile and a suggestion, "Mya, you should start studying the elements of the enchanted books." Mya smiled with a nervous look, "I probably should start since we already have three of the books." "I would start with air since we're in the sky," Lira suggested. Mya grabbed her bac=g and went through it. She pulled out the enchanted book of air, opened it up, and started reading it. Lex looked at Mya with a sad nervous expression, "Hey Mya can we talk about what happened last night." Mya jolted her head up, her face a bright red, "hey Lira can you help me study." she asked trying to avoid the conversation that was bound to happen sooner or later. Lira looked at Mya confused, "uh sure?"
Rouge and Lex both looked at each other. "She's avoiding us," Rouge told Lex. Lex looked nervous, "she probably still doesn't know what she should do." "But she still shouldn't avoid us," Rouge chimed in. "I know," Lex said with a sad look in his eye. Lira looked at Mya confused, "what was that all about?" "What was what all about," Mya replied avoiding the topic. Lira gave Mya a look only best friends knew, "are we going to pretend I didn't just see that." Mya sighed, "I know you saw, I'm just trying to avoid them." Lira tilted her head confused, "why, we're all your friends?" "I know and I love you all." Lira raised her eyebrows up and down, "especially Lex, huh?"
Mya sighed, "that's the thing, I don't know if I do anymore." "Why not?" Mya looked down like she felt helpless, "because he hurt me, he told me he doesn't love me anymore, plus he told me I don't belong here." Lira put her hand on the back of her head with an awkward expression, "I can see how that may be a deal breaker." Mya sighed once more, "I still care about him and he's still a kind person." "But?" "But, I don't want him lashing out at me like that every time he gets upset or jealous." Lira nodded, "I understand, but that is ultimately your choice." Mya looked down, "I know I just need more time to think about it." "Well just think about it while we're trying to get the book," Lira paused for a moment before saying one last thing, "because we're here."

Ero slowly lands in a forest with trees as far as anyone could see. "So how are we going to get the book," Mya asked curiously. Lira fidgets with her hair anxiously, "well, Neko's are like werewolves except more underhanded and sneaky." "Sounds delightful," mark sarcastically chipped in. Lex sighed, "we might just have to steal it." Lira looked surprised that he'd even bring up an idea like that, "that's a bad idea." "Why," Rouge asked. Lira sighed, "because, they pride themselves in their tracking skills." "Oh." everyone said at once. "I suggest we talk to their leader," Lira was still fidgeting with her hair.
Rouge took a deep breath out, "worst-case scenario, we steal it." Lira looked uncomfortable with the conversation, lucky for us we have Ero, it's hard to track him since he can fly." Mya let out a nervous laugh, "that is lucky." there was silence for a moment before Mya broke it, "so what should we say when we meet them." Lira still fidgeting with her hair, "something along the lines of, we need your enchanted book to save the world and end this war." Mark looked at Lira with an excited look on his face, his eyes had stars in them, "that sounds so noble!" Lira put her hand on Mark's head, "thank you, Mark, you are so adorable." Mark looked down confused for a minute and mumbled, "adorable…" Then he looked up with a big smile, "Okay!" Mya let out a small laugh, "never change mark."
"Don't pick on him," Lex said in a silly tone. Lira smiled and patted Mark's head, "we aren't, he's like a puppy." Mark smiled with an accomplished look on his face, "I'm the cutest puppy!" "See," Mya said gesturing to mark. Rouge laughed a bit, "how'd we go from talking about the enchanted book to, talking about how adorable Mark is?" Mya shrugged. Rouge smiled, "let's just get the book." "Okay, Mr. sour pants," Mya said with a flirtatious smile on her face. Rouge blushed a bit, then he put his face 2 inches away from Mya's, "I have to be a little bit sour for us to stay on task," Rouge smiled with a mischievous grin. Mya's face turned red as she quickly took away, "why do you enjoy teasing me so much." Lex watched to two of them interact in a flirtatious manner and got jealous.
Lex grabbed Mya by her waist and pulled her close to him, as he put his face even closer to hers than Rouges was, "I can be sour too." MYa's face turned even redder than before. For a moment she looked as if she was about to pass out. "Stop flirting with Mya, we need to get going," Lira broke the tension and the moment all at once. Lex let's go on Mya. Just as he did Mya fell to the floor, "ow." Lex turns to Mya quickly, "ah, Mya I'm so sorry!" "It's fine," Mya smiled up at him. All of them slowly get off Ero leaving him in the field, they all make their way to Neko's territory. To get there they needed to cross through a dark forest. Mya looked up in the trees and noticed people wearing black outfits and masks with cat ears. "Who are they," Mya asked. Lira turns to look at Mya, "who?" The people in the trees all point a gun at them. Then suddenly a rope shot out of the guns leaving all of them tied up on the ground. The people in the trees came down to the ground. "Who are you," Mya asked. Before she knew what was going on they knocked her and the others out.

Mya slowly opened her eyes. She could barely make out anything around her, everything was blurry. All she could tell is that it was dark. As Mya woke up some more her vision started to return. She could tell that she was sitting in a dark cell. Mya's eyes widen as she quickly sits up, "Where are we," Mya asked stumbling over her words. Mya was the last to have woken up. Everyone looked at her with a look of despair. "Good question, none of us know," Lex told Mya while looking at the ground. Mark sighed, "last thing I remember is getting tied up." Mya's face lit up like a light bulb, "I remember seeing people dressed in all black up in the trees if that's of any help." Lira's eyes widen, "oh my god, I know what happened." Everyone leaned in close to Lira to find out what had happened to them.
"The Neko tribe has something called the elite," Lira explains. Rouge tilted his head in confusion, "and what does that have to do with us?" Lira sighed, annoyed with how uneducated they were on the different tribes, "they are warriors that detect intruders and capture them for questioning." Mya lets out a nervous laugh, "I guess we know what happened." Lex sighed and tried to make light out of the situation, "at least this time we aren't getting executed." Lira nodded, "the Neko tribe doesn't believe in execution." Mark smiled, "well that's good for us it gives up time to figure out how to escape." "If we escape," Lira adds. Rouge looked at her confused, "what do you mean by that?" Lira looked annoyed with their incompetence, "are you telling me that I lived my whole life in solitude and still know more about history than you." All the boys nod their heads, "yes."
Lira sighed angrily, "well since none of you paid attention in history class I guess I'll have to tell you." Lira paused for a moment before continuing, "during the war the Neko tribe originally didn't want to fight their friends. But after a while of their friends not listening to their pleas for peace, and slattering their tribe, they got sick of it. They created a program to train Neko at a young age to fight and capture anyone. Ever since that, no one has ever gotten passed them." Mya looked down sad, "that's horrible, we must end this war." Lira nodded, "exactly, but that involves the Neko's cooperation." "We just need to be honest during the questioning, then ask them to free us," Mya suggested with a cheerful smile.
"Easier said than done," Lex added in despair. Mya smiled sadly, "I know but it's the best shot we got." "I say we do it!" Mark added backing Mya up. Lira nodded, "I agree." Rouge smiled a tiny bit, "it's worth a shot." Lex sighed, knowing he was overruled, "fine, let's do it." The man in the hood watches them once again through his crystal ball, "it seems they can accomplish anything together, but this may be a tricky one to get out of." A smaller man wearing a black cape and hood behind him chimed in, "may I suggest giving them some help, my lord?" The hooded man quickly turned to face the young man in the cloak, "Shut your mouth you pest, this is up to them and them alone! But I am quite sure they will overcome this obstacle." The man in the cloak flinched, as the hooded man turned back around to look at the crystal ball, and slowly a creepy smile formed on his face. The smile turned into a laugh. The laugh was one of the creepiest laughs anyone will ever hear.

As they were sitting in the cell a Neko woman dressed in all black came. She stared at them through the bars of the cell, "I will question you now." The woman had a stern face and lovely scarlet eyes, she had blue hair in a ponytail that contrasted her eyes nicely. "How does this work, do you take us one by or," Mya asked. before getting interrupted by the woman, "Silence, I'm the one that asks questions here." "alright geez," Mya is taken back by her attitude. "Why did you enter our territory," The woman started her questioning. Lex promptly answered, "we wanted to speak to your leader." The woman's face turned angry, "you will not be permitted to speak to our queen." "So you call her your queen?" Lira asked. The woman hesitantly answered, "yes." She paused for a moment and glared before continuing, "next question, why did you want to speak with the queen?"
Rouge answered the next question, "we're on a journey and we need something to complete our mission." The woman put her hand on her chin, "so you wanted to ask the queen for it." Mark nodded, "correct." "What do you need," The woman curiously asked. Mya looked at them and hesitated for a moment then turned her attention back to the woman, "your enchanted book." The woman looked at them all blankly, as she started laughing hysterically, "that's the funniest thing I've heard from a prisoner." Lex interrupts her hysterical moment, "we weren't joking." The woman looked back at them blankly, as she wipes her eyes from laughing so hard, "you must be crazy if you think anyone would give you their enchanted book." "what is your mission anyways," she asked." Mya looked at her with a determined look, "we're trying to end this war." The woman nodded understandingly, "it's a noble cause, but how do you expect to end it?" "by destroying the books," Lira told her. The woman walked over to the door that they could see from their cell, "you're all crazy, I will report this to my queen and we'll decide to let you go or not." The woman swung the door open and left.
(Chapter 50)
The woman kneeled in front of another Neko woman. She had long curly pink hair that came down to her waist, golden eyes like stars, and her dress looked like it was taken right out of a fairytale. "My queen, I questioned the intruders," The woman told the queen while kneeling. The queen looked down at her like an insect, "and what did they say." They were talking but didn't know that the queen's daughter was listening in. she was standing behind a pillar. She had purple hair and pink eyes, her hair was just as curly as the queens. The woman answered the queen's question, "they wanted your enchanted book."
"Are they insane," The queen asked. The woman nodded, "I think so, they want to end the war." upon hearing this news the princess's face lit up. She left from behind the pillar and ran down the hall away from her mother. The queen let out a small laugh, " I'll tell you what, they'll never get my book." The woman nodded, "I know that my queen." The queen sighed, "keep them locked away they're crazy." The queen's expression turned sad, "everyone knows that no one can end the war after the mages died." The woman nodded sadly, "I'll inform the prisoners, my queen." Lex was biting his nail anxiously awaiting their fate, "Well that went well." "they think we're crazy," Rouge pitched in. Lira shook her head, "I doubt they're going to let us go." Mark tilted his head confused, "why wouldn't they." Lira sighed, "because they think we're a bunch of crazies that could be dangerous, and might steal their book."
Mark looked worried, "oh, that's not good." Lira shook her head once again, "no, It's not." Mya smiled trying to lighten the mood, "well, worst case scenario I can get us out of here." Rouge looked at Mya confused, "how?" "I'm a mage remember," Mya informs him. Mya smiled, "I can just turn the chains to leaves." "what about the bars though," Lex asked. Mya thought for a minute, "I could blow it down with air?" Mya said while shrugging Lex looked down, "yeah that won't work." "what spells do you know Mya," Mark asked. "Well, I can freeze time, turn things to leaves which is all I can do in the earth category, and I can do anything with air." Mya replied as she hovered her hands on top of each other making a ball of air, "see." Lex's face palms his hand, "we're doomed."
(Chapter 51)
The princess was digging through a drawer in a desk. The room was her mother's office. She was forbidden from entering. But she did anyways. She eventually found what she was looking for, she carefully pulled it out of the drawer. It was the enchanted book of water. As the princess stared at the book she thought to herself, "I shouldn't take my mother's book, she'll be mad at me." She paused for a moment while having an internal debate, "but it's not like my mother notices anything I do, she just ignores me. Plus if the prisoners are trying to end the war I want to help. But what if it's an excuse and they want more violence? I'll just question them and ask them how they're going to end the war." The princess finally figured out what she wanted to do. She took the book into her arms and ran out of the room with it.
Lira sighed, "Lex don't be so negative." Lex huffs in protest, "well what do you expect me to be right now?" "We'll be fine we just need to have some hope," Mark says trying to cheer everyone up. Lex raises his voice to almost screaming, "Hope? We're stuck in a cell, Mya is practically useless, and we'll probably be stuck here forever!" Mya looked down after hearing Lex's rant. She put her head on her knees. Rouge notices Mya's body language and gets upset for her, "Lex, that was too far." Lex snapped at Rouge, "so what she hasn't even told us which one she likes yet." Rouge sighed, "I told you to respect whatever she chooses." "But she hasn't chosen anyone yet!" Lex shouted. Rouge glared, "she needs time."
Mark looked at everyone with tears in his eyes, "everyone please calm down." His voice trembling, but he still wanted to be the piece maker. Lira looked concerned, "Mya I wish I could give you a hug." Mya overwhelmed by all of the yelling tunes everyone out until she breaks, " Fine if you want me to choose I'll choose!" Rouge turned to Mya concerned, "Mya, you don't have to." "choose Mya," Lex pressures. Mya glared as she shouted, "I choose Rouge because he doesn't call me useless when he gets stressed or mad!" Lex looked down in silence.
The whole room went silent with him. "Thank you, Mya," Rouge said in a low tone. Mya nodded. The door suddenly opened, and in came the Neko woman. "What happened here," she asked noticing the tension. "A fight," Lira told her. "Well, you'll have a lot more time to fight since you'll be spending the rest of your lives here," The woman told them in a cold tone. They all looked down silent and depressed. "Enjoy your stay." The woman told them as she left. Suddenly the princess was in front of their cell, they have no idea how she snuck in. although when they saw her she put her finger on her lips, "shhh." they all looked at her confused.
(Chapter 52)
The princess was looking around to see if there was anyone. After a few minutes of looking, she let out a deep sigh of relief, "she's gone." Lira tilted her head curiously, "who are you?" The princess smiled confidently, "My name is Cara, I'm the one who will free you." Mya looked just as confused as everyone else, "but the woman in black said we'll be here forever." Cara let out a small nervous laugh, "well, they don't exactly know I'm here." "Also they don't know that I stole this," Cara told them as she showed them the enchanted book of water. Lex looked at her intrigued, "how'd you get that?" Cara smiled mischievously, "well, being the princess comes with a few advantages." Mark's eyes light up, "you're the princess!"
Cara smiled, "yes, and I better get you out of here before anyone notices the book is gone." Mya smiled back at Cara, "thank you." Cara went into their cell and unlocked all of their cuffs, "there's a ton of guards in this palace, lucky for you I know a way out." "I have a bad feeling about this," Lex replies squeamishly. Cara smiled with an evil glare, "It's harmless." "basically?" Lex questions. "Yes, well it's time to get going." Cara said as she poked her head out of the cell and looked both ways, "It's clear."They all ran across following Cara's lead. They even ran past two guards, the guards didn't even notice. They stopped at the end of the dungeon. There was a huge door that stood in front of them. "This place seems kind of scary," Mya said as chills run down her spine. Cara gave them that evil smile once again, "that's why it's the perfect place to escape." "No one goes near this exit." Mya looked intriguingly at the giant door, "what's inside?"
Cara smiled softly for once, "a beast that keeps prisoners from escaping." Lira seemed shocked, "how do you expect us to get through it!?" Cara smiled kindly, she was trying to wash their worries away, "I grew up here, remember? When I was little I wandered into this room by accident, and the beast took a liking to me. I've visited him regularly since." "I trust you to get us out of here," Mark said with teary eyes, trembling. Lex glared, "well I don't" Mya sighed and rolled her eyes, "so you want to be stuck here forever, alone?" "Who said I'm going to be alone?" Lex asked. They all look at him. Lex throws his hands in the air then back to his sides, "oh come on you all trust her!?" Mya nods, "yes, we do." Lex huffs, "fine I'll go, but not because I don't want to be alone." "Whatever you say lex," Mya replies sarcastically. "If you two are done babbling, let's get going," Cara said passive-aggressively.

They all enter the room, Cara just casually walked through. Everyone else followed her sneakily. The beast looked directly at them. He had three heads a lion, a wolf, and a bear. He had the body of a lion, with angel wings and a dragon tail. As They lay eyes on the beast, they all stand there terrified. Cara just smiled at the beast. "That's not any beast I've seen before," Mya said shocked to move. Lira just as surprised at Mya was, "Me neither." Cara smiled, "their species are unique to the Neko catacombs." Cars walked up to the beast and put her hand up, "hey Rex!" The beast looked down at her and stuck all of his 3 tongues out as he laid down for Cara to pet him. Cara pets Rex like you would pet a dog. "You named him Rex?" Mya asked
"Well, I've never had a dog before, so he's like my pet," Cara explained. Lira nodded, "alright, let's go." Cara looked at the group, "we're bringing Rex with us." "excuse me, I think I heard you wrong, for a second there I thought you said we're," Lex said in a passive-aggressive manner. "I did," Cara clarified. Lex glared, "you're not coming." Rouge leaned over to Mya and whispered in her ear, "is that how I used to act?" "Pretty much," Mya whispered back. Cara glared right back at Lex, "I am coming and that's final unless you want me to send Rex on you." Cara threatened as she grabbed Lex by his shirt. Mark smiled at Cara, "we're all fine with her joining." Lira nodded, "yeah, are you still hurt you got rejected, Lex? You know it's not nice to take your frustrations out on someone else." Cara looked at Lex, "you just got rejected?"
Lex looked away, "that's none of your concern." "Mya chose Rouge over Lex," Mark chipped in. Cara looked at Lex with an angered look, "well that's completely your fault if you put her in that situation." "He did, and I completely agree with you," Lira said with a nod. Cara sighed, "anyways, we've spent too much time here, we need to get going and we're taking Rex." Lex shakes his head, "oh no we're not." Everyone practically dragged Lex on Rex. They all ride Rex out of there. Lex had tears in his eyes, "I did not agree to this!" Lira laughed, "oh stop being a baby." Mark hugged Rex, "even I'm not scared, Rex is a big teddy bear!"
Mya huffed at Lex, "Lex, you need to get ahold of yourself." "I'm fine Mya," Lex huffed back! "That's what they all say," Mya replied sarcastically with a laugh. "Wanna fight!" Lex shouted. Mya smiled, "if that'll make you feel better." Rouge glared at them, "both of you knock it off, and Lex, get ahold of yourself." "I'm fine!"Lex shouts once again as if they haven't heard him the first time. Rouge sighed, "if you say so." Rex stopped in the forest right in front of Ero. Ero is tied to the ground. The hooded man watches them through his crystal ball once more, "I knew they would make it out." The man in the cloak behind him smiled, "and now they have four books!" The hooded man glared, "shut it!" "yes sir!" he shrimps up. "Now they will bring the books right to me." he started laughing maniacally.

After Lira saw Ero on the ground she jumped off Rex. She ran over to Ero, who was laying on the ground. Lira had tears in her eyes, "why would they just leave him like this?" Cara looked as after seeing how upset Lira was, "they don't care about animals, that's probably why I never got a pet." Mark and Mya hopped off Rex and ran over to Ero. So they could help untie him. They managed to untie him within seconds. Ero slowly sands up. Lira looked up at Ero deeply concerned, "Ero are you hungry." she paused for a moment, "what and I saying of course you are." Lira grabs a huge amount of hay out of Ero's bag and lays it in front of him. Ero immediately started to eat. Mya turned her attention to Cara, "Cara, I was wondering why you wanted to join us?" Cara smiled, "well I heard my mother talking about how you wanted to end the war."
"You don't think we're crazy," Lex questioned. Cara shook her head, "no, but I did forget to ask you how you're going to end it." "I'm a mage," Mya answered. Cara started laughing, "nice joke, but seriously." "she wasn't joking," mark said shyly. Mya looked at Cara to read her expression, "do you need proof?" "I think I just might," Cara answered. Mya nodded, "alright." Mya reaches her hand out and used air magic to make a leaf float, the leaf did flips in the air. Cara looked at it curiously, "could you do something else, that wasn't convincing enough for me?" Mya sighed as she walked over to a tree and put her hand on it, the tree glowed green as it fell into a pile of leaves. "Woah," Cara said. Mya nodded, "I still have a limited amount of abilities." Rouge nodded with a serious face, "that's why on our way to get the last book, I'm going to make your study and master all of the spells we have access to." Mya looked at Rouge nervously, "you're joking, right?" Rouge looked at her with a serious face, "do I look like I'm joking." "No," Mya said as she looked to the ground.
"Good," Rouge nodded. Cara sighed changing the subject, "I really would like to get out of this dress." Mya pulls the extra outfit she packed out of her bag, "Here." she hands it to Cara. Cara smiled, "thanks, I'm going to change real quick." Cara runs behind a group of trees and bushes. Lex nodded irritatedly, "alright." "Everything is ready for us to leave, we're just waiting on Cara now," Lira told the group. Lex groaned annoyed, "let's just leave without her." "She's one of us now, we're not leaving without her," Mya snapped. Cara walked out, "I'm done." Cara was wearing black jean shorts with a skin-tight black tank top, she also had black sneakers, and her hair was in a high ponytail that looked amazing with her curls. Lex stared at her, his face as red as an apple. Mya notices how Lex was staring at Cara. She realized she was fine with it. "Lex how about you and Cara ride rex to the demon's territory." Mya winked. "Why, I hate riding that thing!" Lex shouted. Rex growled at him. Lex moved away terrified. "Well too bad," Mya replied. Lira smiled, "alright everyone, let's get going. Lira, Mark, Rouge, and Mya all climb on Ero. While Cara and Lex, climb on Rex. Both Ero and Rex get moving after everyone had gotten on. To their final destination. Demon territory.

"Mya, why did you have Lex ride on Rex when you know he hates riding him?" Lira asked curiously. Mya had a mischievous smile, "did you see the way he looked at Cara?" Mark tilted his head in confusion, "he looked at Cara?" Mya nodded, "yes, when she finished changing." Lira put her hand on her chin, "I didn't notice anything strange." "He blushed," Mya said loudly. "You're joking," Lira says intrigued. Mya shook her head, "I'm not. So I'm trying to set them up."Rouge looked confused, "why?" Mya smiled kindly, "so Lex gets back to being normal." Lira looked like she was thinking for a moment, "it's a good strategy." Mya nodded, "plus it'd be nice for Lex to have someone that loved him." Rouge nodded, "true." Mya turned to Lira, "how long is the ride to the demon territory." Lira looked at her map, "about two days."
Mya looked at Lira shocked, "you're joking." Rouge sighed, "Mya, don't look at it as a bad thing." Mya looked down sad, "why, it'll take two more days to end the war." Rouge gave MYa a kind smile, "so, we've been on this adventure for so long, what's two more days?" Mya nodded, "I guess you're right." Rouge went into Mya's bag and pulled out a handful of books and placed them in front of Mya. Mya glared at Rouge, "I hate you." Rouge smiled with an evil glare in his eyes, "love you too." They both turned red realizing what he had said. Mya looked at the books, "I think I'm going to study now." Rouge looked at Mark, "I'm going to talk to Mark." Both of them looked brighter than a tomato.

They flew all through the day, It was now nighttime. Mya was still reading, the bags under her eyes were huge. Everyone around her was sound asleep. Rouge yawned and slowly woke up, "Mya?" Mya looked up from her book, "yes?" "why are you still awake," Rouge asked concerned. Mya smiled in exhaustion, "I realized that I need to study up before we get there." Rouge sat up, "we still have one more day." "I know but." Mya started before Rouge cut her off, "No buts you need your sleep too." Rouge tugged Mya by her arm, pulling her towards him. Rouge laid back down with Mya who was pulled next to him. She was also laying down now. Rouge glared at her, "just sleep." "if you insist." Mya was blushing slightly but too tired to stay conscious. Almost as soon as they stopped talking Mya fell fast asleep.
The sun slowly rose. LIra and Mark were sitting over Rouge and MYa's sleeping body. Lira turned to Mark, "are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Mark nodded, "I'm diffidently seeing what you're seeing." They both looked at each other then back at Mya and Rouge. And as if it were scripted they both said, "so cute!" MYa and Rouge both woke up after hearing about their friends. Lira smiled at them, "morning you two love birds." Mya and Rouge bother looked confused, "love, what?"They both turned to look at each other. Their faces were equally as red as the others. Mya was resting on Rouge's chest and Rouge had his arm around Mya. After they noticed they quickly moved to opposite sides of each other. Mya's face was still extremely red, "I'm so sorry Rouge I don't remember any of this happening!?" Rouge nodded, "I'm sorry as well, I also don't remember!" Lira claps her hands together, "how sweet, even in such a state of exhaustion their hearts yearn for each other." Mark nodded, "It's romantic." Mya and Rouge both looked at them with an angry pause, before they shouted, "Shut up!"

Cara and Lex were riding Rex right below Ero. Cara sighed, "it's been a day, are you calm yet?" Lex is still clingy to Rex for dear life, "no…" Cara sighed as she reached her hand out to him. Lex looked at her hand confused, "what do you want me to do with that?" Cara looked annoyed with Lex, "take my hand, you idiot." Lex looked at her disgusted, "and why would I do that." Cara looked at him even more annoyed and this time slightly angry, "I was trying to make you feel more comfortable on the last day, but if you don't want to take my offer fine!" Lex looked anxious, "no, wait I'm sorry!" Cara put her hand on her ear, "sorry I can't hear you." Lex started to get annoyed now, "I'm sorry." "one more time?" Cara said with an evil grin.
Lex yelled at her in a fit of anger, "I know you heard me so I'm not going to say it again." Cara smiled with a laugh, "ok fine." she reached her hand out to Lex as he grabbed it. Cara pulled him up to where she was, their faces inches away from each other, "you are forgiven." Lex blushed at being pulled this close to her face. Cara smiled still holding Lex's hand, "do you feel better?" Lex nodded, "yes.." Cara smiled, "you're stubborn, you know that." Lex was butt hurt about the comment, "Yeah so what." Cara laughed, "it's fun not having everyone listen to me without a second thought." "That sounds like fun to me," Lex replied. Cara shook her head, "it's not." "and why's that?" Lex asked.
Cara smiled with a sad expression, "because, no one is your real friend." "they're only your friends for the money, or to talk behind your back." Lex looked sad for her, "that sounds lonely." "It was, plus it doesn't help that my mom doesn't even seem to care." "what do you mean," Lex curiously asked. Cara sighed, "My mom cared more about the prisoners and the war than me." Lex looked down sad, "Mark, Rouge, and I are all orphans." "I'm sorry." Lex shook his head, "don't be, by the sound of it, you're pretty much an orphan too." "I suppose." Lex looked down remorseful, "I'm sorry for being mean to you before, I'm not always like that." Cara smiled, "It's alright." "Can we start over as friends?" Lex asked nervously. Cara nodded, "of course."

Rex and Ero were sitting next to each other in a grass field, The group was sitting in the grass. "So what's our strategy this time," Mya questioned. Lex was about to say something but before he could Mya interrupted, "Let me guess, get kidnapped and escape?" "No.." Lex said suspiciously. "What about almost getting executed," Lira adds. Cara looked at her shocked and confused, "wait what happened." Mya laughed a bit, "yeah, you missed a lot, Cara." "seems like it," Cara replied. "I suggest we just steal it," Rouge bluntly said. "I suggest we ask them about it," Lex said nervously. Mya rolled her eyes, "because that worked so well last time." "shut up it's worth a try," Lex snaps at them. "Fine, but the only reason I'm saying this is because Mya mastered all the elements," Rouge added in an irritated tone.
Lex looked at Mya excitedly, "wait really, she did?" Lira nodded, "yeah she's been studying for two days straight." Lex looked surprised, "wow that's a lot." Mya nodded, "let's just say I'm happy to get it over with." Mya looked at Mya with a sad expression. Mya noticed Rouge looking at her, "Rouge is everything alright?" "uh yeah, I'm just really tired," Rouge mumbled. Mya looked concerned but didn't want to pry, "okay, if you say so…" Lira smiled changing the subject, "alright, let's get moving." Mark looked nervous, "I have a bad feeling about this." Lira tilted her head confused, "why?" "Because demons were always known for being the most ruthless species." Mark answered Lex nodded trying to ease Mark's worries, "even if they are, they never killed anyone before the war." Mark was silent for a moment, "I guess you're right, that was the human's fault." Lex smiled, "I'm sure they'll be eliminating." "I'm not so sure about that," Rouge added. Lira sighed, "Let's stop bickering and get moving." "fine," They all said nervously. They all start walking towards their final destination.

The group was standing at a tall iron gate. The kingdom was beautiful. It was full of marble, iron, stone, and wood, there were fountains all around. Lira smiled taking in the scenery, "wow this place is beautiful." Rouge looked around suspiciously, "one problem though." "and what's that?" Lira asked curiously what his, problem was." "where is everyone," he said. His comment made everyone notice and take a look around. "You're right," Lex said nervously. The man in the hood was watching them through the crystal ball, "yes, they practically delivered the books to me." The man in the cloak was standing behind him as usual, "that's good, right sir?" The man in the hood glared at him, "of course, it's good you idiot!"
The hooded man smiled crookedly, "with all the books I alone can now rule the world, and take out any pest that gets in my way!" The man in the cloak inched forward, "but sir, you don't have to kill anyone if you have all the power."The man in the hood was laughing maniacally, "but I want to, just like how I got rid of those pesky mages." The man in the cloak looked shocked, "that was you?" The hooded man smiled once more, "of course they were too powerful." The man in the cloak bowed slightly, "I'll take my leave now sir." "Whatever just get out of my sight," the hooded man shouted at him.
Mya looked around, "shouldn't there be people here?" Demon guards came up behind them and put handcuffs on them all. "Not when we hear someone's going to intrude," The guard said sternly. Mya looked at the guard shocked, "we weren't trying to!" The guard rolled his eyes, "of course you weren't." Mark looked at them as if he was about to break down into tears, "we just wanted to speak to your leader." The guard that was holding Lex's handcuffs replied to Mark, "lucky for you, you'll be able to."The guards walk them into the places, they were on tight surveillance walking in. The inside of the palace was beautiful, it was covered in metal and dark wood. As they were walking they suddenly stopped in front of two huge dark wood doors, the doors slowly opened as they walked inside. A man was sitting in a chair with his legs crossed, he was wearing a royal purple outfit with a cape. His hair was black and in a long ponytail, and his eyes were the color of rubies.
The guards threw them down at the king's feet. Right as they did they all kneeled before the king. "We have brought the intruders to you my lord," The guard said without making eye contact. The lord smiled, "thank you, you may now be excused." The guard looked up concerned, "but sir I can't just leave you with these intruders, we know nothing about them?!" The lord smiled once again, "thank you for trying to keep me safe, but I don't sense any bad intentions from these six individuals." The guard sighed, "if you insist my lord." The guards get up with a bow and leave the room. "So why is it that you young children came to see me?" He asked. Mya got up the courage to be the first to speak, "we wanted to ask you for your enchanted book." The Lord looked at them sternly, "and why's that?" "Because we want to destroy it," Mya provided. The work laughed, "and how do you expect to do that, all the mages went extinct." Lira nodded, "I know but our friend Mya is a mage."
The lord looked surprised, "wow, now that's not something you hear every day." Lira bowed her head in respect, "so will you help us by giving us your book?" The lord smiled, "yes, I will." everyone looked at each other with a huge smiles on their faces. "But you'll have to wait till tomorrow, will that be okay," The lord added. Mya tilted her head confused, "why tomorrow?" "I'm a busy man." The Lord said with a laugh. "Of course," Mya replied. The lord smiled, "come tomorrow at 2:00 in the evening, that's when I'm free next." Lira smiled, "alright, thank you for helping us." The lord smiled, "not a problem, oh and by the way I'll let you stay at our best inn, it's located next to the palace."Mya smiled and bowed her head, "thank you so much." with that they all left the Lord. right after the doors closed behind them, the Lord smiled evilly, "no, thank you."

The group was walking around outside of the castle. "You guys go head to the inn," Rouge told the group. Mya looked at Rouge confused, "what about you?" Rouge looked at Lex from the side of his eye, "I need to discuss something with Lex real quick." Cara smiled, "alright, but when you're done I need to take him for a bit." Cara cheerfully winked at Lex, making Lex blush nervously. "Of course," Rouge nodded. Everyone headed to the inn, leaving Lex, and Rouge. Lex turned to Rouge after the others were out of hearing range, "so, what did you need to talk with me about?" "Did you notice anything off with, The Lord?" Rouge asked bluntly. Lex tilted his head curiously, "what do you mean, he was very polite?" Rouge nodded, "Yes, but he didn't ask for any proof about Mya being a mage."
Lex sighed, irritatedly, "you're just trying to make up reasons for this journey not to end." "No, I'm not," Rouge told Lex in protest. Lex rolled his eyes and nodded, "Yes, yes you are because Mya's going to leave." Rouge was silent for a moment, "..That doesn't matter, what matters is that something is off with the lord."Lex turned his body away from him, "I'm leaving, and you need to accept the fact Mya is going to leave!" Rouge was silent as he watched Lex walk away, towards the inn. Lex walked a path made out of marble till he reached the inn, he walked through glass doors into the lobby. The inn looked like something out of a novel. "Wow, what a nice in," Lex said out loud. Cara saw Lex walk in, she made her way towards him, "I know right."Lex turned to Cara with a curious smile, "Cara, what did you want to talk to me about?"
Cara's face turned as red as a cherry, " well I wanted to go on a walk, just the two of us." Lex clears his throat, he was taken off guard by the question, "I would love to, but why now?"Cara smiled, fidgeting with her shirt, "well this journey is going to end soon, and I just joined the group, so I wanted to get closer to you." Lex smiled with his face a bright shade of pink, "is there a reason you want to?" "Maybe, you'll just have to wait and see," Cara admits in a teasing manner. Lex smiled, "then I'll wait." Cara held her hand out to Lex, "then let's go." Lex takes her hand with a big smile, "alright." Cara still holding Lex's hand guides him out the door.

Rouge was standing at the front desk at the inn, "hello." The woman behind the desk turned to ace him. She had a classic customer service smile, "you must be one of the travelers our lord sent over." Rouge nodded with a grim look, "yes." The woman seemed uncomfortable with Rouge's expression, "your room is number 35." The woman told Rouge, quickly ending the conversation. Rouge looked up at her, "thank you, do you know what room my friends are in?" The woman looked like she was thinking for a moment, "what do they look like?" "one of them is wearing a short dress with thigh highs, and her hair is brown and up in two buns, her name is Mya," Rouge told the woman with a warm smile. This made the woman feel a bit more comfortable, "oh yes, she's in room 34." "thank you." after that Rouge walked away heading up to the rooms.
Mya was already settled in her room. She was sitting on a very comfortable bed, the bed was made from 100% cotton. Which was hard to get in this world. Mya was sitting on the bed brushing all the knots out of her hair. As Mya was brushing her hair she heard a knock at the door. "Who is it?" Mya shouted from her bed, not wanting just anyone coming in. "Rouge." He yelled through the door, loud enough for the whole building to hear. Mya smiled at just hearing his voice, "come in, it's open." Rouge slowly opened the door and closed it behind him. "What's up Rouge?" Mya asked curiously. Rouge sighed, "It's late so I'll make this quick." That sentence made Mya look at him with an extremely confused expression. "When all these ends are you going to go back home!" Rouge shouted without realizing the volume his voice was at.
Mya looked worried, "is this why you looked sad when we arrived?" Rouge nodded, "yes, now please answer I don't want to take up any more of your time." Mya slowly gets up from the bed and walked over to him so they could be face to face, "Well to tell you the truth, I don't know." Rouge didn't say anything he just looked away. After a minute he turned around and walked out of the door slamming it behind him. Mya looked down as if she was about to cry, "Rouge.." Mya walked back over to the bed and slammed her body on it, "do I want to stay here, I've made so many friends, friends that'll last forever. Plus I do want to stay here, I just know I'll miss my parents." Mya sighed, "I'll make a decision when the time comes." Mya slowly crawled under the covers of the bed. She closed her eyes a swiftly fell asleep letting all her worries drift away.

The next day, Once it hit 1:30 in the evening. The whole group gathered in the inn lobby. Mark had a cheerful smile on his face as always, "is everyone ready to end this war." "yes," Mya enthusiastically replied. Roug rolled his eyes, he was still in a sour mood after last night, "whatever." Lex was holding Cara's hand tightly, "ready as I'll ever be." "me too," Cara answered. They were both tinted pink from their cheeks to their ears. Lira smiled, "then let's get going, it's already 1:56. We don't want to be late." The man in the hood was watching them again through the crystal, "how sweet they don't want to be late to end the was." The hooded man takes off his hood to reveal who he is. The demon Lord, "unfortunately they don't know they'll be starting a new war."
The cloaked man behind him also takes off his hood, he's a timid teen boy with black hair and ruby eyes. He has a grim look on his face, "Lord, may I go now." The lord looked at the boy with a smile, "of course, I need to meet them now anyways." The boy bowed, "thank you, my lord." The group was standing outside of the castle, anxiously awaiting their victory. "Is everyone ready?" Lira asked. Everyone looked excited, "yes." everyone except Rouge replied. Was still looking upset about everything that had transpired the day before, first with Lex and then with Mya. Before any of them entered, the boy that was with the lord moments prior came running out, "s-stop." he stuttered nervously.
Lex looked at the boy suspiciously, "who are you?" The boy looked like he was about to break down into tears, "I work for the Lord." "Was there a change of plans?" LIra asked confused at why he was there. The boy shook his head, "no." Lira looked annoyed with the delay, "then let's go." "Please don't, he plans on taking all of the enchanted books!" The boy shouted trying to get through to them. "Yeah right," Lira said not believing a word the boy had said. "Please believe me," The boy pleaded. "Let's go," Mya told everyone, but even she wasn't sure what to believe. Everyone ignored the boy and headed inside, except Rouge. The boy looked down defeatedly. "If what you say is true, will you help us fight him?" Rouge asked the boy sincerely. The boy fidgeted with his hands, "I don't think I could, My shadow magic is very weak." Rouge gave the boy a heartwarming smile, "I believe you could, after all, you were brave enough to tell us." "I'll try," the boy told Rouge with a bit more confidence than he had moments prior. Rouge smiled, "what's your name?" "ash," The boy answered. Rouge messed with ash's hair, "ready to end the war?" Ash smiled nervously and nodded, "let's go." Rouge and Ash both entered the castle.

Lira, Mark, Lex, Cara, and Mya all were inside the castle. The Lord was standing in front of them. "Hello Lord." Mya smiled up at him. "Hello ms. Mya," The lord said back while holding the book of lightning. Mya looked at the Lord suspiciously, "I don't remember telling you my name." "oh really?" The Lord asked. Mya nodded. The lord laughed, "oh well the gigs up, I'll be taking those books." Mya looked at him with an irritated expression, "what makes you think we'll give them to you?" The Lord had a cheeky smile, "I wasn't asking." The Lord put his hand out. Right as he did the shadows on the ground grew and shot out of the ground tying them all up. A shadow hand grabbed the bag from Mya and handed it directly to the Lord.
"Oh thank you for delivering all of the books to me," The lord smiled with an evil chuckle. MYa squirms and her hands glow green, vines sprout out of the ground and tore the shadows of her, "ugh." Mya grunted. The smile vanished off of the lord's face, "well that wasn't fun at all." Suddenly Ash and Rouge run into the castle. The Lord turned his attention over to them, "Ash I knew you were a trader." "we're too late," Ash said in a fearful voice. "We'll get them back," Rouge told Ash reassuring him. The Lord started to laugh hysterically, "what are you going to do, fight me?" The Lord suddenly dropped the demon's book into the back with the rest of the books."I have access to all of the books, and you want to fight me?" While the Lord was distracted Mya used the vines to break everyone out of the shadows. "Is everyone okay?" Mya asked. Lira nodded while rubbing her wrists, "thanks to you."
The Lord noticed everyone was free once again. A creepy smile appeared on his face, "let's dance." Mya had a focused face on him, she threw her hand back as if she were about to through something. Mya's hands glowed red as a big ball of fire assembled in her hand. She threw her body launching the ball at the Lord. The Lord smiled as his hands glowed Blue. He threw his hands in the air when he did a wall of water appeared. The water extinguished the fire. "I have the elements now too." The Lord said with a laugh. Mya looked at her friends panicked. Lira grabbed a red and pink egg out of her bag, she threw it in the air as it glowed, "I summon Kio!" The egg hatched and a giant fox appeared, growling at The lord. "That's not nice," The lord was starting to look a little bit panicked.
Cara put two fingers into her mouth and whistled. The whistle was so loud the next town over could hear it. Moments later Rex came breaking down all the doors in the castle. Rex was Looking at the lord with angry drool falling from all three of his heads. "I underestimate you," The lord admits. Lex, Mark, and Rouge suddenly start to charge him, with their fangs and claws out. The lord sighed, "time to bring out the big guns." all of the books start to float circling the lord. The lord started to float as well, while he was floating symbols appeared on his forehead, and his horns turned green and red as well. As the lord was floating he hovered his hands one above the other. In the center of his hands, a ball started forming with all the elements combined.
The lord shoots the ball of combined magic at them. After the ball hit the ground all that followed was a loud bang and dust circling the air. After the air cleared The lord looked around at all of them, passed out on the ground injured. The lord lands back on the ground, "this power is extraordinary, I could wipe out the whole world." "No you won't," a voice said. When the lord looked up he noticed Ash still standing. Ash put his hand out, tying the lord down with shadows. "You're still standing, I'm surprised." The lord chuckled. He shrugged, "I'll just take care of you now." Mya slowly started to regain consciousness. As she opened her eyes she noticed Ash, "it's the boy." she mumbled to herself.

Ash stood before the lord trembling with tears in his eyes, "I can't let you harm anymore people!" The Lord laughed at ash's display of courage, "you were always a wimp ash." Ash took in a deep breath, "you killed the mages, and let the humans be blamed!" The lord rolled his eyes, "so what I needed full power." Mya was still on the ground listening to their conversation, "he killed the mages." his eyes widened in disbelief, one because that would make him hundreds of years old, and two she never thought he would do such a thing, she knew he was evil but not evil enough to wipe out a whole species. Ash was still lecturing the lord while shaking, "power isn't everything." "Power is everything, and the sooner you learn that the better you'll be." The lord was at his limits. "Tha's not true," ash protested.
The lord sighed, officially at his limit, "unfortunately you won't live to learn it!" Mya realizing what was about to happen, "Stop!" Mya weakly manages to stand. Mya looked around realizing the position they were in. Just then it dawned on her, the way they could still win this fight. The Lord smiled as he created a lightning bolt and was about to hit ash with it. Right before it could hit ash, Mya clapped her hands together freezing time. Mya had walked up to ask and put her hand on his shoulder, creating a time bubble so he could move, just as she'd done once before. Ash looked around startled, "what happened!" "calm down." "Why is everyone frozen," Ash asked not hearing a word out of Mya's mouth. Mya sighed, "I froze time." Ash looked at the lightning bolt inches away from him, "looks like you did it at the right time." "I agree, now will you help me collect the books?" Ash nodded. Ash walked over to the Lord and took the book of fire out of the air, when he did the symbol on the lord's forehead faded a little.
"It looks like the books are linked to the symbols." Mya nodded as she followed Ash's lead by taking the book of water. The symbol faded even more, "looks like you're right." Mya quickly reached out and grabbed all of the rest of the books until the symbol on the lord's forehead had completely vanished. "Now what," Ash asked curiously. "I unfreeze time." "why?" Mya smiled, "destroying the books takes a lot of energy, it won't work if time is frozen." Ash sighed then nodded, I understand." Mya smiled, about to clap her hands together, "you may want to step back." Ash stepped back out of the way of the lightning bolt. Mya clapped her hands together. As time went back to normal. The lighting bolt quickly struck the wall, making the wall turn to dust. The Lord put his hand out trying to do something else but failed.
"My power, what happened! How do you have the books!" The lord streaked. Mya chuckled, "I'm a mage, all you can do is control the elements."Mya smiled, "say goodbye to world domination." "No!," The lord shouted as he shot shadows at her. The shadows just bounced off a blue-tinted light. "You can't touch me." The books starts to circle her, first slowly, then the speed picked up every second. "Say goodbye to this war." "I refuse to lose!" Mya puts her hands parallel to each other, first, it turned into a ball of water, then the fire was added after that came to earth, and air. Mya smiled, "these books have caused enough pain." She stretched her hands apart, making the ball bigger, and bigger. Soon the ball covered her whole body. Just then it felt like time had stopped once more. It felt like a century went by until the ball vanished. As it vanished the books torn apart had fallen to the ground.

Everyone slowly started to awaken. "What happened," Rouge mumbled still not fully awake. Mya smiled at Rouge seeing he was okay, "the books are now history." The lord was hovering over where the books were destroyed, he was picking up the tiny shreds in his hands, "no, no, no, no!" Mya stood over the lord, "there's no one left for you to hurt." After all the commotion and half, the castle missing the guards came rushing in. "My lord!" The guard turned his attention over to the group, "arrest them!" Mya sighed and put her hand out, vines formed tying all the guards to the ground. The guards were stunned by what they had just witnessed, "y-you're a mage?" Mya nodded, she was exhausted after the fight, and she didn't have much energy to deal with these guards, "yes, and I just destroyed the enchanted books." The guards all looked at each other murmuring amongst themselves. The head guard turned his attention back over to Mya, "the war, it's over?"
Mya nodded, "yes it is, now if you want to arrest someone arrest him." she gestured to the lord. The guard looked confused, "why should we arrest our lord?" "Let me think, for starters murdering all of the mage clan, and then trying to steal the books to take over the world and trying to kill us," Mya said in a sarcastic annoyed tone. The guard looked stunned, "he killed the mages." "yes, and he kept the secret for centuries." The guards bowed down to Mya, "we'll take care of him, thank you." Mya nodded as the vines let go of them, "it was a pleasure." The guards walked over to the lord and dragged him away. Everyone was now awake, a bit injured, but awake and alive. "I'm sorry we didn't believe you or Rouge," Lex said with a remorseful tone. Ash smiled, "it's alright, and my name is ash by the way." Lira looked down, "if only we had listened."
Ralph suddenly appeared, "hello Mya." Mya smiled kindly at Ralph, "it's been a while ralph." Ralph nodded, "yes, it has." Cara and Ash both looked at Ralph stunned, "what is that!" Cara shrieked. Mya laughed at Cara's reaction to Ralph, "this is Ralph, My genie."Cara shook her head and shrugged, "you know, nothing surprises me anymore." Ralph looked at Mya with a firm face, "you've completed your mission, do you want to go home?" Mya looked behind her at everyone. Rouge looked away from mya, hiding his feelings, "do whatever you want." Mya looked at Ralph, "on one hand if I stay I'd miss my family, on the other I'd be leaving another family, one that cares about me."
Ralph gave mya a warm smile, "what do you choose Mya." Mya walked over to Rouge and stood facing him, "I choose to stay." Rouge turned his attention over to Mya, he had a big puppy dog smile on his face, even his tail was wagging, "really!?" Mya blushed, but still kept eye contact with Rouge, "of course, I love you." Rouge's face turned red as he grabbed Mya by her waist, he pulled her close to him, moving one hand to the side of his face. He moved his face close to hers so they could feel each other's breath before he went in for their first kiss. After they pulled apart they both looked at each other smiling, all their friends cheering and clapping Cara celebrated by giving Lex a big fat kiss on the cheek. They all smiled and cheered together knowing that they could live in a happy world, with each other.
