3:00 AM….Jack was already inside old Parker's House after sneaking out after his mother went to work. He wanted to go to that house partly to impress his class mates and to show off , and also to see if the rumors were true about the house being hunted by Mr. Parker's ghost. Since it was built 20 years ago, the house was crumbly and could collapse at any minute. The house was still and quiet and no sound was heard except for the rushing wind and jack's light breath. Jack started to explore the house. Suddenly he heard a radio opening…he couldn't here much but it was an old man talking and was repeatedly saying the word "Rosalie". Jack was petrified about being in the house with somebody else because it was considered hunted so he ran to an empty room. There was nothing in the room except for a desk with an old book on it and some rotten food beside it. Jack went ahead to try and open up the book but the sound of the radio disturbed him…it was the sound of the old man's voice again this time he said "a red sparrow " and again "a red sparrow ". Jack was still scared of opening the book but his curiosity overwhelmed him and he just couldn't stop him self so he finally decided to open it. While he was still opening it he noticed a painting on the wall….the painting showed a sparrow in a cage. He finally began opening the book…the first page said " where are you Rosalie Parker? You said you'd come back as a little red sparrow". The second page said " you promised with your last breath that you would comeback to me". By now Jack thought that the old man Parker was mad." It had been 20 years and I am now coming to you!". As he read through all pages he finally realized that the man wasn't mad he was just sad about what happened to his sparrow. He heard the radio again, this time the old man said " behind you". Although Jack was shaking-scared he looked behind him …he had to...he saw the body of Mr. Parker on the floor. He couldn't believe his eyes! He immediately called the police. The police arrived at the house to ask Jack questions about the body and to investigate. After the police's investigation he found out that the body was sitting there for AT LEAST 6 months. Finally it all made perfect sense!!! Mr. Parker was sitting their waiting for his spirit wife to arrive home but she didn't arrive before his death and so he kept on waiting and waiting for somebody to find his body so he can somehow be released and can finally meet with his sparrow! After all the police's questions were over the police asked Jack if he would like a ride home, but He told them that he's wanted to walk home on his own to breathe fresh air. On his way home he was admiring the sun rise then he saw two red Sparrows on a tree branch. It was an adventure that Jack was proud he did!
