I scrubbed my body and hair scrubbing out the blood the water ran red as the door opened and Gavin walked it. "Whose blood?" Paisley tried to get him to come out by telling him I'd talk when I finished. Gavin pushed her away and opened the glass door. "Get out Mom." She nodded to me, telling me it was okay to trust him and she turned to leave.
Gavin took off a pair of flannel pants and stepped into the warm water. "Start from the beginning." He said as he leaned over me." His hands roamed me checking for marks. "It isn't mine." I said as he kissed me. Blood smeared over his chest. "Then tell me." His eyes flashed gold."
I started telling him everything as I continued to rinse the blood from my hair. He glared as I quickly covered questioning some servants and coming back into the room. "You questioned people who work for me?" He snarled and grabbed my wrists. "Yes." I said calmly as he backed me up under the water. "With out me?" I nodded again. "Yes Gavin."
He pulled me back under the water and pushed me against the cold tiled wall. "And you think I would be okay with this?" I nodded and held my ground. "Yes because I wanted to find out who was trying to hurt my mate. Who wanted to kill you, but not me? Who would benefit from having me? Why try and kill you like that and what the end plan was... I had to act quickly or the evidence would have been gone." He held me by my wrists tighter and the coldness of the tile made me cold, but I didn't shiver. His body creating enough heat to warm me.
"You are the fire, and I am the ice." I whispered and my wolf eyes flashed. "How did you get this information little wolf?" He smirked. I pushed against him and ran my chest against his allowing my nipples to slide down his body. "I let the big wolf out." He turned his gaze toward my body. "You have two wolves?" I smiled. "Kind of. They look the same, but when I let her out completely it is a game changer." Gavins eyes shot to mine. "The Big Bad Wolf... Like Your Father?" I nodded "The Alpha." I whispered into his ear as he loosened his grip.
"So you aren't an Omega?" I shook my head. "No, but to protect Molly I had to play a part." I looked down and he dropped my arms. "And lying to me? Was that a part too? Let's keep playing a game to see of we can get the King to care for a poor Omega?" His eyes flashed as he slammed against the glass door and it broke into a million pieces scattering across the floor. He grabbed a towel and dried himself off.
"You are a great actress Holly." I jumped out and grabbed a towel chasing him. I leaned against the door to block his exit. Small pieces of glass embedded themselves in my feet as I slid. "I never lied to you. I just didn't tell you everything. I don't let her out, because she is dangerous and Molly needed me to be less. I don't expect you to forgive me, but you should listen."
He didn't move so I kept going. "I did it for you, to find out the big plot and I did. Wellin is planning on getting your servants to murder you so he can take me and Molly away. He wants to use us to make Alpha's for him and make himself King." Gavin looked at me shaking his head. "Or you have been working with him this whole time." He twisted his head and I was trying to reign in my anger. "I wouldn't do that and you know it." He pushed me aside and walked out.
Paisley peaked in to find me leaning against the sink. "Didn't go well?" I shook my head. "He thinks I played him. He thinks I'm in on it... That I'd..." I choked out a cry and swallowed it. "We have to leave." I looked at her and she nodded. "I'll pack Molly and myself." Paisley whispered. "No you and Sheamus have to stay and protect him. I'll take Molly to... Someplace safe."
She smiled. "What if I take her to the U.S. to stay with my Mom and Dad. My whole family is there, and my Uncle would die before he allowed another wolf on his land. You stay close, but not here. I'll be gone three days tops." I nodded knowing I didn't have another choice to keep Molly away from Wellin. "Okay, but you have to come back. You are going to have to go for a week of so then come back, otherwise you will worry and we have two enemies to fight. Wellin amd the people he hired."
I packed myself a small rucksack and a warm coat before heading to Molly's. "We really doing this?" I nodded and she ran into my arms. "You'll be safe there, and I can use big bad without worrying I'll hurt you. I think Gavin might need her." Tears ran down her face. "Be careful please Holly." She whispered as I zipped up her coat and led her to Ms. Paisley's room. "Remember to tell and act like I am with you if he calls and remember I don't want to talk okay. This phones for you to talk to him only. Don't pick up for anyone else, and don't tell anyone where you are." She looked at me with glassy eyes as I cleaned my feet. "So you need to give me some blood so I can talk to you?"
"If that is what you want Molly, but you can not prattle. If I tell you to be quiet." I said as I plucked the last piece of glass out. "Okay no nonsense talk." Molly held out her arm and I changed my face into the alpha before biting her. I cleaned her arm expecting her to cry, but she just had a few silent tears. "I've never been away from you for this long." I nodded and she threw her arms around me. "The quicker we separate, the quicker we can see each other again." Molly smiled against my stomach.
She looked at me sideways. "I am not stupid, I wont call anyone or pick up for anyone else." I laughed and kissed her again. "I'm going to miss your smart mouth." I said as I hugged her and nodded to Ms. Paisley.
He wanted an actress and I was going to give him one. We all walked out of the castle me and Molly in one car and Paisley in the other. We shuffled and switched cars twice before I sat under a bridge and Ms. Paisley got into the same car with Molly. I watched them drive off into the distance until Molly's little face disappeared.
I got up and Sheamus stood next to me making me jump. "Gods you scared me." I grabbed my chest to calm my heartbeat. "I have the castle, you go for Wellin." I nodded and he handed me a list. "A copy in case you need to let out the big wolf." He smiled and I looked down at Paisley's list. "Won't you need this?" I looked up to see he had vanished. "He really is a God damn shadow." I whispered as the winter wind whipped through me.
