The scene opens up in Nigeria(the east to be precise), in the state of ABIA. It's night time and Stanton sits just outside of the boys quarter that he shares with three of his friends, the place is quite small but the have resolved to manage and bear with it( what can they do anyways). Stanton is lost in thought as to the present situation of himself and his friends, the weight of their poverty, His obligation to his parents and what the world has to say about men like himself with little or nothing to life.
Ideas flash across his mind as he deliberates with himself as to what to do next, He finally takes the option of doing whatever he has to do to survive regardless of the consequences (He has to do what he feels is best for his friends, family and the world, putting his pride, dignity and endurance aside).
Stanton decides to go see ROMEO king of the mafia chain in the western region of Nigeria, spreading to Africa to the rest of the world.(Yes!! He says out loud, Man's got to do something to survive sometimes).
Giving the best life to family is the best thing to do regardless of anything, the long standing reproach of poverty needed to end, he believes.
