Chapter 12 - 12. Talk Considering

From the doorway of her mother's room, Zahra yelled, "Mother... where is mom?"

From behind the house, there was a sound that sounded like someone pounding something.

Zahra turned around right away.

"Mother? What is the issue?" Zahra enquired.

"Mom dried the child's mattress. Let's see this. I had a wet night," Mrs. Tatik responded.

"Does Mom's room still have leaks? Why don't you communicate with me? You can get assistance fixing it from your neighbors. Just leave it first; Mom has it already. There were visitors in front of it," Zahra said to her mother.

"Guest? The visitors are who? Who are your visitors, Mom's visitors?" Mrs. Tatik enquired.

"Yes, Ma'am, visitors for both of us. Let's go, " Zahra answered.

The mattress Mrs. Tatik was drying was abandoned.

Joon said, "Good afternoon, Ma'am."

"Hello, midday. Who's that? It appears that it was satisfied in the past, " Mrs. Tatik stated. Then he extended his hand for a handshake.

Zahra grinned in the meantime at the sound and sight of it.

"Joon here. Zahra and I used to be invited to this home. A year or so ago, " Joon answered.

Joon said, pointing to the father and mother seated next to him, "This is... my parents."

"Oooh, sure. Good day, sir, ma'am," Mrs. Tatik greeted them and extended her hand.

Joon's parents eventually introduce themselves when shaking hands with his mother Zahra, even though they don't speak the same language.

Zahra informed her mother, "Joon's folks don't speak Indonesian."

"Let Joon translate later if you want to chat," Zahra continued.

"Fine. You make a drink there first, Zahra "said Mrs. Tatik.

"Yes, sir. Joon, hold on a second "said Zahra. After that, he headed back. as her mother talked to her three visitors. Despite how frustrating it feels, Joon, who turns out to know Indonesian, is a blessing.

"Ladies and gentlemen, if I may ask, what is the event going to Indonesia?" questioned Mrs. Tatik.

"Mom, both of my parents are tremendously interested in Indonesia's natural beauty. Many movies and pictures from when I was on vacation here a year ago were shown to them," Joon translated the response from his mother's father.

Mrs. Tatik smiled and nodded.

"Then who are this family and Joon's actual ancestors?" Mrs. Tatik enquired.

Joon responded, "Korea Ma'am."

Not many young people in Korea seem to notice that, huh? Drama in Korean?" innocently, Mrs. Tatik questioned.

Joon grinned before translating Mrs. Tatik's recent comments into Korean. Both of the parents simultaneously grinned in response.

Joon and his dad said, "Yeah, right."

"We are traveling here to meet with Zahra Bu as well. This Joon is our son. In addition to adoring Indonesia's natural landscape, Zahra is another reason," Mrs. Ayeong remarked.

Joon looked a little less assured when he translated his mother's comments, but he still told Mrs. Tatik how she was.

Mrs. Tatik gave Joon a frowning expression.

"You intend? Do you enjoy Zahra?" Mrs. Tatik politely inquired.

Joon said after giving a nod "Mother's Child Zahra Bu has my heart. Is it alright?"

Joon's inquiry wasn't instantly answered by Mrs. Tatik in that manner. Mrs. Tatik was thinking about a variety of things at the moment.

Joon could only remain silent while he awaited his mother Zahra's response. even after Zahra returned carrying a drink for them.

Zahra questioned inside, "This is why is it all silent?"

After the warm tea was placed on the table, Zahra urged everyone to take a sip. Then Zahra sat down next to her mother.

"Zahra. Mom will speak with you later. It's important," Ms. Tatik declared.

Zahra agreed by nodding.

"Joon... Mom can't respond right now. Mom first speaks with Zahra. You're prepared to wait? Ms. Tatik enquired.

"Naturally, it's Mom. Let me wait. However, my mother and father had a morning flight back to Korea. They want to settle up," Joon retorted.

"Oh. similar to? Yes, sir or ma'am, exercise caution. I hope Korea is a safe place for you," Mrs. Tatik responded.

Joon and his mom then said their goodbyes.

"Yes, Mom, Zahra did take them to the inn first. I gave the automobile back, Mr. Garda," she remarked to her mother, Zahra.

Mrs. Tatik, who only learned this time, questioned, "You are still working with Mr. Garda?"

"Mr. Garda questioned Zahra Ma'am. Only Zahra, he claimed, offers any hope. So, Zahra does not want to be perceived as being haughty. After all, Mr. Garda has always treated Zahra well " Zahra answered.

After Mrs. Tatik patted her daughter on the back, Zahra departed to drive Joon and Joon's parents to Mrs. Woro's inn.

As they were returning to the inn, Joon stated, "Zahra, I've spoken to your mother."

"What query?" inquires Zahra.

Joon responded, "I seek your mother's permission to love you."

Zahra asked in shock, "What?"

"Mom just told me that she wants to talk to me seriously, so it makes sense. It was revealed to be entirely the result of your actions?" Zahra shook her head and continued to drive her car.

"What's wrong, Zahra?" Joon queried.

"Yes, that's okay; you won't regret it. Joon, let's see what mom has to say to me," Zahra said.

Joon responded, "May it be good news, Zahra."

Zahra gave glanced at the attractive man on her left before cracking a small smile.

At this point, they were in front of Mrs. Woro's hotel. After saying farewell to Joon's parents, who I don't know when they'll see again, Zahra left the area. For the first time, Bu Ayeong hugged Zahra. The same is true for Mr. Jung, Joon's father.

It somehow caused Zahra's heart to tremble. Even though they have only spoken a few times, an interpreter is still required, Zahra feels as though they have already formed a unique inner link. When Joon's parents returned to Korea, both of his eyes were heavy with tears as if to release them.

"My mom told you, Zahra. Self-care is important. Hopefully, we'll cross paths again eventually "Translating a message from his mother," Joon stated.

"Amen," Zahra murmured after giving a nod.

Their final exchange was over. Then Zahra left the inn owned by Mrs. Woro's courtyard. Zahra returned Mr. Garda's car as intended and then took his motorcycle.

Zahra entered and said, "Good afternoon, Mr. Garda."

"Zahra! Are you finished?" said Mr. Garda, who was still working at the computer at the time.

"I do, sir. Please find the car documents and keys here. Then I want to first say goodbye," said Zahra.

"Wait for a second! Zahra, take a seat first," cried out Mr. Garda.

Zahra was then compelled to halt as she was ready to step forward and sit down on the chair in front of Mr. Garda's desk. He awaited the question that Mr. Garda would soon pose.

Mr. Garda handed Zahra a brown envelope containing cash and stated, "Accept this Zahra, your wages as long as you have assisted me."

"How about this, Mr. Garda? Was it first presented to me yesterday? That's all, Sir" said Zahra.

"Simply accept it. In any case, this is hardly much. The money made yesterday was used to cover operating expenses," Zahra was persuaded to accept what Mr. Garda said.

"If Mr. Garda insists, then it is. Sir, I agree with this. Thank you very much, and I hope Mr. Garda's firm will continue to grow and prosper "Zahra added.

"Amen. Yes, turn in that direction! Hopefully, Zahra, your company will be prosperous as well. Oh yes, I'll let you know, Zahra, if there are more Korean tourists," said Mr. Garda in jest.

Zahra shook her head and muttered, "Ah! Mr. Garda."

But you enjoy it, no? a visitor from Korea on this one? WKKK," Mr. Garda exclaimed while grinning.

Zahra left Mr. Garda's office after feeling ashamed.

Nearly pitch black. Zahra came over to pick up some snacks for her family.

It turned out that her mother was already waiting at the dinner table when she got home.

"Mother? You've cooked? As soon as Zahra noticed the dishes on the dining room table, she questioned.

"Quickly took a shower. We consumed it," Mrs. Tatik remarked.

Zahra immediately walked to her room and put a bag inside before taking a shower.

It has, Ma'am. Now let's eat! After going back to the supper table, take Zahra.

"Have you been awaiting Zahra for a while, ma'am? Because r. Garda was requested to speak first, the conversation dragged on," Zahra enquired.

"Zahra, it's all right. Mom is used to waiting for you to get home during this time, after all. Mom had already committed it to memory. Let's eat already!" Mrs. Tatik stated.

They both started eating right away. Mrs. Tatik took Zahra for a serious conversation after lunch was finished and the table was cleared.

"Zahra, mom wants to speak with you right now. The living room will do, Mrs. Tatik suggested. Zahra simply went there since she was aware of how to infer what her mother was attempting to express. Before her mother spoke, she sat motionlessly.
