Chapter 128 - Try It

Before Galen could finish speaking, Matteus had fully formulated a plan, and he acted on it before the last words flew out of Galen's mouth;

"I want to try it out."

While it sounded like he was saying it in order to get permission, really Matteus was just telling everyone he was going to do it anyway. And he did. Before anyone could say jack, Matteus stepped forward towards the box. His eyes sparkling with mischief, and eager to test  the potency of this artifact (hopefully to put Galen to shame), Matteus brought his palms together.

Instantly, a dazzling ball of brilliant white light appeared at his will. It was roughly the size of a tennis ball, and it reeked of Matteus' malicious intent. Even though he claimed to want to test it, he ended up chanelling and hurling all that destructive energy at Galen, secretly hoping the box would not work.
