Anna did not need anyone to tell her that she could not continue like this. She could never beat him at close range. She had to quickly put some distance between both of them, and launch powerful long range attacks with the hope that one of them would hit home. That was her only choice.
She grimaced as another heavy blow landed on her shield. It was beginning to feel like she was locked in one of those shipping containers, and a large monster truck was on the outside, continually ramming into the container with a relentlessness that was close to madness.
Anna timed her jump well.
There was a time lag of approximately one point five seconds between each attack. That was her window. Although, it was clearly not much, but in this dance of a fight to the death, it was the best she could hope for.
