Chapter 43 - Different

She giggled excitedly and reached him for a hug. Her full breasts pressed firmly on his back. And as her nipples grazed him, she moaned softly in his ear. Eager to celebrate her victory, Lilith whispered seductively in his ear as she reached for his dick.

"Make love to me Alex..."

He did. This time, he sastisfied her fully, and left her burned out.

"Fine. But you will let me know in advance before you come. Got it?"

"Yes boss!"

With the exhausted limp body of the woman lying in behind behind him, Alex went back to Hell, no doubt, feeling every inch like a champion.

But Lilith was the real victor here. She had gotten basically everything she wanted out of the situation. She got Alex to come with her, she wrung out scores of orgasms from him, she got him to rely on her for information, and of course, she got a free pass to drop in and have mind blowing sex with him.

And she had gotten it all while appearing to be the complete opposite of a malevolent, capricious and manipulative woman! It was indeed a masterstroke of misdirection.

It was either Alex knew, and was willingly being complacent with the whole thing, or, he was too occupied to be bothered. It was probably the latter. Eliana and Scarlett occupied a decent portion of his thoughts. They were walking, breathing distractions. Somehow, he had come to feel responsible for them. And strangely, he had not realized when this started.

He still had enough juice to teleport him back to Hell.

As soon as his form re-materialized, the death-like atmosphere greeted him again with a sting. The past forty hours of lovemaking had softened him, but being here, he was once again reminded of just how despicable this place was. The vastness of the deathless valley did nothing to hide anything or anyone.

His final act, just before he had been spirited away by Lilith, had been to cover both sisters with a thin layer of cosmic energy. It was not a force field that had the impenetrable power of a fortress. He could not do that without awakening his full powers. But the shield was enough to completely mask their presence and keep them hidden. He hoped Eliana and Scarlett had had the common sense to remain within the confinements of the barrier. It was designed to keep anyone from going in, not coming out.

Alex found both sisters exactly where he had left them. Thankfully, they were still intact.

"Get up. It's time..."

Almost immediately, he realized just how insensitive those words had been. It was not what he said, it was how he had said it.

Alex's sudden reappearance out of nowhere had been completely devoid of any kind of warning whatsoever. So, when he had spoken out of the darkness, it had been the first voice or sound she had heard in almost four sleepless days! It had the disruptive, and disturbing equivalent of the sound of a church bell that had been struck with a suddeness at midnight- in a cemetery! The fear that had gripped her was unlike anything she had ever felt.

His voice startled the hell out of Eliana, very nearly driving her into cardio shock. Both sisters had been in the womb of the earth for the better part of three and a half days. The person who led them here had disappeared without a trace, leaving them alone. In those dark lonely hours, Eliana had truly felt like she was going mad. Having being in that state, she had gotten accustomed to the silence and darkness.

Thus, her over sensitive ears, and hyper active imagination colluded together to amplify her fears when his voice came.

Alex felt sorry for her when he heard her gasp.

"Relax, it's me. Have I been gone for that long?"

He expected the younger sister to go crazy on him for leaving them that long. But Eliana was way too grateful to have him back. The nightmare was finally over! She lifted up herself from her crouched position, and rushed towards him with arms open wide. The embrace packed the emotional heaviness of a thousand poems. Tears flowed freely from her eyes, and her voice choked with sobs as she spoke;

"I t-t-thoug-g-ght you w-w-would n-n-n-ever come back-k-k!!" she sobbed. "Please take us home!!!"

Even though she was all but whispering, her sadness was profoundly loud. She had been in Hell for three days with her zombie like sister, but it must have felt like an eternity for her. Alex heard her, and did not waste time about it. Without even as much as a word, he took hold of both sister's and put his left foot forward.

It was something that he had done several times, but to Eliana, it was another experience she would never forget. Suddenly, it felt like her entire being became extremely light- lighter than feather. As if she was in a fast moving vehicle watching through the window, all around her, the environment began to melt away in fast moving frames that were too quick for her eyes to follow.

The terrifying gate-like entity, the dark river, the bridge, the, and the tunnel that had served as their means of entrance all came in to view, within a second. And finally, the ground that had opened up to receive them, then the hospital building, and finally, her body (and the others) in the hospital room. To her, it seemed like she had taken just one step to cover the entire distance that had brought her and Alex to Hell.

As soon as she opened her eyes in her body, she felt everything anew.

She felt the oxygen filling her lungs. She felt the warmth of the atmosphere, and was grateful for it. She felt the humidity on her skin, and the pull of gravity. It was like she was experiencing all of this for the first time, and realized just how much she had taken for granted. It took her a minute to get reaccustomed to having a physical body back on earth.

Her eyes drifted towards her sister's body, and was pleased to see that color had returned to her pale cheeks. She was still sleeping, but not in the coma-like position she had been in from four days ago. Eliana wondered what day it was, as well as the time. Her sharp eyes darted towards the seventy inched smart television, and her mouth opened in shock!

Poor Eliana. She had entertained more surprises in the past few hours than she had in her entire life.

The jaw dropping surprise was not something that her brain could explain. One look at the news, and Eliana found out that not only was it the same day from three and a half days ago, but barely an hour had passed by since she had left her body!!

Not sure if her mind was playing tricks on her, she quickly reached for her smart phone to confirm. She was met with the same result.

"Alex...!!" it was no longer mister Alex now. The line of formality had definitely been crossed. "Am I insane or is it still the same day from four days ago?!!"

He frowned slightly as he tried to think of the best way to explain to her. He was not as groggy, or as 'jet-lagged' as Eliana, so he was already on his feet checking Scarlett's pulse and her other vitals. Bent over her, he answered Eliana absent-mindedly;

"Oh, yeah. The flow of time is different down there..."

Eliana looked at him, expecting a little bit more than that. He sighed, and faced her.

"There are several dimesions outside this earth. In each of them, the flow of time is completely different in relation to that of earth's. Think of it this way, you can nap for an hour or two, and have several dreams in which days or weeks may have appeared to have elapsed."

Eliana listened with rapt attention.
