That was the final straw. Both their eyes burned black in serious anger at the jab. Elves and goblins were mortal enemies, and polar opposites. That being said, talking time was over. They both took their aims at Alex's stubborn head, eyes blazing, and fingers twitching, they readied themselves to teach this intruder a lesson.
But Angelia appeared right in time.
"Alright boys, slow your roles. The amount of testosterone here can get a female pregnant without contact!"
"Miss Angelia, you know this disrespectful clown?"
"Aye, unfortunately I do. Put your bows down boys, it's all good."
There was a twinge of regret in both sets of eyes. It would have been nice, almost fulfuling, to pump this pompous stranger full of arrows. They made no attempt to mask their own disappointment. Alex wondered what they truly would have done if they had followed through, only to find out that he was above getting pierced by mundane things, such as arrows.
