The sleep in Alex's eyes immediately disappeared. He observed his two prized items with immense appreciation in his heart. The two previous upgrades had been of tremendous help to him in his recent battles. Without them, it would have been damn near impossible to defeat the werewolves in their large numbers.
These two current upgrades were not strange to him. He remembered them very well. To call them powerful would be a gross understatement. Both artifacts were particularly potent in both the defense against soul attacks, and in also launching of soul attacks. Naturally, there was a story behind the original aquisition of these artifacts.
Of course, a woman just happened to be the patron behind this gift.
