In the blink of an eye, Cassandra found herself in front of the ancient door. It was impossible to arrive in the span of a second, considering the distance between the temple and the Germundt mansion. But Cassandra felt like she just blinked, as she couldn't remember how she got there before the Great Ancient Library.
Her mind was out of her head, wandering to a particular place where someone might have been celebrating their existence.
She mumbled the key to the door and it opened. Without dithering, she traversed the aisle where the end pointed at the jeweled fountain. She didn't even bother to check if the first highest priest was inside.
Cassandra stood in front of the small fountain, her blank eyes gazing at the calm stirring of the water. Her eyes then traveled to the silver statue, and it landed on the jar pouring clear and crystal-like water.
