Giving back his ring
"satisfied?" she asked sadly and left for the closet. She changed from her pyjamas to a gown. Alexander already left downstairs. She ignored him and took her car key. She got to the door and two guards blocked her way.
"What are you doing Alex?" she turned back to him. Alex stood up and walked up to her.
"You can't leave so early… people will start suspecting something is up" he said and shrugged.
"And do I look like I care!! I really need to stay away from monsters like you'' She shot back at him and she was right anyway.
"So where are you heading to now?" Alex asked again.
"And how is that your business, you had better instruct those stupid dogs to leave that door else you won't like what I will do to you" charlotte said with all seriousness. He beckoned to the guards and they left the door. Charlotte just hissed and drove out. She entered the company house and met them cleaning up the house.
"Good morning guys" she managed to say and collapsed on the couch. They left what they were doing and sat beside her.
"You don't look okay are you nervous your mom will be furious you're pregnant?" Jasmine said.
"I was pregnant" she said sadly and Donald and Jasmine stared at each other.
"Stop talking in Parable please," Donald said and she smiled sadly. "I'm sorry Donald but the marriage I had with Alex was contract marriage" she said and Donald couldn't believe his ears. Josh entered and Jasmine motioned for him to sit which he obeyed.
"How is that possible? You guys looked like a real couple. Does that mean you're in love with him?" Donald asked.
"yes, stupid me fell with him during the time we lived together and we had a night together..He got to know I was pregnant yester night and this morning, he made it clear to me he is not ready to become a father, I had no option but to take the abortion Pill" charlotte said and they gasped.
"You're joking right" Donald said and she nodded negatively.
"Are you crazy? Why would you even jump into such a decision without consulting anyone? What are we friends for?" Donald and Jasmine were clearly hurt.
"So you aborted the baby,why would you make such a mistake?'' Josh said. Jasmine got up and hugged her really tight. Even though she is hurt Charlotte needed the hug because she bursted into tears and Jasmine ne let her let it out. She cried till she slept off.
Josh was really fuming. He knows Alex loves Charlotte but he is just trying to deny it. He went up stairs and came back wearing black shirt, black trousers with black cap. Everything he was wearing was black, Jasmine knew Josh already. Any time he dresses like that it means he is about doing something crazy. she quickly ran and hugged him
"Josh please" she pleaded.
"Jasmine Just Leave me alone" He said, looking away.
"We need to take things easy Josh,even though I'm upset with Alex, but Charlotte still has his ring. we need to hear her opinion" Jasmine Said and he reasoned with her
"Alright but that guy will surely hear from me" Josh said and left. Jasmine heaved a sigh of relief.
Charlotte woke up and was welcomed with spaghetti and meatballs. Immediately they finished eating, Jasmine called for a meeting.
Jasmine, Charlotte, Donald and Josh got to the sitting room and settled down.
"I will Just go straight to the point charlotte, what's your next move!" Jasmine asked.
"I don't know, i aborted the child on a condition we are going to file a devorce" she shrugged.
"But do you think he will agree to that?" Donald said thoughtfully.
"He must , if he is decent, want my drama," Jasmine said and they nodded.
"What do you think the world will say? " Josh asked.
"It's Secret so they won't know or suspect anything" Charlotte said and they nodded.
"I'm really disappointed in Alex, I wasn't expecting this at all" Joshua Said clenching and unclenching his fist.
Charlotte got to the estate and noticed someone was following her. She stepped on the accelerator and started driving roughly but the person didn't bulge. She drove to another street and parked at a corner. The Person lost the direction already. she dialled a security number.
"It's a security sir Alex appointed to follow and protect you" the security said and she heaved a sigh of relief. She ignited the engine and drove home. She met Alex at the wine bar sipping wine. She removed the ring and took Alex's hand and dropped it in it.
"It's useless to my finger now, you can have it" she said and hurried upstairs.
Dark room
There was silence in the room. Everybody stood there trembling.
"So you mean you shot him and he is still alive?" he said, sipping the alcoholic drink.
"I tried my best boss but he has some martial arts as he was really powerful," the guy that was assigned to kill Alex said bowing. So that's what you called best? He doesn't have a gun and he is still more powerful than you ?" he raged.
"I promise you to kill him next time boos'' he quickly rushed his words seeing the don kissing his gun. sweat pricked on his face.
"say that to the devil in hell" he said coldly and pulled the trigger. The people breathed a sigh of relief when he left without killing another person. They are trapped with him forever because once you sign a contract with him,you can't just leave him. People who tried him some years ago regretted it.
He left them to enjoy their life and they completely forgot he would come after them.
The day they were abducted wasn't a good day at all. After been tortured,the ladies were raped by his guards and at the end...they were all killed.
This has been a story to those working with him and the future works coming in. None dared to run away because they know its consequences but yet living with the don is like staying in the lion's den.
It's a situation between life and death!
