I was downstairs in the kitchen preparing lunch when suddenly Damian appeared.
It had been two months since he was depressed, and he had been getting better now. He was able to stay awake longer, but he still hadn't uttered a word to anyone. He mostly accompanied me and stayed silent while looking down.
“Afternoon, Damian,” I greeted him and led him to a chair in the kitchen which I had placed especially for him since he didn't want to stay away from me. He was like a puppy, tailing me everywhere I went.
“Your mom and Rai’s mom will be coming today to have lunch with us,” I told him despite him not going to answer.
“The company is going great, and I’ve learned a lot from everyone.” I began telling him what had happened at the company - the problems that Cecilia and I had faced, and the solutions we had for each problem.
