Two weeks after the incident with Clarissa, we moved back into the villa. It looked like nothing had happened there. The windows, glasses, TVs and the broken furniture looked as good as new. Damian was having a quick meeting with the general manager and left me alone in the villa.
I was putting our stuff into the master bedroom’s wardrobes just after lunch when I heard someone pressing the bell of the villa. My body stilled for a moment. Was it Clarissa? Would she come back again after Damian told her to stay away? I decided that if it were indeed her, I would be the one to ask her to stay away. I knew about her and Damian, I didn’t need to be afraid of her.
“Wait a minute,” I called out as the ringing continued. I went to answer the door, but the knocking stopped. Did the person go away? I opened the door to make sure.. and froze.
