I was shocked by his sudden confession that I couldn’t do anything except gape at him.
He laughed softly, looking at me being frozen.
“I love you, Baby girl,” he repeated as his lips grazed mine softly.
I couldn't believe my ears. I must be dreaming at the moment.
My fingers went to pinch my arm. People said if I didn't feel any pain, then I must be dreaming. I pinched again, but I didn't feel anything. I was sure then that this was just a dream.
"Baby girl?" Damian's voice reached my ears.
"This is just a dream. You can't be in love with me. You are too perfect for me. And I pinched my arms, yet I didn't feel anything. Yup, this is just a dream," I told him in my daze-state.
Suddenly he threw his head back, and the sound of his deep, masculine laughter echoed in the room.
"That's because you weren’t pinching your arm, Baby girl. You were pinching me," He grinned.
