The continuous ringing sound of my phone woke me up the next morning. I was about to answer it when it stopped. I checked who it was and saw the one name that would always bring dread to my body.
I quickly washed my face, brushed my teeth, wore my panties and Damian’s shirt, and went downstairs to search for him.
I opened the study door and saw Rai’s dad with him.

I sat down and saw the photos that Jeremiah had given me. I was mortified to think that they had seen it, that I instinctively reached out to take those away.
“Baby girl..” Damian stopped me with a gentle voice as he touched my hand.
