“Urghhh..” I stretched my whole body and opened my eyes.
It was light outside. I smiled softly as I remembered my dream. I had a dream about Rai. It was strange, but it was him, nonetheless. It had been so long since I dreamt of him, and it made me miss him.
“Baby girl..” I heard Damian’s voice from behind me at the same time I felt his hand caressing my arm.
I turned around and saw him fully dressed, lounging on the other side of the bed, looking at me worriedly. I wiggled my body to get close to him, and my hand and leg went around his body.
“Good..” What time is it now? Morning? Noon?
“Good afternoon, Baby girl.” I heard him chuckling.
I looked at his beautiful face to smile at him. I just realized I had overslept. He must have done with his meeting for the day, seeing as how he was dressed in his suit.
“Good afternoon, Damian.” I reached out my hand to caress his cheek.
He took my hand and pressed my palm against his cheek before angling his head to kiss my palm.
