“Baby girl, what Clarissa did to you was unacceptable. I don’t want to involve her parents, but we have no choice,” Damian said before calling Mr. Chow.
Damian told Mr. Chow how Clarissa had slapped me again. I didn’t tell Damian that Clarissa had threatened me or that I had tried to threaten her. I didn’t want him to worry.
“Katarina, I’m so sorry. We are so very sorry for our daughter’s behaviour.” Mr. Chow apologized to me on the phone.
Mr. Chow kept apologizing profusely to me. He was embarrassed by Clarissa’s behavior. I felt bad about him having to apologize over and over again to me, so I assured him that I was okay, that it didn’t hurt, even though I wasn’t okay and it hurt. It wasn’t his fault at all, it was Clarissa’s. She should be the one apologizing to me. Mr. Chow promised to talk to Clarissa about it, but I had a feeling that no one could control Clarissa, not even her own parents.
