Kalisto had been trying to test whether the Death King he knew was still the Death King he knew. He tried asking some simple questions about himself to the Death King, and surprisingly the Death King who already felt like family to him suddenly felt like a completely stranger.
"Then what do you do next?" Abigail asked.
"What I did was..."
Kalisto continues his story. He told that when he felt these doubts within himself, he had to seek the truth. He tried to go to the Death King and ask if he was the real Death King or not.
"Your Highness, pardon my impoliteness, I wanted to ask you something," Kalisto said. "This is something important to me because there is doubt in my heart."
"Fine, just ask," the Death King said.
"Are you the real Death King or not?" Kalisto asked.
As soon as Kalisto asked that, the Death King burst into laughter. He laughed so hard that the sound of his laughter spread throughout his royal palace.
