# New York City 1940
Gertrude held herself tight as she walked down the bustling streets of mid century New York. She held tightly to a glass necklace with a star of David on it. Gertrude and her family had escaped the grasps of the Third Reich in Germany but her family had been separated. Her twin sister ended up in Finland while Gertrude ended up in New York City.
Gertrude was a looker by the day's standards. As she made her way through central park she heard the unmistakable tone of Nazi rhetoric. She gazed over to her left to see a crowd forming around a small area.
"The Jews are what caused the great depression! The Jews are what caused the Bolshevik revolt in Russia! The Jews are behind the Civil Rights movement! The Jewish race is responsible for all the world's problems!" Someone shouted. Gertrude made her way over there to see what was going on.
As she walked she noticed that the man espousing these horrid beliefs was a Tiny man on the ground yelling into a Mic. Besieging the man on the ground was a crowd of red blooded Americans many of which were boxing their heads in agreement.
She quickly made haste in that direction. Her heart raced as she got closer and she thought about doing what she planned to do. She planned to step on the tiny man. Now Gertrude was a committed pacifist and throughout her life she was reluctant to kill bugs. However, memories of oppression flooded her mind and she felt a tremendous anger inside herself.
Upon making it to the area she walks up to him in a continued stride.
"A government for the Aryan people!" Shouted the tiny agitator. Gertrude without a hint of pause stepped on him. She felt the bones crack to dust under her foot. She didn't even twist her foot to smear him. She just stepped on him as if she didn't see him and just kept walking.
The crowd erupted in dismay at her but she ignored them and kept on walking. The crowd surrounded the tiny man only to realize he was dead.
# Rural Finland
In Finland Gertrudes sister Helga was living in a rural cabin on her own. She suffered from severe anxiety due to the Russian invasion of her adopted homeland. She surveyed the house constantly and on one go through she found a Tiny Soviet soldier in the middle of her house.
"Ah!" She shrieked
"Please miss, it's so cold and I just want to get warm." This man pleaded.
Helga ran out of the room and into the next one she put on her favorite high heels and rushed back into the room to find the man trying to get away.
"Oh no you don't you communist scumbag." Helga screamed. She slammed her foot down on the tiny man crusheming his bones. His brain was crushed to mush as his skull was reduced to dust. His body was sliced by the soles on her shoe. She then rubbed her foot left and right vehemently smearing him to oblivion.
Once she lifted her foot she gazed upon the remains of the man and said.
"What have I done?"
