"You can't die." The voice of God was like a lightning bolt that suddenly struck in broad daylight.
Faerie's palms briefly trembled as she listened to a statement that seemed inviolable.
"How can you die when the storyline hasn't started yet?" They asked in very dignified voices as well as with pressure, which managed to send chills down Faerie's entire body.
Faerie gulped timidly and carefully put the teacup back on the table, afraid to spill it, let alone break it.
"So... What's my guarantee?" Faerie asked after managing to calm her breathing.
If 'can't die' was a form of guarantee given by God, then Faerie would gladly accept it.
With the 'immortality' she had during her time in the novel world, Faerie was able to move freely without fear. Thus, completing the contract would be very easy!
When Faerie intends to kiss the face and feet of the God who has been kind to her, God has again undermined her spirit and hope.
The God shook their head. "Of course not."
