After waking up, Guo Peihua kept telling the doctors and nurses about his out-of-body experience.
He wanted to tell the nurse, who was drawing his blood and was too busy to listen to his nonsense.
But Guo Peihua didn't care whether the nurse wanted to listen or not and vividly described his bizarre experiences while he was unconscious: the dark abyss, voices whispering in his ear, and a distant glimmer of light, and so on.
"Really, don't disbelieve me, my soul really left my body. During the rescue in the operating room, I felt myself floating up, suspended in mid-air, clearly seeing the doctors performing surgery on me."
Being materialists, the medical staff couldn't possibly believe his story, deeming it hallucinations or abnormal brain cell activity.
Once the nurse finished drawing blood, she looked at Guo Peihua expressionlessly, turned off the IV line valve, and said to another nurse, "Let's get the doctor to sedate him; he's a bit agitated."
