They need to review all the test results of the patients they manage, specifically the new ones. Any abnormal results need to be analyzed, and if it's something outside their field of expertise, they would need to arrange a consultation.
Next, they would adjust medical orders based on the patients' conditions, order various new tests, monitor the condition of patients who underwent surgery for signs of post-operative changes - whether there is any inflammation around the operation site, or any abnormal volumes of drainage. For those who haven't had surgery yet, they need to schedule it.
