After a busy day of surgeries, Yang Ping took a shower in the operating room's changing room.
There were shampoos, shower gels, and towels in the locker too. Taking a shower before getting off work made the walk home a lot more comfortable, instead of being sweaty and sticky all over.
Song Zimo was resting on a chair, while Little Five, Zhang Lin and Fatty were smoking. Fatty had bought some imported cigarettes from the duty-free store and they were all sharing.
"Isn't it strange that even though it's written on the packet that smoking is harmful to health, it's not banned like drugs are?" Fatty squashed a cigarette pack and fell into a contemplative silence.
"This question of yours might make a good PhD thesis in economics. You're asking in the wrong place," Zhang Lin replied, exhaling a puff of smoke.
