The energy shield delay of 21 minutes was not just a simple matter of delaying the Blue Star People by 21 minutes; the entire process exhausted a massive amount of energy from the Blue Star side.
Originally, the Blue Star People could have breached the energy shield in just 5 minutes, with most cultivators depleting less than 10% of their spiritual energy. After taking down the Luapei Volcano Spring Eye, they could move on to the next Spring Eye without stopping.
But now it was different.
It took the Blue Star People 26 minutes to breach the energy shield, and a full 26 minutes of output caused most Blue Star Cultivators to lose over 50% of their internal energy.
Because of this, the Blue Star Cultivators needed a significant amount of time to recover and resupply before they could attack the next Spring Eye.
Even with the Energy Cans open for supply, recovery would still take about 5-6 hours.
These 5-6 hours, that was the sweat and hard work earned by the two defense amulets!
