Stepping over the carcass of the Steel Warhorse, Mu You continued forward.
After traversing a dark corridor, a set of ascending stairs appeared ahead.
"Finally, it looks a bit like a tower..." Mu You breathed a sigh of relief.
Just as he was about to step onto the staircase to ascend to the second floor, a ghostly blue shadow suddenly attacked from beside him, like some kind of beast, acting later but arriving first, dashing up the stairs before him and disappearing into the darkness above.
"What was that?" Mu You looked towards the staircase, puzzled. The shadow had passed too quickly, hardly giving him the chance to get a clear look.
"I have finally found you!"
At that moment, a familiar voice rose from behind Mu You.
Mu You instinctively looked back, but there was nothing there; the voice seemed to be coming from the surrounding walls.
"Don't be nervous, it's me!" The voice came through again, this time Mu You was certain it was Bard's voice.
"Lamp God?"
