"Okay." I flashed a hyperbolic smile. "I'm coming. What's the dress code?"
"There is no dress code. Wear what you like."
Seconds after he replied like that, the Ferris wheel stopped the baskets one by one and arrived at our baskets. He then jumped away without saying a word of goodbye. I just eyed his jacket as he sauntered forward shoving his hands into his pockets. My lips pursed obliquely, thinking again of our conversation while in this room.
"Jeez! You're sitting with Lancaster??" Bianca pressed her lips together with her palms. "How does it feel? Is he looking sexier?"
My eyeballs roll. "Just normal." I shrugged. What did Bianca think it would feel like? Sitting near Lancaster had no effect except for my blood pressure rising. "He asked me to a school party. You know about that party, right?"
