"What do you mean?" Corale asked.
Vega bit her lower lip. She couldn't possibly say the reason behind this was Corale herself. She didn't know the 'potion' would have any side effects. She would ask Altair this later.
"You know why Vyrion suddenly changed?" Corale asked again, Vega who was hesitant to answer reinforced what she said.
"It shouldn't be like this," Vega told half of it sadly. "I just wanted Vyrion to be gentler with you."
"What did you do to Vyrion?" Corale asked curiosity, "he admitted he was in love with me. And also he has powers like being able to bring up things!"
Vega could see from the bouquets floating around Corale that it was Vyrion's doing. She couldn't believe the effect would go this far.
Showing their power to Corale was something that was forbidden.
Vega hopes The King doesn't get angry about this. Her whole body shuddered at the mere thought of the possibility, "Sorry, Miss Corale, this is all I can say." She regretted, looking sadly at her. "Vyrion, do you remember that we are not allowed to show our power carelessly?"
Corale sighed in disappointment. Why should it be hidden? Is it something forbidden or else? "You can't be serious." She knows this far, and Vega chooses to keep her in the dark?
Ridiculous.
"I warn you not to take his words seriously," Vega warned her. "you falling in love is also something we don't want."
We?
Do you mean Vyrion and Vega...?
"You guys are dating?" Corale asked hesitantly. Since they had lived together in the castle.
"The relationship between Vega and I will never change in that direction," Vyrion is the one calmly confirmed. "You don't have to worry."
Corale glanced doubtfully. Worried? She didn't feel that way.
"I forbid you to fall in love with Vyrion, Miss Corale," Vega informed, emphasizing every word she said to show she was serious. "I will find the cure for Vyrion. Before that happens, I want you to keep your distance from him."
"You can't stop someone from falling in love, Vega," protested Vyrion quickly. "love can't be controlled the way you want it to."
"As you are now," Vega scold him. "what you felt was just an illusion. You will thank me once this matter is over, Vyrion."
Vyrion didn't reply, instead staring intensely at his palm.
Vega refocused her attention on Corale who had been silent for a while, "Please, don't take his every word to heart. I am begging you. Because I don't want to do something I don't want to if you fall in love with him."
Coral nodded. Although she didn't yet know what had caused Vyrion to change so drastically, she knew her feelings were just an illusion.
The Vyrion she knew had no more feelings for her.
Vega carved a tiny smile. She can rely on Corale who is still sane, "Thank you for understanding, Miss Corale. Then excuse me." With that, she slowly walks away.
"..."
The room fell into silence for a moment.
"No way..." Vyrion muttered softly with hints of disappointment.
"Hmm?"
"If it's just an illusion, there's no way my heart would flutter around you," Vyrion calmly, gazed lovingly at her. "This feeling is real as it can be."
Corale did not immediately reply. Uninformed, she said what she understood about Vyrion's situation, "What you feel is not right," she says. "you didn't behave like this yesterday, Vyrion."
"Hm…" Vyrion mumbled, interested in Corale's opinion. "could you explain in more detail what you mean?"
"Well," Corale lowered her head, covering her gloomy face at the memory of Vyrion's behavior so far which mainly was bitter rather than sweet, "You never once showed any interest in me." She paused for a moment to take a deep breath. "you always push me away."
"Sounds like me," Vyrion muttered, did not deny he act that way.
Corale stared in confusion at the meaning of Vyrion's words.
"You didn't explicitly say I hate you," Vyrion says. "whatever Vega gave me just made me more open about my feelings."
"Why do you think like that?" Corale asked curiously. Who knew she might get information from Vyrion about 'who' he was.
"Isn't it obvious? Having you near me makes me feel various positive feelings, including the desire to have you, touch you, and even kiss your cute lips. If this isn't love, I don't know what else."
Corale falls silent. What Vyrion said was so bold and sweet that one would be touched to hear it, but she didn't feel anything since she knew his previous behavior. It was completely different from yesterday when she felt hot when Zoe teased her as Vyrion's girlfriend.
"You look displeased," Vyrion says, "are my feelings just one-sided? No wonder I'm not open about my feelings because you don't feel the same way."
Corale wanted to say that wasn't true, but remembering that she didn't know how Vyrion felt yesterday, she chose silence.
"See? I was right," Vyrion slightly pleased. "there can't be an illusion."
"Illusion," Corale muttered weakly, "I..." She thought for a moment. "excuse me." This whole thing was so confusing that she didn't want to think about it anymore. She needs fresh air.
"Where are you going?"
Corale ignored Vyrion's question, she rushed to her bedroom intending to get ready to start her day. But she gasped in shock to see him in her room even though she didn't let him in, "What are you doing here!?"
"It's obvious isn't it?" Vyrion approached without a problem. "I don't want to be apart from you."
Corale understood Vyrion's feelings, she had fallen in love too, but what she did know was unlike anything she had ever experienced, "You know you have to respect someone's privacy, right?"
"Yes," Vyrion replied slightly disappointed. "I can't help it, my body moves on its own… wanting to be near you."
Corale gulped nervously, "Can you hold on for me? Just minutes."
Vyrion innocently shook his head.
Whatever Vega gives, the effect is so strong that Vyrion refuses to listen to anyone, just focusing on pursuing her love.
"You have to~!" Corale scolded him, ignoring the heat on her cheek. "I need some time alone to do activities, like..." Her cheeks were getting hotter, she was sure she blushing now. "take a shower and change clothes."
"Oh, that…" Vyrion chuckled. "I can handle it." He raised his hand, and in the blink eye, Corale had changed.
Corale lowered her head to look at her body, "Whoa—!" she was surprised to find herself wearing a white long dress with a small crown on top of her head. "this is not my everyday outfit! I'm not a princess."
"Is that so? But, you are so beautiful in this," Vyrion says innocently. He thought because they lived in the castle, Corale was a princess.
Corale slapped her forehead. It won't end soon, isn't it? "Just give me ordinary clothes."
Vyrion raised his hand, then with lightning speed, she wore simpler clothes.
"Thank you." Now Corale could get ready to meet Gabriel.
