Present Day
"Girls, come down for breakfast or you'll be late for school" Mom called from the dinning area
"Okay mom" we replied from our rooms
My sisters still dislike me even after 6years, I'll constantly bully me when mom isn't at home or when we are in school. I didn't report because I wanted them to see me in a different prespective , I just wan our relationship to go back the way it was 7years ago.
As we were coming down from the stairs Lia brought her legs forward and I tripped and fell down the stairs. I cried in pain, I think I springed my wrist. Mom ran to me
"Hun are you okay, let me see your wrist, how did you fall" she asked with concerned voice just like a mother would . She never for once accused me of killing my dad. Everytime I remember it I always cried.
"I missed a step and fell, I was rush so I won't be late, I'm sorry" I said reassuring her that am okay just a spring.
"Oh darling you have to be careful, wait let me get the first aid kit" she went to the bathroom and got the first aid kit, she rubbed ointment and bandaged my wrist. Before kissing my hands.
"Aww thanks mom"
"Anything for my babies, come on eat you'll be late"
"Uhh mom we ain't babies anymore we are women now" Mia said trying to fake an angry face but ended up laughing
"Okay women eat up" my mom laughed as well.
As we walked into the school Lia turned to me blocking my path.
"Just because you didn't tell mom I did it doesn't change anything Lia, I'll always dislike you for killing dad. Killer" she pushed me and I almost fell but held my ground. She and Mia both laughed before walking into the hall going to meet with their friends who also call me a killer.
'Dad I she you were alive, I missed you, I'm so sorry, Mia and Lia hate me I don't blame them it was my fault, forgive me dad'
My eyes were watery but I cleaned them before going into the hull. It was a new term everybody gathered in the hull for announcement by the principal Mr Lewis Jonathan.
The principal came up the podium and greeted everyone.
"Good day students and welcome back, this is third term, a term that 12th graders will be graduating and others will be entering a new class. This term there will be a quiz competition, sports tournaments, dancing competition and so on , you'll will be grouped." there was an uproar by the students, everybody started talking about what games they'll play and what group they'll joined.
"keep quite!" the principal ordered and we all when silent.
" You'll are to participate in any of the event, except from the graduating students, you'll are to participate in the sports tournaments, it was approved by the government and there will be scholarship to any college of your choice as along as you pass the entrance exam"
All the graduating students shouted and jubilated.
After the announcement we all went to our classes. The day went by faster than usual, guess times running fast now.
" I'll be going to the book store you girls can go" Gia told her sisters
"Like we were gonna wait for you" Mia snorted
"Thank goodness, we won't drive home with a killer, you smell" they both laughed and went to the car waiting at the gate.
Gia walked to the book store seven blocks away from her school. As she walked her mind was full of thoughts.
'Dad I wish you were here, everyone hates me, everything sucks , my sisters ,my classmates, my friends they all hate me, maybe am a curse, you and mom weren't expecting me, why did I come to this world'
She kept thinking and regretting, she wasn't looking were she was going to till she bumped into someone, and fell to her butt.
"Hey look where you going to young lady" a middle aged man said, stretching his hands to her, she took his hands and he helped her up.
"Sorry, I wasn't concentrating, thank you sir" Gia said putting a side on her face.
"You welcome" The man said and walked away.
Gia got to the book store and entered, luckily there wasn't much people there.
"Good Mrs Smith, how are you today" Gia greeted mid-age woman behind the counter.
"Oh my lovely Gia I'm good today, what about you" Mrs Smith asked with a smile on her face.
"I am fine Mrs Smith, I'll go look for what I need"
"Okay dear".
Gia walked to the book shelf, looking through the books, she went the the Shelf with capital later A on it, that's were all the books that the first laters begins with A, but didn't see what she was looking for. She went back to Mrs Smith to ask her if the books weren't distributed to them.
"Uhm Mrs Smith, I'm not seeing the new edition of Atlantis academy, wasn't it distributed to the store"
"Oh the books came in today so I haven't put the in the shelf, go to the hull, the last door by your right , you'll see the books in the box" Mrs Smith said point her to the direction she'll follow.
"Thank you" said Gia
She walked to the passage Mrs Smith pointed , moving towards the end of the hull, when she heard a man and a woman's voice, sims like they were quarreling about something. ' We should carry her now, we'll go for the other later' she heard the males voice
'Who are they planning to take, are they kidnappers, why do they want to take someone, for ransom or what' she was thinking when she heard the female voice 'No if we take her now, it will look suspicious, she knows the library attendant very well, you know she sent her here to get something if we take her now the woman will come looking for her, if she doesn't see her, she'll notify the police and you know the dean said we shouldn't do anything to notify the police or government, or else they will come for her, so well only protect her from afar'
'Who are they talking about, wait they said she knows the attendant very well, and she sent her here to come look for books, they are talking about me, should I run, or should I find out who they are first, and who will come for me, I don't understand, I'll find out who they are '
She thought and nodded to her self before opening the door to her left slowly trying to peek if she'll see their faces, but to her surprise she saw no one, she pushed the door open, but only saw and empty room.
' What in the two fucks, there's no one here, I'm I hallucinating, I'm sure I heard two people talking from here, but why is the room empty, I think I was hallucinating' thought with a confused face.
" I'll just take the books quickly and leave" she said to her self , before walking to the last door.
"Mrs Smith thank you I'll be going now" she said as she paid for books and leaving.
"Alright, take care dear!" Mrs Smith shouted loud enough for her to hear.
"Bye!" She shouted back.
'Should I take a cab home or should I walk home' she was contemplating on it but settled on taking a cab home.
