Chapter 6 - Metal Pipe

As Jamie leaned back on a broken down concrete block, that barely reached her waist, her ears caught hold of the sound of someone running towards her. Confusion took hold of her as she wondered if her, current body's, gang members had forgotten a member back at school.

She felt it was best for her to invite them to just watch the fight. After all, the fight seems to be dying down and there is no point in giving the other side some extra injuries. However, before she could make a sound she felt a sharp pain on her right shoulder.

Before her mind could process what had happened, her body made a quick turn and side step to dodge, but it wasn't quick enough to help her dodge the second attack.

The sound of a metal pipe swooshing through the air and making impact with the side of her head can barely be heard over the yelling coming from the brawl going on a bit away from her.

Jamie laid on the broken concrete floor with her consciousness fading slowly. As her surroundings gradually became dull, the last thing that caught her eyes was a bright blue patch with a glaringly golden bird stitched to the chest of the person creeping closer to her. For reasons only her subconscious would know, her heart began to squeeze at that patch of blue, gold and even more so to the letters stitched underneath. 'G.P.H.S'.

...

Not noticing when she passed out. Jamie found herself tied to a chair by her arms, chest and feet. She was surrounded by four dull gray walls and a small window to her right with metal bars that looked to be recently welded into it.

Jamie knew there was no way for her to break out of her current bindings. Although, she had learned how to avoid a kidnapping as a child, she has never once learned how to escape, once captured. So, she began conserve her energy and think of ways to get out. If the person who damaged her skull decides to make a visit, she might as well try talking them into letting her go as plan A but if that fails the energy will be used to execute plan B.

As Jamie finalized her plans, she found her head throbbing at her second problem. The person who kidnapped her could not have been a part of the school Steff and the others were fighting against, their school uniforms are red.

As for any other school in the area...she had zero clue. As a publicly certified book worm Jamie spent eighty to ninety percent of her time with her nose in a book. And so, to this day she can only recognize three places: her home, her school and book store. The main point is...she has no clue what school has a blue uniform.
