hrs before the funeral.
"pls have some rest!"
"aah..queen Victoria you must have some sleep!" the head maid of my pavilion said, I didn't care about what they were saying but this caused my silence to break!
"Don't CALL ME THAT!"
After looking at the walls and leaning my back on the bedside for a long time not being interested in what they were saying I finally said a word and gave the head maid that sharp look!
"but the previous king would..."
"ALL OF U GET OUT! LEAVE ME ALONE!"
the other maid: "my queen.."
I aggressively shouted: "I TOLD U TO NOT CALL ME THAT! OUT! NOW! ALL OF U"
Laura dragged them out telling them "I'll deal with the que...aah, I mean the princess!"
she came close and sat by my side.
"princess there are some things that are just out of our hands..it's that sometimes we have to just accept our fate"
"Just say something princess.." Laura continued.
I froze I couldn't bring myself to do anything, I only heard my thoughts which were killing me slowly and thinking of the future ahead of me which only seemed dark and gloomy!
"plz, princess at least have some sleep. rest just a little bit!" Laura sadly said.
"just this time laura....let's exchange places.." I said
not only she was my maid, but she was also my true friend, she always brought me to light, her cute look, brown hair bangs and bun and those lousy dresses of hers she was humble and those cheerful laughs of hers...I hope she stays safe and sound I think that there is no place for such innocence here.
"no...I'm sorry but it's not safe for either of us, disturbance is everywhere....eyes are on you..., you must know that you're in danger!" Laura replied.
"I'm sorry Laura, just blow out the candles and sleep in my place. it will be quick"
Laura"....h..."
before she could continue I had already left the room in the maid's black rope and the candle stick, it must be calm now in the palace!
I knew sth was going on! I had to check myself!
...
"lady Elizabeth Princess Olivia has just arrived, she demands your attendance at her suite," the maid said.
"Who does she take me for??" aunt Lizzy said.
"Be CAREFUL Lizzy!, ...HOW COULD YOU!" aunt Olivia rushed inside with her daughter Katherine.
the maids gathered and started gossiping!
"IT MUST BE YOU...YOU KILLED OUR BROTHER!!"
she rushed forward gripping aunt Lizzie's hair, the yellow bun fill, aunt Lizzie was astonished by her behaviour and struggled to try to free herself and push her away!
"PRINCESS OLIVIA!,....remember your place LEAVE MY MOTHER AT ONCE!" my cousin Goerge said holding aunt Olivia's hand.
"ENOUGH!!" a voice from the back stunned them all, they bowed
it was grandpa, the previous king Antonio.
"WHAT DID YOU LEAVE for those FILTHY COMMONERS!" he continued.
" Father, we all know! she resented us all after discharging her from all her titles.!!" muddled aunt Olivia said.
"SHUT UP!!!,...GUARDS!!!." grandpa shouted!
"yes, my lord!" the guards rushed in.
"I give an announcement, IN THIS PALACE...CUT THE TONGUE OF ANYONE BRINGING UP THE LATE KING AND QUEEN!" grandpa ordered.
"Oooh...."
"ha...h.."
"oh ....m..."
maids and princesses all gasped in disbelief! ...it's determined then!
the previous king gave them that sharp look, it was enough to silence them all, his white hair and beard and the crutch he leans on always stand up for him!
after that, the king took his leave and the guards followed him.
.....
in the underground room where they preserved bodies before funerals.
it had a black gate, on both sides, there were lighted candle holders, 3 guards were standing by the gate, the walls and the ground were rocky which was too hard to walk on! you could see nothing but the faint yellow light of the candles.....
" cu..this.."
"ooh....sh@it.."
"I hear footsteps coming from this side," the guard said
"who's there?!" 2 guards started walking forward...
"sh. I t...not know!!"
