Time seemed to be passing exceptionally slow for Ayumu, with nothing to do he spent his whole day looking outside the window watching people pass by carrying on in their lives from dawn till dusk and once all the commotion came to an end, he would look up at the starless sky with just one thought in his mind "Looks like my existence doesn't really have any effect on this world why was it then that I survived that fall".
He was desperate a little too desperate to see what lied ahead for him, he would try his best to look for stars amongst that cloudy sky those tiny sparkling dots being his flickering hope which he could see being destroyed by the collective efforts of humanity
In that cloudy night sky he saw himself, Once the sky was young and engulfed with sparkling pinpricks, it would be the guiding light to the lone lost adventurer in the dark, it would be the perfect canvas for the kids who could make anything they wanted connecting dots, it would be the best blanket for lovers to embrace and fall into slumber underneath but suffering one blow after another from the acts of human cruelty bit by bit it lost his light as darkness came strolling, all the hopes were shrouded by darkness as the sky became pitch black there was nothing left to see above anymore as all that shone was scragged.
Amidst that dark sky one star still flickered trying its best to be someone's hope, it was only a matter of time before even it finally croaked
The sounds coming from the lobby resonated in Ayumu's room breaking the silence of the night, it seemed like they were having an argument over room placement. Steps headed towards Ayumu's room and greeted his door with a gentle knock, the door slightly creaked open and a nurse asked Ayumu if he was still awake
Nodding in request to her query Ayumu inclined his bed a bit, she approached him and asked him if he would be comfortable sharing the room with a girl as they couldn't provide her a bed without his consent (For the time being Ayumu was paying the bill for the whole room as he still wanted his privacy and didn't want it to be invaded and therefore the staff kept that room as the last resort)
She explained to Ayumu that this was the last bed they had currently available in the hospital and if he refused then they would have to turn those people away and it would be extremely difficult for them to find another hospital such late at night
Ayumu turned his eyes away from the nurse for the moment and gazed upwards towards the still flickering star and thought to himself if it is truly a night sky made especially for me then maybe I need to be someone's hope one last time
He faced the nurse again and asked her what was the condition of the patient and for how much time she would be around depicting her without any filter that he might be willing to accept the proposal only if it was for a short amount of time
The nurse told him that she was having troubles in her stomach and they wouldn't be able to specify the duration of her stay until a proper diagnosis took place, before Ayumu could make his mind the door opened once more and the silhouette of a broad and tall man covered the entrance
The man walked closer to Ayumu and bowed down to him begging him to let her daughter stay there after seeing that there was no way he could refuse him. He patted the back of that man and told him that there was no need for him to bow down to someone his son's age and said he'd have no trouble sharing the room with his daughter
The man thanked Ayumu for being so kind and left the room along with the nurse to complete the paperwork for the allotment of room with a face half filled with tears and half filled with smile. Ayumu just lay there in thought "So that's what it means to be a father, willing to throw away every bit of his dignity just so his daughter doesn't have to roam around in pain amidst the night. I doubt I could do the same for anyone, bowing down to a kid half my age, I'd much rather be willing to be stoned than having to face such humiliation"
Kind of excited to know what his new roommate would be like Ayumu decided he would stay up until they were finished with formalities and checked in, in the mean time he entered his dreamland travelling all the way to Spain a country famous for a ton of stuff with the top of the reasons being it's craze for football, excellence in the liquor creation especially beer and wine, not to mention the tomato festival which calls people from all across the globe to come and be a part of and the two most extravagant pieces of art the world famous dance flamenco performed by utterly gorgeous woman and the brave dance of death performed by men titled Matador alongside a feisty bull the infamous Corrida De Toros also known as Bullfighting.
The morning in the beautiful city of Barcelona starts for Ayumu with a beer in one hand and a beautifully fluffed Spanish omelette in another while he enjoyed the view of Mt. Tibidabo from the balcony it was the best possible way to start the day with a lot planned for later.
Taking his time with the exquisite meal Ayumu started preparing for the next part of the trip it was the day of great importance in the city the two long rivals were bound to face each other in a ferocious fight for the title of the Spanish league. It was time for El Clasico the name given to the football match between long rivals Football Club Barcelona and Real Madrid taking place at none other than Camp Nou.
Ayumu wore his kit and painted his face in full support of FCB and left for the venue once reaching there he could feel the tremors of the yelling of fans in the stadium all the way out, it was a feeling of anticipation, thrill, joy, fear all at once a feeling so strong it would make any man get up from his seat as Ayumu went past security and headed inside the stadium he could see the light entering from the tunnel and once he stepped out it was a completely different view the stadium consisted of fans yelling from all the way it was so loud that you could loose your ability to hear anything it was like a drug the elevated the hormones of a person instantly and send him to whole another dimension
Gathering himself Ayumu headed towards his seat and sat down it was still a little while before the match started so people around him tried to make small talk excited to see a foreigner, they were all very pumped up for the match that was about to unveil and in the heat of the moment even Ayumu forgot how much of an introvert he was
All the people in the segment where Ayumu was sitting made preparation for a special celebration when FCB scored a goal and taught him how to do it as well once they were all set it was about time for the players to make entrance with the first foot on the field the voice of cheers went on whole another level it was a stadium completely packed with almost 100,000 people all hooting at the same time
The match was truly a sight to behold as both sides gave there all, it was a match fitting to be mentioned in books for all eternity and after 39 minutes the ball finally got pass the Madrid's goalkeeper making it way into the net. This was the moment Ayumu was waiting for as the whole sector went in for the special wave celebration it gained so much attraction that in no time it was broadcasted during the match
The battle continued as both teams fought for another goal but at the end that was the only goal of the match and FCB ended up winning three points off of it with high chance of winning the league as well. The stadium which was so full voices started calming down slowly and slowly as the people took their departure from the stadium and after a while silence started to fill the area and no one could say barely a little time ago it was so thunderous
Making his way out Ayumu went straight for the hotel the match had been highly taxing on him too as didn't even remember the last time he had cheered or someone this much and now it was time to get the of all that exhaustion and get ready for the next day of events which consisted of watching a bullfight followed by being surrounded in the magical dance flamenco
Ayumu went straight to bed after enjoying a luxurious dinner with some wine and woke up completely refreshed for another fulfilling day ahead of him. He went to the arena where the bullfighting was destined to happen this was his first time seeing one so he didn't really know what to expect out of it but when the event started, he saw matadors messing around with a mad bull that was out foe their lives. The matadors had great skill set and were able to read each and every move of the bull in a situation where one mistake from them could have meant death they rose to the challenge and came victorious finishing the bull at the end and were awarded by the ear of the bull as an act of their success. It was a sight that could leave people with jumbled emotions it depicted the strength of the matadors rising against the fear of death while at the same time a bull was put down not thinking much about it Ayumu carried forward to the next events menu
It was a beautiful restaurant handcrafted for fine dining Ayumu had already reserved a seat for himself knowing full well todays main attraction was the presentation of the Flamenco dance and being a guy Ayumu had been looking really forward to this to end his trip but before he could witness the dance the place was struck by an earthquake and the building started to shudder and panic started to spread all around the quake struck the place with a lot of intensity and eventually the huge chandelier in the center that covered more than half part of the restaurant came falling down with more than 15 people in it's way including Ayumu just before the chandelier was about to crush Ayumu and others sending them to an unescapable death the door to Ayumu's room opened and the girl who was to join Ayumu as a roommate walked in saving him from death in their first encounter.
