Then, night came. The whole world was enveloped in pure, crimson darkness. Even the moon in the sky was red in color.

Aside from that, there was also an eerie, hidden power that loomed the night, curing and repairing the plants that had been destroyed in the day.

Looking at the spooky blood moon, Qin Feng realized that this entire phenomenon in the Blood River Realm was caused by this massive moon.

"Should we inform the boss? Ayshan is here! It's gotten really dangerous now!"

The resources around there were scarcer than the entrance of the realm; however, there was less fighting happening here.

This, of course, was all expected.

After a huge dimensional crack like that happening, this would inevitably have attracted the attention of many. And as many people congregated at the realm's entrance, battles would break out. This was why and how the bloodbath warzone was formed.

And as more and more fighting happened, Gorefiends too had greatly multiplied in number. This meant that the Gorefiends had mostly flocked to the dimensional cracks and away from their original habitat.

Still, even though there were not as many Gorefiends in this area, the mutant plants were still very vicious.

Suddenly, a spatial tunnel was torn open in the sky before a small aircraft flew into view. The aircraft then approached Qin Feng's aircraft and docked into it.

A group of men cloaked in white lab coats walked onto Qin Feng's deck. These men were not particularly strong in presence; but they had a manic confidence spreading across their face.

They were the researchers that came from Fengli's headquarters. And their leader was a young boy—Chu Fan.

Chu Fan's small aircraft was a special model—specifically remodeled to be both a transport and a lab. The purpose of Chu Fan's visit was to report on his research findings to Qin Feng.

Flipping through the research papers presented to him, Qin Feng's face turned stern.

Chu Fan was definitely a genius. He could very well be smarter than Z. The new awakening serum that he had developed was so effective that it reached 100% chance of awakening in normal human beings.

However, there was something mentioned in the papers that bothered Qin Feng.

"So, you're saying that this serum isn't suitable for every human? And if I'm reading this correctly, it would be better for them to just acquire their powers in the overlapped space? But this would mean that they would not learn to use their internal energy and consciousness—awakening only their physical strength…"

The ultra beast corpses that they had brought back were thoroughly studied. As a result, they discovered a unique mold on them. This mold could trap energy in it and change a human's body. When absorbed, the human body would be altered and attain the ability to absorb energies. They could then acquire energy by devouring anything that was brimming with energies or runes, resulting in the body becoming powerful and resilient.

However, there was a catch—this would only strengthen their bodies and awaken their physical potentials, but not awaken their internal energy and consciousness.

The good part about this way of awakening was that one could keep on getting more and more energy like this without fail—as long as they kept on devouring energy.

Due to the mold's influence, no one could harness internal and conscious energies in the Fettering Lands.

The researchers had an interesting hypothesis as to how this happened. They theorized that this mold had the ability to absorb and lock internal energy and runes within them in order to strengthen the physical elements of a living creature's body. It had genetically altered every living being in the Fettering Land to become energy blackholes that kept on absorbing energies and runes around them.

This meant that as long as the mold and the creatures they created existed in the Fettering Land, there would be no internal energy and runes found in the air. If one needed to acquire power, he would need to devour another living being.

This was why the ability users and ancient warriors felt as though their bodies were completely restricted—as though their powers were chained up.

What a depressing world!

If they were to release this version of serum—the serum that was created from these molds… would it mean that a few years later their own realm would become like the Fettering Land too?

Chu Fan, however, was not too worried about the repercussions. He smirked, "We humans are not even an overlord species in our own realm. Is there really any room for us to consider all these nuances? Chu Fan rolled an eye at Qin Feng before opening up his pocket dimension and pulling out a gun.

The gun literally looked like a toy—like a water gun.

There was a bottle-like cartridge loaded up in the gun—inside the cartridge was some kind of blue-colored liquid.

"Technology can change a society. President Qin, you will not find any weapon better than this gun in this realm."

Qin Feng stared at the blue liquid for a moment. Then, a thought hit him.

It was the blood coagulant!

He did not think Chu Fan was able to invent this thing so quickly!

Chapter 847: The Frozen Hu San

Chu Fan was indeed a genius.

The blood coagulant was something similar to the ice bullets that Qin Feng had used against the enemies in the Cinderclast Dimension. These things could freeze up blood and in turn make the Gorefiends frozen solid. This would then completely disarm these creatures and remove their abilities to infect humans.

"Not bad!" Qin Feng nodded and received the gun from Chu Fan.

Finished with his report, Chu Fan decided to carry on with his research on the Spatial Collapse. Before leaving, Chu Fan asked, "CEO, are you sure you want to release this new awakening serum? Z seems to think there is a flaw in our research."

Qin Feng frowned.

This serum could 100% awaken a human's abilities without side effects. And yet, Z thought that there was a flaw?

Then, Qin Feng recalled how Z released the black dragon.

"To be frank, I think so too. If humans were to rely only on their physical strength… it would make the species too weak."

And Qin Feng meant well too.

Then, an ordinary looking old man appeared. Taking the smoking pipe out of his mouth, the old man breathed out a thread of foggy smoke.

They had not seen each other for half a year. The old man seemed to have aged a lot during this time too.

"Mr Hu San!" Qin Feng greeted the old man respectfully.

Hu San saved his life by defeating Z for him back then. He even helped negotiate with Z to give Qin Feng three years to live. Qin Feng owed Hu San his life.

"Qin Feng, do you have this thing?"

Hu San raised his hand and revealed a crimson red crystal core about the size of a B-tier core.

Qin Feng had never met Hu San before he was reborn. As such, he did not know just how many S-tiers had arrived at the Blood River Realm. Right now, it seemed that Hu San was the only one who had arrived.

"Of course I do! How many do you want?" Qin Feng did not beat around the bush. He had not much use for these blood concentrated crystals. There was very little these crystals could benefit him; however, they were quite invaluable to the elderlies.

Other than the S-tier blood concentrated crystal, Qin Feng did not think he could acquire anything better for himself. He actually thought about selling the crystals when he got back home.

"You have a lot of these on you?"

Many had ventured into this realm. However, not many were killing the Gorefiends. On the contrary, many were killed by these bloody monsters.

Other than that, this world had some rather fearsome ultra beasts too—like the C-tier Ichortoids, Vampire Bats and Blood Vultures.

Upon hearing this, Qin Feng finally accepted it. This Snow Jade Lotus was quite valuable to him. At least, when ascending to A-tier, this lotus would be very useful.

However, after giving it a brief ponder, Qin Feng added, "How about this, sir? I'll give you a bottle of Glittering Gold Sand. This should at least cover some of those losses in this trade."

Right now, the most valuable item that Qin Feng could trade out was the Glittering Gold Sand.

And this man was indeed mad.

He was the most powerful man in the North African Republic Alliance. Well, specifically the Dark Coalition in North Africa.

He was Ayshan, the "Hellfire Ifrit"!

This man was trying to cause trouble for Hu San!

Qin Feng immediately ordered, "Spatial Seal, now!"

"Right away!" Bai Li quickly raised her hand and enveloped the snowy house with a layer of silver fog.

He raised his hand in disgust, "Heh, and just what kind of small prick are you?"

Then, a massive fire dragon was summoned from his hand, which darted straight at Qin Feng.

If Qin Feng stepped aside to evade this attack, the Spatial Seal behind him would immediately be smashed to pieces. Bai Li's Spatial Seal could not withstand a strike from an S-tier!

As such, Qin Feng could not afford to evade this attack!

Chapter 849: Ayshan's Madness

To Ayshan, Qin Feng as a B-tier aptitude user was no more than a brat.

A brat that he could kill without reasoning.

In his eyes, the fire dragon that he, an S-tier, breathed out easily would be a disastrous attack to the B-tier. Qin Feng would be powerless to withstand it.

His eyes popped out, all bloodshot. His mouth twitched, baring his white teeth along with the gum. Ayshan was like an uncontrolled beast ready to devour its prey.

The surroundings froze under Ayshan's unconstrained aura. The entire space seemed to be distorted due to the sudden spike in temperature. The brown soil under them began to melt constantly like molten chocolate. The soil then blended together into lava.

Such an intense aura was the signal of field activation.

The overwhelming force of the S-tier deterred all living creatures within a thousand-meter radius from approaching.

Of course, this place had been void of living creatures due to Hu San's presence earlier.

Bystanders beyond a thousand meters away watched in astonishment. Someone in between who recognized the S-tiers exclaimed, "The Hellfire Ifrit is enraged!"

"Ayshan, the Hellfire Ifrit! He once drowned an entire city with lava!"

"Who is his opponent? What terrible luck!"

People from various corporations were gathered here to build the fort. But when the two began to fight, most of them rushed to their choppers and fled at once. Gong Ge's group was the only one who did not and could not leave.

Currently, Gong Ge was standing beside Cleaves and they both gazed afar from the fort.

"The elect is as powerful as our lord. Jeez… Are there a lot like him in your world?" Gong Ge was obviously baffled. Ayshan's strength greatly surprised him.

"No. Elects of such degree are actually rare here. Qin Feng is out of luck today!" Cleaves said jubilantly.

Gong Ge equally gloated at Qin Feng's misfortune. "This is great. He should indeed be taught a lesson for being so greedy."

Gong Ge was delighted. But actually, what had Qin Feng taken away from him? The 100 million power credits? The money had not only kept him alive but also granted him the means to survive here.

Water spurted out from between Qin Feng's brows. The skill howled to announce its arrival to the world. Qin Feng reserved nothing and unleashed his internal strength completely. His consciousness starglobe spun madly.

Once again, water waves met with the fire waves.

However, Ayshan's force won the clash this time. The lava evaporated the sea wave and rolled on.

Qin Feng and Bai Li were situated pretty close to Ayshan. They were going to be engulfed next as the sea waves did not even delay the lava waves for a bit.

But it was too naïve to think that they would be defeated so easily.

Bai Li used her ability.

A silver gleam appeared and in the next moment, Qin Feng, Bai Li, and the igloo behind them disappeared abruptly from the spot. A moment later, they reappeared a thousand meters away.

The lava waves continued to rumble but its force was obviously insufficient to travel that far.

Ayshan was again stunned to see that. He glanced at Bai Li oddly, then guffawed at his realization. "A human-form beast. Interesting! I could enjoy this a little longer before the toy is spoiled!"

His consciousness spread quickly and everyone heard him.

Qin Feng gritted in disgust. He vowed to kill Ayshan in the future. It was a misfortune to others for such a scumbag to possess the power of an S-tier.

He was better dead.

Of course, the most important thing right now was to stall him until Hu San had completely assimilated the Blood Crystal. By then, Ayshan could no longer be as haughty as he was now.

Ayshan's attack was getting stronger and crazier. He did not move an inch but used his ability and consciousness to transform the fluffy clouds into a fiery red. Then, fire began to "rain" down from the sky.

They had both prepared to bet their lives on this final assault. Their battle intent was at the highest of all time.

This was when two S-tier auras intruded the battlefield out of the blue.

Two young-looking men came into sight. One of them was at least two-meter high with a burly figure. He did not look undersized even among the North Africans, who were generally sturdier.

The other was much lighter. He carried himself tenderly, which matched well with his good-looking face. A gold-frame glasses sparkled handsomely around his eyes.

Humans had advanced tremendously to rid themselves of most diseases and ailments. Short-sightedness was one of them. An S-tier like him would not need a pair of spectacles. It was obviously just an adornment.

The users from the North America Alliance did not recognize the two of them. They could only guess that they might have come from Huaxia judging by their skin color.

Their figures got larger and larger and they finally landed in between Ayshan and Qin Feng. It took less than five seconds from the moment they had appeared to reach in front of them.

Qin Feng immediately knew who they were, even though he could only see their backs.

One was the renowned elect from Dragon Capital—Long Yue.

While the other one was none other than Master Long, Long Yunyi.

It was no surprise that they were here. Most elects in the Long Family were already in their late years. Though they all looked young, who knew how long they had actually lived? Perhaps someone in the family was approaching the end of his or her life span.
