Chapter 748: A Warning from an S-tier

A voice yelled out loudly to the crowd.

It was Liu Hang. He had seen Qin Feng before; so, he knew how to differentiate Qin Feng's presence. After seeing that Qin Feng had disappeared into thin air, Liu Hang was already suspicious of what was going on. Thus, he quickly emitted his consciousness and spread it out to scan the area; and that was how he was able to lock onto Qin Feng that quickly.

Having fought before, Liu Hang knew just how powerful Qin Feng was. Right now his hand was still wounded; so, he did not dare to go forward to face him head on.

However, even if he could not take on Qin Feng, he could tell others about his whereabouts and have them attack him.

Meanwhile, Guan Jinhau was not able to run too far from the A-tiers. His Phantom Shift was good at creating diversions, which would allow him to escape. This meant that his qinggong was in fact not any faster than the ordinary "Disorienting Steps"; and thus, it was quite difficult for him to outrun all these A-tiers.

After hearing that someone was calling out Qin Feng's whereabouts, Guan Jinhau too yelled out joyfully, "Yeah! Not here! They're not here! They're over there!"

One of the ability users quickly scanned their consciousness at the direction they were pointing at; sure enough, they were able to locate Qin Feng and Bai Li almost instantly.

Even though Qin Feng had just learned about this qinggong, he already knew about the concepts and techniques of the Disorienting Steps. As such, it did not take long for him to master it. To add more, Qin Feng had a lot of powerful internal energy within him; so, it was quite easy for him to activate the qinggong—a martial art that relied a lot on the mastery of internal energy.

Almost instantly, Qin Feng had already zipped too hundreds of miles away! Not only that, he had also left hundreds of mirror images behind that moved toward multiple directions!

Guan Jinhau's mirror images were created from his Phantom Cape. When he fused his internal energy into it, the cape would create dozens of mirror images for him. However, Qin Feng's mirror images were created from his own dark runes. They were more in numbers; and their presence felt almost like the real person!

After seeing Qin Feng's Phantom Shift, Guan Jinhau could not help but to yell out excitedly, "Holy sh*t! What the hell?!"

He could not believe his eyes.

He could not believe that Qin Feng could use this skill only minutes after he first learned it. Not only that, Qin Feng did not have a Phantom Cape. As such, how did Qin Feng do it? Did he just create hundreds of mirror images out of thin air?

And the most shocking thing to Guan Jinhau was…

As soon as the lightning ability user got near to one of the mirror images, the black humanoid silhouette turned back and grabbed him!

Then, the other "mirror images" that were nearby dashed toward him with dark shadow-like sabers in their hands and attacked him!

The lightning ability user did not expect this to happen. It was like a split of lightning was diving straight into a pool of black ink! To add more, he noticed that his body was weakened by the shadows around him and could not move as agilely as he usually could.

Pfft!

A saber was stabbed into his abdomen. Then, in a matter of seconds, the wound was torn open rapidly.

"Argh!!"

The lightning ability user's stomach was completely ripped open, with his intestines completely crushed.

"Lightning Form!!"

The Lightning ability user activated an ability without hesitation. His body morphed into a cloak of thundering clouds and then crackled into multiple lightning zaps in various directions, trying to flee from Qin Feng's mirror images.

Yet, these shadowy mirror images still kept on lunging at the lightning zaps, like they were performing rounds after rounds of kamikaze attacks.

A few moments later, several lightning zaps were completely taken out, leaving only one small lightning ball left.

In a blink of an eye, the lightning ball morphed back into a human. The lightning ability user's mouth was bleeding; a huge hole was ripped open in his stomach.

As he tried to flee away, the ability user kept unleashing lightning zaps to defend himself against the shadowy mirror images. Yet, this did not stop them at all!

A shadowy saber had cut down the ability user's head.

Despite being an A-tier, he was no match against Qin Feng's mirror images.

Right now, Qin Feng looked more like a fearsome killer than Guan Jinhau—he was able to use the Phantom Shift and kill an S-tier!

After burning the lightning ability user to ash, Qin Feng turned briefly to collect his spatial ring and then left.

As for the others, all they could do was stand and watch. After taking a deep breath, they quickly got blinded again with greed.

As such, the participants were mostly A-tiers or members from organizations that had A-tiers at their backbones.

As such, right now there were hundreds of A-tiers in the Dark Citadel. And out of these hundreds of A-tiers, about forty of them were surrounding Qin Feng.

There were also over hundreds of B-tiers forming another layer of crowd about several hundred meters away from the A-tiers' reach; these B-tiers did not intend to watch the fight. To them, Qin Feng was just a B2-tier ability user; so, they were just there to watch a good show before dividing the loot after Qin Feng was slayed by the A-tiers.

Some of these people had their faces hidden behind disguises—they were most likely people that Qin Feng knew from the Human Alliance. In fact, Qin Feng could feel that several of their presences were rather familiar; this meant that he could have met them on a battlefield before.

Nonetheless, right now it was quite clear that they were not friends or allies.

Hovering above the ocean, Qin Feng looked at his opponents who were also doing the same above the sea waters; some A-tiers remained in the sky and looked at him from above the sky.

"Fellas, I'll give you a chance. Back off hundreds of meters away from me or die!"

Qin Feng's voice was loud but cold—it felt as cold as the ever-freezing snow that had been accumulated for millennia on a snowy mountain.

Not only that, he was also emitting a rather powerful murderous intent. This murderous intent was not something one could harness after killing a few thousand ultra beasts—it was the kind that one could only acquire after walking away from tens of thousands of corpses.

Qin Feng had slain not just ultra beasts. He had slain a whole city that was controlled by the Dark Coalition in Amazon Alliance.

The A-tiers stared at the flower as they felt a terrifying presence from it. This flower carried a tremendously potent power in it!

Yet, these A-tiers were not totally intimidated.

"Heh, that's a bluff!"

"I'll see how you are going to kill me!"

"Guys, kill him!"

Thus, the A-tiers unleashed their powers and abilities—internal energies, abilities, consciousness, everything they had!

Suddenly, a ray of silver beam flashed above everyone's head—this was a spatial ability.

In an instant, these people were transported and gathered to the same spot; and then, a huge silver cube appeared within hundreds of meters nearby.

"Spatial Lockdown… Cubic Clasp!"

Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh!

Silver rays instantly enveloped everyone and dissolved their attacks.

Meanwhile, Qin Feng's Apocalypse Bloom started to fall lower and lower. There was no way these A-tiers could evade it; so, all they could do was try their best to defend against it.

Then, the Apocalypse Bloom's petals started to drop one by one.

The people who were looking hundreds of meters away could not take their eyes off of what was happening.

"Is that some kind of spatial ability? So, did Qin Feng acquire some kind of god weapon?"

Bai Li's Cubic Clasp was like a gigantic rubik's cube, formed by twenty-seven smaller cubes inside. Each smaller cube could contain about two people inside. There was no way out for these A-tiers other than trying to endure Qin Feng and Bai Li's attacks.

Now, Qin Feng and Bai Li had teleported into the middle of the Cubic Clasp. In the very middle, there was only one A-tier.

"Die!"

Qin Feng swung his Verdant Emperor Saber. As the blade cut open the A-tier's flesh, a black flame exploded from his wound!

Then, all that was left was the other A-tier. This A-tier, though, was already struck with a huge panic attack—he knew just how powerful Qin Feng was but seeing that there were many other A-tiers taking him on together, he thought he might stand a chance against him. Yet now, he and the others were separated from one another inside this weird, gigantic, silver rubik's cube.

This meant that he was going to face Qin Feng alone. And he knew very well he could not take him on alone.

At first, when he realized that there was another A-tier trapped with him, he thought that they still had a chance. However, when Qin Feng got near them, a huge hole was punctured in his partner's skull right away.

This devastated him mentally.

"General Qin, look… it's all a misunderstanding. I was… I was backing away… and I thought I was already far enough. I didn't think I'd be trapped here too…!"

The A-tier took off his mask and revealed that he was indeed a member of the Human Alliance. This was one of the elders of an ancient warrior family. Qin Feng did not know this man; all that he knew was that this man was a stuck-up snob.

Of course, there was no need to know who this man was after today.

Qin Feng smirked. "Oh? How are you going to do that when you're dead?"

Thus, this man was killed too.

The Verdant Emperor Saber cut open several wounds on the man's body before slicing his head off.

The man whose head that Qin Feng kept was someone that he was sure was from the Dark Coalition he had seen on the bounty hunter network.

This ancient warrior, however, was just a small corporation's president. There was not much loot he could get from him. And if he left his corpse lying around, there would be others that would use it against him within the politics of the Human Alliance.

As such, it was best for him to burn his corpse whole.

With that, even if some people suspected him, Qin Feng could just pretend that he did not know about it. Also, no one had solid evidence that he was the one who killed him too—no one knew that this man was that president because he had his face covered behind a mask seconds before his death.

Then, Qin Feng started to move from one cube to another again to kill every single A-tier that challenged him.

Bai Li was too powerful. As such, even if these people were able to retaliate in time, Bai Li could still shuffle them around in a split second with her spatial powers. Not one of these men were able to survive this onslaught.

A few minutes later, Qin Feng had killed all of them—about thirty one men in there. When he walked out of the Cubic Clasp, his hand was carrying twenty six heads.

The ability users that were looking on the outside did not know what happened inside. All they saw was a huge silver rubik's cube emerge and then Qin Feng and Bai Li dashed into the cube before the gigantic black flower started to descend toward the massive cube.

All they knew was some eerie scent of blood that could be sniffed from the sea as minutes went by.

They were as clueless as a slime when they saw Qin Feng walk out of the Cubic Clasp, with a steel chain binding all the twenty six heads together in his hand.

The A-tiers were all wiped out!

And they did not dare to move a muscle, fearing that they would provoke Qin Feng's wrath against them next. Some of them started to back away, preparing to flee.

A cold shiver ran down their spines as they breathed heavily.

This Qin Feng was quite a terrifying monster. He could kill thirty A-tiers in one go!

Qin Feng dragged the chained heads and leaped into the air. He did not activate the Phantom Shift this time. In fact, he did not use any ability at all other than the ordinary qinggong.

He looked completely defenseless.

Yet, no one dared to attack him.

They backed away one step after another in the sky as Qin Feng approached them slowly.

Then, he got closer. The B-tier crowd quickly split apart, leaving a path for him to go through. They moved rather quickly and were as quiet as mice, fearing that they would invoke Qin Feng's wrath.

As Qin Feng flew away, he could feel that none of these men's consciousness dared to lock onto him. All they did was stare at him in awe as he flew away.

Qin Feng stopped and turned toward them; these ability users' faces turned grim when they saw this.

Letting out a smirk, Qin Feng summoned his hovercraft.

It was too much trouble to fly back himself. He would rather use a machine to go home.

As Qin Feng and Bai Li got onto the hovercraft, they tossed the heads into their pocket dimension before leaving.

Seeing this, the five A-tiers that decided to back off earlier wiped off the cold sweat on their foreheads.

"Gulp!"

Guan Jinhau gulped down his saliva and was thankful for his faith as he hid amongst the B-tier crowd.

When everyone got back later, word about Qin Feng's feat on Hell Island spread like wildfire.

In just one night, everyone knew about how a B2-tier ability user had slain over thirty A-tiers.

Of course, Qin Feng did not care about these gossips.

After heading back to the Dark Citadel, Qin Feng went straight back to the hotel. The people at the reception were quite shocked to see him alive and well—he was, after all, being hunted by dozens of A-tiers when they last saw him.

On the other hand, the owner of the hotel had caught wind of what happened. He was fearful of Qin Feng that he could almost worship the young man like a God, fearing that Qin Feng would murder the crap out of everyone if he was offended.

After getting back into his room, Qin Feng started to meditate to digest the powers he had absorbed. Out of the thirty one A-tiers that he killed, there were twenty three of them that were ancient warriors. After absorbing their internal energies, his internal energy had grown by 900 pools in strength.

Meanwhile, Bai Li was busy handling the loot. She took out the A-tiers' power credits and put them into her little "wallet dimension" while tossing everything else into Battlegod Tomb, leaving Xue Xingfu to handle the rest.

They acquired over 5 billion power credits from each of these A-tiers. As such, there was an increase of about 150 billion power credits in Bai Li's wallet now.

This in turn meant that Qin Feng, who was utterly broke a while ago, was now rich once more.

Qin Feng looked at one of the loot. It was a god weapon—one of the goods that was auctioned earlier.

"Wow, these greedy c*nts!"

These people even had their own god weapons. Yet, they still wanted to hunt down Qin Feng to get more treasures.

If they were not this greedy, they would most likely be basking in fame and glory right now.

Then, as he saw the sheer amount of money they got from killing those A-tiers, Qin Feng smirked, "What good timing. Just when we are penniless, these people flocked to us to give us their power credits. Well, since it's not our money to begin with… let's use up every penny of these in the auction tomorrow!"

Indeed, it was just the first day of the Dusk Dragon Auction.

This was a five-day event. As such, there were still going to be more items to be auctioned in the upcoming days. After that, Hell Island would appear.

Thus, Qin Feng and Bai Li had a restful night in their room. After learning what Qin Feng did, no one dared to attack him that night.

Meanwhile, Guan Jinhau had received about ten requests that asked him to assassinate Qin Feng. Of course, he had declined all of them.

There was no way he would try to assassinate these two again. Hell no!

Some of them were looking at him in awe; of course, there were also many that were glaring at him with hatred.

Qin Feng scanned his surroundings and saw that the people who were leering at him with anger were B-tiers. The A-tier that was leading these B-tiers noticed that Qin Feng was looking at them coldly. He quickly broke eye contact fearfully and shepherded the B-tiers away.

Bai Li frowned. "These are from the Human Alliance."

Qin Feng nodded. "One of the people I killed yesterday was an elder from an ancient warrior family. Or, it could have been one of their family members. So, it's quite natural for them to hate me!"

Of course, Qin Feng felt nothing wrong in killing these people yesterday.

The post-apocalyptic world was a dog-eat-dog world. If one dared to show mercy, he would lose and forever be damned.

As such, no one would hesitate to kill one another in this world.

And if they wanted to kill someone, they should always prepare for the consequences.

And speaking of consequences… Qin Feng spotted Liu Hang from afar. Qin Feng smirked and walked to him.

Cold sweat was rolling off of Liu Hang's forehead when he saw this. He did not know if he should flee or hide.

"Oh? Weren't you the one who told the others to chase after me yesterday? Why did you not join the chase back then? Are you all bark but no bite, hmm?" Qin Feng smirked.

Liu Hang's face reddened out of embarrassment.

More peoples' sights were fixed on him now.

It was just human nature. When the enemy was simply too powerful to be dealt with, people would begin to shirk the responsibility and blame their misfortune on someone else. That could alleviate, at least partly, their helplessness.

"Yes, I remember now. He is the whistleblower."

"If not because of him, my father wouldn't have meddled in this sh*t."

Everyone was now glaring at Liu Hang resentfully.

Liu Hang's red face slowly turned pale. Qin Feng sneered and did not plan to stay involved. He did not even bother to give Liu Hang another look. He had something else in mind.

Before he went on to declare his remaining fund, Fire Phoenix had reached him first.

"Sir, welcome to our auction center again. Because of your previous spending, we have upgraded you to VIP. In the next few days, there's no need for you to go through the declaration process again. Just enter freely and this number plate will be reserved for you until the end of the auction."

Of course, that doesn't apply to items being auctioned out today. Besides, you would still need to outbid other prestigious VIPs."

Qin Feng nodded. He then received the auction list from Fire Phoenix.

There was nothing that drew Qin Feng's attention today. He had zero interest in weapons since he could easily make one using the Magical Tesseract anytime he wanted.

He then continued to look at the list and realized that the B-tier cores sold by Dusk Dragon were mostly of great quality. They were at least B5-tier and above.

That meant the better ones were to be expected in the coming days.

After all, this was the Dusk Dragon that had Hell Island in its grasp.

Before Qin Feng was about to ask about it, Bai Li held his hand.

"Hubby, this one is not bad."

Qin Feng's sight followed Bai Li's finger on the list and found that the Dusk Dragon was auctioning a secret dimension.

One day on the outside equaled one year inside.
