Chapter 256 - 688- 699

Chapter 688: Summoning Xiao Bai

"One moment!"

Transmitted through the contract, Bai Li had sent across her message. In less than ten minutes, a spatial passage was activated, and Bai Li had then appeared beside Qin Feng!

Upon Bai Li's appearance, her petite little nose moved a little, and her eyes glowed.

"Something interesting!"

After all, ever since Bai Li had become stronger, she had not reacted with such an expression for a long time!

With such an expression, there was certainly something that had won her heart, the power of the Divine Mountain. There was definitely more to explore.

"An unknown region has suddenly appeared from here, something horrifying is inside, just be mindful of it!" Qin Feng warned.

"Don't worry, I am here with you!" Bai Li immediately clapped her hands.

"Of course, I will not be worried about you. First is to retrieve and keep the Glutton, it is an extremely huge target, and rather inappropriate to be used at this moment!" Qin Feng explained.

"Hmm!"

Bai Li brought Qin Feng along and teleported out to the ocean surface. She raised her hand, and the massively-sized Leviathan was then merged into Bai Li's endless spatial storage.

Qin Feng stood on the ocean surface. He was immediately noticed by an ultra beast as it opened its mouth wide and wanted to swallow him whole.

"Hmph!" Bai Li snorted in frustration and immediately responded, a stretch of silver light arced across, and the gigantic ultra beast in the sea was sliced in half.

Qin Feng glanced at the sea beast that had already been torn apart by other sea beasts around, massacred into pieces. Without much emotion, he released his dark runes and shrouded Bai Li and himself.

"Lately you have been filled with the urge to kill!"

Qin Feng made fun of Bai Li as she used to be reluctant to react when she was with Qin Feng.

"Ah? Is that true?" Bai Li asked curiously.

"Yes, you just reacted decisively earlier!"

"Maybe it is because of the recent frequent encounter of enemies!" Bai Li assumed that it was the reason behind it and nodded. "I am always bothered by annoying opponents!"

Qin Feng was humoured and giggled.

"It seems like the well-behaved and tranquil Xiao Bai is about to turn into a violent person!"

"Why would you say so, I am not a violent person!"

The squabble continued for a while as Qin Feng led Bai Li to move toward the direction of the Divine Mountain.

Both of them stopped at about ten thousand meters away. As they were getting closer, sea beasts around the area were also becoming more powerful.

"Aow!"

All of a sudden, a long howl was heard, a gigantic head of a snake rushed out from the ocean surface and aimed toward Qin Feng for a bite.

Qin Feng instantly responded to the threat.

"Teleport!"

It was the almost instant trigger of teleportation from Bai Li that had saved them from the deadly attack!

Although they were in the dark, Qin Feng's vision was not restricted at all, and he clearly saw the horrifying creature that had appeared in the waters.

'What is that?'

Qin Feng questioned in his mind, and he did not expect anyone to answer his question.

It was within his expectation that under the horrifying changes that had taken place at the Divine Mountain, the appearance of any bizarre looking sea beasts would be possible.

The sea beast that he saw was like a hydra, slowly retracting its skull back to its body that was shielded by an unexpected tortoise shell. The size of it was almost like a small island, expanding up to a hundred meters wide. It was concealed by its intense dark color while dark mist was emitting from the surface.

Surprisingly, it was a dark sea beast, and it would explain its ability to notice and pick-up traces of Qin Feng and Bai Li.

"Kill him!" Qin Feng loosened his grip from Bai Li as he took out his helmet and Verdant Emperor Saber from his spatial rune equipment.

It was only a thousand meters away from the Divine Mountain, and they had already encountered such an unexpected creature. Areas closer to the mountain would be even more dangerous, it left Qin Feng no choice but to reveal his true capability.

The helmet was put on and synced to his combat fatigues, his entire gear had enhanced his overall mighty presence!

It was the true form of the Sacred Armor.

Qin Feng held onto his Verdant Emperor Saber and immediately struck with his first move!

"Dragon Steps!"

Qin Feng descended at high speed from the sky. When compared with the majestic size of the black tortoise beast, his body size was nothing, and his opponent's neck was tenfold thicker than his.

Swoosh!

Qin Feng stepped onto several points in the air, his body then redirected as he landed on top of his opponent's neck.

"Burning Sword Glare!"

The glow from the glaring sword had stretched for more than ten meters, instantly sweeping across the entire neck of the tortoise.

The Verdant Emperor Saber was engulfed in flames, an instant crackling sound was heard while a patch of black scorched mark was formed on his opponent's burnt neck.

Szz!

Qin Feng was struck dumb instantly!

The mutated sea beast only seemed to be a B2-tier beast king, while Qin Feng was capable of the internal strength output of an A-tier, how could he have not done any harm to his opponent?

However, Qin Feng was not frustrated nor panicked, and his eyes had even begun to glow.

"So, this is from the transformation of the Divine Mountain? Very powerful indeed!"

Meaning to say, every species that arrived at the Divine Mountain would undergo a total transformation, altering their features and strengthening them to be more powerful.

However, it was not an appropriate time to admire the formidable Divine Mountain, as the black tortoise already noticed that it was being attacked. It instantly reacted with a miserable shriek!

Its massive neck rotated like the skull of a snake, it reversed itself and aimed toward Qin Feng.

"Roar!!!"

An enraged roar, and an array of massive glowing black lights exploded from his opponent!

Those were all abilities formed by dark runes, and they were comparable with the dragon breath!

Qin Feng shifted his body to the left while his internal strength shield was coated with another layer of dark elements. It had then reduced the impact from the attack as Qin Feng escaped and dodged from the coverage of the dragon breath. He then got back closer to the neck of the ultra beast that looked like a giant python.

"We will see, how will you react to this!"

Qin Feng's Verdant Emperor Saber was no longer disseminating internal strength. His internal strength was redirected and fuelled into his body, strengthening his physical energy.

Poof!

The Verdant Emperor Saber then pierced through the outer neck skin of his opponent. It was struck deep, reaching the hilt of the saber.

"Open!"

Qin Feng, with his Verdant Emperor Saber deep within, drove his body into it.

The saber instantly tore the skin into a giant wound from top to bottom. The opening was more than thirty meters.

With only a little more than a meter measurement, the Verdant Emperor Saber was still capable of stretching its cut to beyond its total length.

With the embedding of all sorts of rare ores, the saber was transformed into a horrifying weapon.

The tortoise let out a miserable shriek with its trembling skull, and its internals were also crumbling.

It was due to the special features of Qin Feng's saber.

With its weight, vibrations, and other sources of impact, the moment the Verdant Emperor Saber penetrated, it would cause an overwhelming amount of destructive force toward its target. Such forces could also be recognized as the magnetic field of the saber.

The tortoise shook its skull twice, it could no longer withstand its collapsing body as its neck bent and drooped down!

Fresh blood burst out like an erupting fountain, and the ocean surface was contaminated with red color!

However, it was still alive!

"Again!"

Qin Feng aimed for the same wound opening, and his second attack was also added with exploding internal strength.

"Burning Sword Glare!"

The wound was instantly expanded to more than tens of meters wide, it had almost slit the dark tortoise's neck into half.

Only then, the life of the dark tortoise ended.

Qin Feng absorbed the energy from the dark tortoise. There was some sort of special energy that was present in the mixture that was merged into Qin Feng's body.

Qin Feng knew that it was the energy from the Divine Mountain.

"Absorb!"

Qin Feng did not intend to bring the massive tortoise shell with him. It would be a shame to sell off the dark element material that was rarely found.

In less than five minutes, a majestic creature had already been transformed into ashes, but there was not any significant spike in Qin Feng's capabilities!

Chapter 689: Plentiful of Heavenly Jewels

"… that's a B3-tier beast king… and I haven't even felt the effects of its power?"

Qin Feng was speechless.

His abilities' foundation was way too strong by now. This had increased the amount of energy he could absorb whenever he used his Absorption Ability.

"Let's go!"

Qin Feng moved onward.

This time, it went on much smoother because there was no dark sea beast that was blocking his way. Thus, in no time, he finally reached the Divine Mountain.

In an instant, a unique energy flushed into his body from the ground through his feet. Every time he took in a breath, he could feel surges of energy flowing in him.

If the Dragon Capital was a jeweled haven, this place was probably ten times more jeweled than that super metropolis!

The energy that was flushing into his body from beneath the ground was so powerful that it could vehemently evolve any living creature at any moment.

"This energy…" It was quite apparent even Bai Li felt it too.

"What's the matter? Are you going to be okay?" Qin Feng looked Bai Li with a concerned look.

Bai Li shook her head. "I'm okay. It's just that… I can feel every living cell in my body becoming very very excited! It's like they're evolving! But… the rate of them evolving is rather slow so there isn't going to be much change for now."

"Hmm, this energy is really unique indeed. This Divine Mountain isn't going to be here long. However, the plants and flowers in this area could have absorbed its energy too. This means that the Divine Mountain's energy could be preserved in these plants. So, right now, the most important thing is to harvest these Heavenly Jewels!"

"This is my specialty. Let's go!"

After replying confidently, Bai Li brought Qin Feng deep into the Divine Mountain.

Of course, aside from the Heavenly Jewels, there were also other dangerously mutated plants and creatures too. Some of sea beasts had even experienced a massive change and evolution after being exposed to this energy for hours.

Qin Feng even witnessed a youngling of an ultra beast that was freshly born that looked completely different from its mother!

"This energy could evolve and fundamentally change a species. Bai Li has stable and strong genes—a sign that she had already experienced a complete and near perfect evolution. That's why she isn't affected much by this energy. But what about the humans? What about me?"

Qin Feng closed his eyes and tried to detect any changes in his body.

Hmm… There was not much of a change either.

Perhaps, this meant that the human race was also a species that had experienced a complete evolution.

"Or perhaps, this is also the reason humans can have so many weaklings but also so many prodigies. Much like how the dragon folks in the unknown region said!"

If the human race were that weak, then why did it have some prodigies appearing amongst its ranks?

"Hubby! Right here!" Bai Li grabbed Qin Feng's arm and teleported them to a massive tree branch.

This tree was really huge—it looked like a giant coconut tree, one that had a smooth trunk and several large leaves. Of course, it also bore some fruits.

These fruits were giving off some really fine aroma and also emitting powerful energies.

Creak!

A fruit appeared to be now ripe, broken away from the tree branch as it fell to the ground.

Qin Feng pinched his conscious energy and stopped the fruit from landing on the ground at the nick of time before handing it to Bai Li, who then stored it in her dimensional pocket.

"Pweez Pweez Pweez!!"

"Kachak Kachak! Kachak Kachak!"

A series of noises could be heard from below.

Qin Feng lowered his head and saw a few ultra beasts that looked peculiarly weird as they were eyeing at him with their crimson red eyes.

They were about one-meter in length, shaped like fishes. They crawled out of the water with their newly grown claws.

These were fishes that had evolved and just gotten out of the water!

These creatures' original wet scales appeared to have dried up and turned into hardened, stone-like scales. Their tails had also been lengthened via their evolution.

Then, Qin Feng saw it—there were a few crushed fruits on the ground near these ultra beasts.

It seemed that these creatures were rather upset at Qin Feng for robbing them off of their food source. Some creatures of the larger variety were seemingly quite cross with him.

"Cleak!"

An ultra beast tried to climb onto the tree, intending to fight Qin Feng to reclaim the fruit.

However, after a few attempts, it fell straight to the ground—its body was not fully evolved to climb trees after all.

Yet, after seeing their brethren fall down, the other ultra beasts seemed to get even more agitated. They thudded their tails on the ground and continuously leaped up to seven to eight meters in the sky and hit the tree.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

The Ultra Beasts kept on hitting the tree, making it sway violently—it seemed that they intended to shake the tree so that the fruits would fall down for them.

Unfortunately for them, Qin Feng was there. There was no way he would allow others to take away what he wanted.

"Harvest them all." Qin Feng ordered.

Bai Li thus waved her conscious energy and plucked all the fruits away while Qin Feng raised his hand and summoned his fire runes.

"Hellfire Carpet!"

In a sweep, dozens of ultra beasts were engulfed by fire.

Although they had just undergone their evolution, these ultra beasts had already become as strong as a C-tier. If they kept on feeding on these fruits, they might actually become a new powerful species.

Qin Feng knew just how powerful this Divine Mountain was. As such, the tree was going to bear even more fruits.

That was why it was best that he slay these ultra beasts right now and be done with it.

Of course, there could also be other ultra beasts that would come here later for the fruits but Qin Feng was not going to stay here for long. He was going to leave it all to fate.

"There's more here too, Hubby!"

Bai Li brought Qin Feng to another location via her dimensional abilities again.

"Right here!"

"Oh, this side has even better ones! Let's go there next!"

"Ah! This fruit is so sweet! Teehee!"

Bai Li kept bringing Qin Feng around happily, like a couple shopping in a mall.

Meanwhile, there was another person that was having a completely different experience than the love birds.

Unlike Qin Feng and Bai Li, Tung Yang did not have the ability to control dimensional runes. All he had were water runes. As such, he had to move around fighting ultra beasts and violent plants attacking him from all sides.

"Roar!"

A twenty-meter high, fifty-meter wide ultra beast was now chasing Tung Yang. This thing looked like a massive seahorse but with a bigger, stronger body and limbs. It looked like a prehistoric dinosaur!

Not only that, this thing was powerful—it was an A-tier beast king!

Although Tung Yang was an A-tier ability user and regent, to take on a beast of this caliber he also needed to be a king type.

Unfortunately for Tung Yang, his powers were just the equivalent of an A-tier beast general.

That was why he had to run.

He sped all the way to the shore and morphed into a stream of water, fleeing into the ocean.

The seahorse looked at the ocean and turned away—it appeared that after evolving, it had developed some contempt for the ocean.

"Goddamnit! It appears that I can't go here too. Perhaps I should try to land at another location!"

Tung Yang shook his liquid head and moved around the island, attempting to find a better place to land.

Qin Feng might not have guessed that Tung Yang, the man who had left much earlier than him, could not even get onto the island right now.

And as this was all happening, twenty meters away from the Divine Mountain, several deep-sea vessels were moving quietly toward it. Each of them had at least one or two A-tier ability users with them.

It was the members of the other Human Alliances! They had already arrived!

Chapter 690: Obol

The bottom of the Abyssal Ocean had begun to calm down.

The planet, after all, still had limitations in size and space to allow just so many things to appear on it. A few hours after the huge crack had surfaced on the Earth, most of the areas that could not form a stable dimensional path had now been closed off.

A few dozen hours later, the sky became white again as soon as the crack started to close up. The Divine Mountain was now no longer shaking while the beast waves had stopped.

The ocean was now finally completely calm.

In the following hours, the A-tiers and B-tiers would then arrive to fight one another for loot and scraps.

Outside of the Divine Mountain, other people from the Human Alliance had already left their deep-sea vessels behind and stepped into the Divine Mountain.

"Obliterating Thunder!"

An A-tier ability user released powerful thunderbolts into the ocean, zapping countless sea beasts that were swimming within thousands of meters in the area.

"Swift Lightning!"

Then, the ability user zipped across thousands of meters above the now paralyzed sea beasts. However, it did not take long before they recovered and then started to attack him.

In an instant, hurricanes and tidal waves started to violently attack the ability user, forcing him to turn back.

He was not the only one having a hard time getting near the Divine Mountain—the other A-tiers too struggled a lot before they got to step onto the Divine Mountain.

At the same time, on the island, Bai Li's ears twitched as she cocked her head to one side, seemingly trying to listen to something.

Despite Bai Li too being an ability user, she was still by core a beast herself. As such, more often than not, she relied more on instincts to act.

She knew that the others had already stepped on the island without the need of using her powers and abilities.

Of course, after spending so much time with her, Qin Feng had learned to read her body language. As such, he too understood what the situation was and began to use his conscious energy to scan their surroundings.

"Someone's coming!"

It was already morning, with the sun coming out from the horizon.

It was quite expected to see some people finally arriving on the island.

"Hmm? It's Obol of the Philippines Alliance!"

This person was known as "the King of Thunder" in the Philippines Alliance. He was known to be quite prideful—and his massive ego stemmed from his great power and strength.

At the very least, his social status in the Philippines Alliance was comparable to the regents in the Huaxia Alliance!

Obol turned his head toward a certain direction—straight in Qin Feng's location! His conscious energy was spreading out of his body like crazy.

He had spotted Qin Feng as soon as he landed on the island.

Qin Feng quickly withdrew his consciousness energy and enveloped himself in dark runes, concealing his whereabouts.

Obol frowned and snorted, "Hmph! A mere B-tier thinks he can just spy on me and then get away with it?"

Then, Obol leaped up and sped toward Qin Feng's location.

However, as soon as he moved forward for about a few hundred meters, he was intercepted by a few waves of ultra beasts. These ultra beasts had all evolved to near perfection now, and thus they could fight fairly effectively.

As such, it was quite difficult for Obol to catch Qin Feng right now.

"Let's ignore the ones outside and head deep into the mountain. We might be able to find some ultra beasts that are more powerful!"

Ignoring Obol, Qin Feng brought Bai Li further into the mountain to gain more loot.

Time was ticking.

As such, he needed to loot as much as he could before more people got onto the island. In fact, right now there could already be some people lurking inside the mountain… and fighting them might be unavoidable.

As long as you had the treasures that others wanted, you would be considered their enemies!

Qin Feng had the memories from before he was reborn. If he could not get more loot than the others, his memories would all be wasted!

The energy of the Divine Mountain was too great. After journeying inside, Qin Feng found that there were plenty of Heavenly Jewels everywhere.

Teleporting around using Bai Li's abilities would have resulted in them missing these treasures—and it would have been such a waste!

"In that case …"

Qin Feng eyed a B-tier beast king.

Due to most of these creatures having recently evolved from sea beasts, most of them were still crawling on the ground, wagging their massive fish tails. From afar, they looked like giant lizards.

Of course, some of them had evolved into venomous sea snakes.

And this one? It was a massive, terrifying sea snake!

It had beautiful, emerald green skin, indicating that it was rather venomous.

Without hesitation, Qin Feng attacked it with a ray of white light that emitted from his Sacred Armor from the shadows!

Poof!

This light instantly landed on the giant serpent, pushing it back twenty meters, crushing the plants and grass around it along the way.

When the light dispersed, a large crater appeared at where the sea snake was at. The sea snake swayed its tail nervously before settling down.

"Heh!"

Qin Feng sneered and raised his hand again. A beam of black light instantly covered the snake's wound. Then, its flesh started to rot.

Pzzzt!

The sea snake instantly got up from the ground! Despite how fatal Qin Feng's attack was earlier, this thing was still a B-tier beast king. It would not die so easily!

The sea snake rolled around for a moment before lunging at Qin Feng as it widened its fanged, bloody mouth.

"Psst…"

A mouthful of thick green fog dispersed out of its mouth and enveloped where Qin Feng stood.

Buzz!

Qin Feng's internal energy formed a shield and blocked the snake's poisonous gases in the nick of time.

However, he could feel that his internal energy was seething violently and decreasing in power over time when the gas hit on his shield. This showed just how poisonous the gas was!

"Die!"

A silver ray whipped on the sea snake's wound and cracked it open. Its heart was crushed almost instantly. The terrifying sea snake was now finally dead!

Qin Feng quickly moved out of the green poisonous fog and shone his black beam onto the snake's corpse.

The sea snake was supposed to be dead. However, as soon as the black light was shone upon it, it slowly got up! Its body was now covered in a layer of black scales—it was now controlled by Qin Feng's Dark Puppeteering.

Qin Feng had realized just how useful this skill was after using it in so many battles. As such, naturally, he would want to try to use it on the snake again this time.

Thus, he ordered the undead snake to move forward as he and Bai Li tailed behind it.

He then harvested all of the Heavenly Jewels within a two-hundred-meter radius. After that, he went to the lair of the other beast kings.

Then, he obtained another beast king undead puppet.

And then, repeat.

By doing that, his undead puppet army was growing bigger by the minute.

***

Meanwhile, the A-tiers were hunting ultra beasts around the island happily.

"Whoah! What kind of herb is this? I've never seen it!! It actually contains such a large amount of energy!"

"Stop, we can't absorb it here right now. Keep looking!"

"What's going on? Someone came here? There are so many fruits already plucked clean?"

Some people were excited, some were happy… And naturally, some of them were angry.

Chapter 691: Tung Yang Ensnared!

The signs of Qin Feng harvesting all the plants outside were quite apparent and obvious. Thus, it was rather quick for them to take notice.

To these people, it meant that the next person they met on the island would be the one who had harvested all these treasures. This in turn made all of them start to become greedy and murderous.

Thus, it did not take long before these people started to clash with one another…

This was quite unfortunate—for Tung Yang. Due to him not being able to get on land several times, Tung Yang's progress was already severely stunted. And now, he was trying to get near the shore where Obol was at.

Obol, on the other hand, had taken notice of Qin Feng's appearance on the island. As such, he believed that anyone who was already on the island must have a lot of Heavenly Jewels on them. If he killed these people, it would not only mean that he would be able to take all of these treasures for himself, it would also mean that he would have eliminated his competitors.

Obol was already an A8-tier while Tung Yang was still at A5-tier. When they met, Tung Yang knew things were bad for him!

Therefore, Tung Yang did not hesitate and turned tail right away. Seeing this, Obol leaped up and fiercely chased after him.

"Hey, aren't you that regent from the Huaxia Alliance? What's your name again? Lemme think…" Obol's conscious energy was locked onto Tung Yang as he chased after him.

"Obol, what do you want?"

Tung Yang's face was grim.

"What do I want? Tung Yang, if I remember correctly, this Abyssal Ocean falls under your jurisdiction, right? This means that you must be the first one to step onto the island. I am meaning to ask… I've set my eyes on a type of fruit just now and were you the one who took them?"

"You're bullsh*tting me, aren't you?!"

"Oh, so you're not going to admit it? Hehe, there's no hurry. I'll make you admit it!"

"Swift Lightning!"

With another split of lightning sparkling behind him, Obol had accelerated his speed and caught up to Tung Yang!

"Hydro Dragon Strike!"

Tung Yang quickly unleashed his powers but it was not to attack Obol—instead he used his own attacks to envelop himself in water and dashed straight at the ocean.

"Ten Thousand Thunder!"

Suddenly, a massive dark cloud loomed above Tung Yang before thousands of lightning zapped down, covering every direction toward the ocean.

If Tung Yang wanted to continue onward, he would definitely get hurt. He was three tiers weaker than Obol after all. As such, if he got hurt by the lightning strikes, it would definitely send him to the hospital wards for weeks.

Thus, Tung Yang turned and changed his direction toward the forest.

"Raging Waterfall!"

A huge waterfall fell from the sky and blocked Obol.

Still, this could only force Obol to take a small turn and merely stop him for a few seconds.

"Kweeek Kweeeek!"

A massive flying ultra beast seemed to have noticed that something was going on over here and flew straight toward them.

It was a B7-tier beast king.

Right now, Tung Yang had enemies on both fronts. It was becoming difficult for him to move forward and retreat.

All he could do now was to just turn toward another random direction and start running. There was no time for him to stop and carefully pick his route. Meanwhile, Obol was getting closer and closer.

"Hahaha! Die, Tung Yang!"

Obol raised his electric-type rune weapon. Several electric currents zapped through the crystal that was embalmed on the equipment; from afar, it looked like he was wielding a lightning bolt!

"Pzzkaat!!"

The lightning spear cracked and split in the sky before landing on Tung Yang's back!

"Arggh!!"

Tung Yang let out an excruciating cry. Although he had already enveloped himself in a water bubble barrier, it was not enough to fully protect him.

"Water Healing!"

Still, Tung Yang would not go down so easily. The real power behind a water-type ability user was not his fighting prowess—it was his great healing powers!

In a split second, Tung Yang's wound was completely healed! Even his hair that was zapped to curls was also healed back to its original silky form.

Still, there was no way Tung Yang could run away from his pursuer.

"Obol!! I won't forgive you!"

Tung Yang clenched his teeth and intended to use his trump card. If there was no way of running, perhaps it was best for him to just turn back and fight.

There was very little hope in surviving this though. Such were the results of battles between A-tiers. What more… this Obol was three tiers more powerful than him!

He was not Qin Feng. In fact, it was quite a rare occurrence for someone like Qin Feng to be born.

What made his situation even direr was that Obol was a genius in combat himself.

Suddenly, a massive sea snake appeared from the bushes. This thing was about two-meter wide—a phenomenally huge beast indeed. Under normal circumstances, no one in the world would not have noticed it even if it tried to hide in a bush. Yet, none of them noticed it—not even the flying beast noticed the sea snake before it lunged out of the bush.

"Kweeek!!!"

The flying beast seemed to think the snake was its food. As such, it got excited and flew down to kill the sea snake.

However, the sea snake did not seem to care about the flying beast. Instead, it lunged straight at Obol!

Pooof!!

It spewed a green fog and enveloped Obol, who immediately backed off anxiously.

Grrooom!!

Suddenly, tremors could be felt on the ground. It was apparent that there were countless ultra beasts moving in the forest.

After giving it a scan with his conscious energy, Obol's face turned grim.

"Beast kings! Why are there so many beast kings here?!"

Then, he looked at the sea snake. This thing seemed to be battle hardened. This made his face even grimmer than before.

"Dark Puppeteering? Who's doing this? Is it Kounsat?"

"…"

"I'll let you go for now! Consider yourself lucky this time!"

Obol yelled out to Tung Yang before deciding to run away. However, when he looked at Tung Yang, it was as if the man was looking at him like he was already dead.

Katchaaa!

Wielding a full body of lightning, Obol dashed miles away while the sea snake and flying beast fought fiercely.

When the other ultra beasts appeared, the flying beast had already been torn to pieces.

Having just escaped from a gruesome fate, Tung Yang immediately pulled up his guard again. However, after scanning his surroundings with his conscious energy, Tung Yang immediately felt glad.

"Qin Feng! It's you!"

"Regent Tung, are you alright?"

Qin Feng was actively releasing his conscious energy toward Tung Yang so he knew it was him. A few seconds later, Qin Feng appeared before Tung Yang.

"Don't worry, I'm alright. That dreadful Obol! He's such a jerk!"

Qin Feng kept quiet with a smile on his face—he did not feel the need to curse a person behind his back.

"We can't use our communicators here. Not even our Consciousness Connector works over here. So, it's quite expected for the other people from other alliances to want to take advantage of us."

"Yeah, you don't seem surprised at all!" Tung Yang let out a bitter smile. He could still remember when he was younger he thought every faction within the Human Alliance was going to be united under one banner and help each other out in this post-apocalyptic world. He was too naïve back then.

"Regent Tung, perhaps you should harvest the materials you need around us. With that, we could provide you our support too." Qin Feng suggested.

Tung Yang's face turned red after hearing this. He abandoned Qin Feng earlier after all. And speaking of supporting, he was a superior and a regent—he should be the one who did the supporting.

Yet, after seeing dozens of B-tier beast kings under Qin Feng's command, Tung Yang could not find any reason to reject his offer. Still, it would be so shameful for him to accept the help of someone supposedly weaker and ranked lower than him.

"Alright, then!"

Saving face was one thing; but it was quite obvious that Qin Feng was indeed powerful.

As such, Tung Yang gave up in preserving his face and agreed to accept his help.

Chapter 692: The True Undead Puppeteer

Of course, Qin Feng was not offering his help out of kindness. He was just hoping that he would not cause a string of butterfly effects that would lead to much bigger chaos.

Before he was reborn, Tung Yang was not going to arrive at the Divine Mountain this early. Instead, he was supposed to be at East Sea City, handling the flood crisis.

And Qin Feng did not know whether Obol would eventually be at odds with Tung Yang.

However, if he caused the death of the Eastern Region's regent, things would then swirl completely out of his control.

The two men had connected their consciousness together via a small communication device that Tung Yang gave Qin Feng. This was a device that was rather similar to the one he acquired in the Perished Lands. It could connect two people's consciousness within tens of thousands of meters!

Thus, they split up again.

Qin Feng kept on hunting ultra beasts and then subjugating them into one of his Undead Puppets. With their and Bai Li's conscious energy, they were able to detect a lot of treasures and Heavenly Jewels from miles away.

Meanwhile, Obol had retreated from where Qin Feng was earlier at the speed of a lightning. The other ultra beasts that appeared in front of him were of course no match for him; so, even though he was not able to rob the harvested treasures from Tung Yang, Obol was still able to hunt all these ultra beasts and harvest their materials for himself. As a result, he too had looted a great haul from this trip.

According to the history that Qin Feng knew, other than the death of the Glutton Leviathan, there was also another incident—one that involved the birth of a group of S-tier ability users.

And one of these people was Obol.

Ascending from A8-tier to S-tier in just a day, this also meant that the power one could harvest from the Divine Mountain was plentiful and insanely powerful!

Obol was quick to detect another source of energy. He could tell by just sniffing the air—it was the scent of death! The scent was one of rotting flesh, one that would make one nauseous when smelling it.

This was the scent of ptomaine!

And this was not something that any mere Undead Puppeteer could control!

Obol turned his head and saw the rotten flesh on the ground. A strange feeling crept up his mind as he slowly followed the trail.

He could feel that someone was standing still within five hundred meters. It was as though he was waiting for him.

It seemed that that person had already detected Obol.

However, Obol was not able to detect this person's presence because he was a dark ability user.

"Kounsat!"

Obol saw a skinny man dressed in a black robe. From afar, he looked like a skeleton.

"Obol!"

The man looked at Obol as several Undead Puppets started to congregate around him, seemingly prepared to block Obol's attacks. His eyes were glittering with greed, most likely thinking of murdering Obol on the spot to obtain whatever treasures the man had on him.

This was the A-tier dark ability user that Obol thought about when confronting Tung Yang earlier—Kounsat!

"So, you're here… If you're here, then who was the one I met earlier?" Obol took a look at Kounsat and noticed that he only had five Undead Puppets with him.

There was also a humanoid, dressed in a black robe, following Kounsat. Obol knew that this "humanoid" was not a person—it was Kounsat's strongest Undead Puppet. When he was alive, the man was an S-tier ancient warrior from the West Asia Alliance. After he died, Kounsat dug him out secretly and made him his puppet. Due to this, Kounsat was now hunted by the West Asia Alliance—which led him to join the Dark Coalition.

Kounsat had since done numerous inhumane experiments and research within the Dark Coalition's territories.

Looking at Kounsat's five Undead Puppets, Obol realized that these were merely the level of beast generals. The only one that he was wary of was just the S-tier ancient warrior puppet and Kounsat himself—who was an A1-tier ability user. Still, if he wanted, he could just strike him down here and then—Obol could just kill the skinny, frail man in one hit. Without their master, the other puppets would fall as well.

However, Obol did not feel that they needed to fight.

"Hehe, you won't believe it if I tell you. Just now I was hunting the Eastern Regent of the Huaxia Alliance. And then, I met a dark ability user. He was able to command a dozen ultra beasts in the forest over there!"

Kounsat's eyes shrunk as he stared at Obol.

"Seriously?"

"What do I have to gain by lying to you?"

Kounsat's eyes were now glittering with joy. Obol knew this man had hunted down numerous dark ability users in the past. His reason was mainly because he wanted to rob the others' Undead Puppets. This was like how the gunners would challenge one another to get their guns.

Kounsat's puppet was S-tier. As such, it was natural for him to worry that there could be others that would rob it away from him. This was also why Kounsat had killed many dark ability users that had potential to become strong.

Obol's motivation was to have Kounsat get rid of the threat near Tung Yang for him.

"Hehe, if you're interested, they were heading that way. Don't thank me. Just think of this as me looking out for a friend!"

After saying his piece, Obol left in a split of lightning. Kounsat, still standing there, glared in the direction that Obol was pointing at and ordered his Undead Puppets to head toward Qin Feng's location.

They were still far apart at the moment; and there were also countless other dangers in the Divine Mountain. Thus, when Kounsat was able to get to Qin Feng, three hours had already passed.

Despite Kounsat being an A-tier dark ability user, Qin Feng was the one who spotted him first.

Qin Feng's consciousness had already grown so much after all. And with him gathering so many dark runes lately, it was a piece of cake for him to detect Kounsat.

"Ah, it's Kounsat from the West American Dark Coalition!" Qin Feng smirked.

"This is just great. I've been meaning to find you to avenge myself from my previous life. And now, you're coming to me. How quaint of you!"

Before he was reborn, Qin Feng was the King of Mercenaries. He had been to numerous parts of the world. Sue to the West American Alliance and Huaxia Alliance being parted by just a large pool of ocean, after ascending to A-tier Qin Feng had journeyed to the West American Alliance a lot of times whenever something huge happened. It was then, Qin Feng and Kounsat had clashed a lot of times. If it was not due to Qin Feng still retaining one percent of his Absorption Ability, he would have died in his heads at least eight hundred times.

Kounsat was one of his nemeses in Qin Feng's previous life.

"Perhaps I should prepare a proper welcome for this old friend!"

Qin Feng thus ordered hundreds of his Undead Puppets to be enveloped under his dark runes, exposing only five of his weakest puppets—ones that were only as strong as beast generals.

Qin Feng knew Kounsat had a habit of killing other dark ability users. As such, when Kounsat saw him, he would definitely come and try to kill him.

Qin Feng wanted to show a little bit of his hand as bait.

This also meant that Obol was quite a cunning fox himself. He did see that Qin Feng had at least thirty Undead Puppets. Yet, he told Kounsat that he only had "a dozen". Nonetheless, a dark ability user that could control ten to twelve Undead Puppets was already a threat to Kounsat.

Now, as Kounsat moved onward, he was able to detect Qin Feng's presence.

"Oh? He's here?"

"Hmm? He's just a B-tier? And only five puppets? This is different from what Obol said earlier. But if it's just a B-tier, this means that he has probably expended too much energy!"

"Hehe, well too bad, kiddo. It's a bad day for you today because you're going to face me!"

Kounsat did not even realize what was wrong with the situation at hand at all. In fact, he even made a rationale behind the difference in the number of Undead Puppets that his opponent had.

And he kept on moving forward to confront Qin Feng!

Chapter 693: Trapping Kounsat

Kounsat believed that he was several tiers stronger than Qin Feng. As such, neither did he suspect that Qin Feng had already discovered him, nor that he was actually walking straight into a trap.

To him, it was entirely logical that Qin Feng could not sense his presence.

Qin Feng smelled the decaying odor in the air when Kounsat was within a hundred meters of him. He faked a perplexed expression and gazed into the distance.

Though Kounsat was concealing his body using dark runes, the odor of his puppet could no longer be masked.

Qin Feng's expression instantly changed. He turned around and sprinted away without much hesitation. Kounsat's undead puppets naturally pursued him closely.

"Haha! It's too late for you to run now!"

Kounsat cackled and unleashed a gush of dark runes.

"Dark Shroud!"

Darkness immediately engulfed the forest.

Qin Feng's speed slowed down tremendously after being surrounded by the thick dark fog. Kounsat approached him speedily riding on a giant undead puppet.

There was only a thirty-meter gap between them now.

"Go!"

Qin Feng commanded five of his undead puppets to halt the assaulter.

"Hahaha! How naïve you are to maneuver a puppet in front of the true puppeteer. Your undead puppets are nothing but a joke to me."

Kounsat was being cocky. He commanded four of his puppets. Though at a numerical disadvantage, Kounsat's corpses rapidly ripped apart Qin Feng's puppets. The most dangerous weapon of Kounsat's puppets was the ptomaine.

"Hahaha!" Kounsat laughed boastfully.

"You are probably one of the top prodigies in the Huaxia Alliance. The fact that you could control the B3-tier beast general at B-tier speaks a lot about your potential. Unfortunately, your opponent is me. You would not have met me if you had stuck your ass at Huaxia."

Qin Feng stopped his frantic escape and turned around. Despite the darkness, Kounsat could clearly see the smile on Qin Feng's face.

Kounsat froze when he confirmed that Qin Feng was indeed smiling.

"Actually, B3 beast generals are not the only puppets I can control."

Qin Feng relayed the message through his consciousness. A bad feeling crept into Kounsat's mind.

Qin Feng triggered his conscious power and the darkness surrounding him was promptly dispersed. The forest came back into vision with a telling difference.

Unbeknownst to Kounsat, they were now encircled by more than a hundred large-sized undead puppets.

"Look over here, these are B1-tier beast kings. Those there are B3-tiers. Here, these are B6-tier beast kings. Wait a minute, what are we seeing here. It's a B5-tier beast emperor!" Qin Feng pointed lastly at the strongest puppet he had spent a lot of effort capturing.

Kounsat, who had been watching, was blown away.

'I was tricked!'

The degree of Qin Feng's conscious power must be unbelievably high judging by the number of powerful puppets he managed to command. Even Kounsat could not have control of so many powerful corpses at once.

If Qin Feng's consciousness was this vast, then it was impossible for him to not realize that Kounsat was approaching earlier. In other words, Qin Feng had purposely lured him in.

The beasts besieging them proved just that.

"Who, who are you?" Kounsat bellowed through his consciousness, "Obol and you must have colluded and lied to me!"

Qin Feng was surprised to hear the name but it was not entirely unexpected.

"You trusted Obol? I am his enemy. He would be pleased to see the two of us exhaust each other and be the third dog who runs away with the bone."

Kounsat's face contorted into a scowl as if he was yelling, 'How dare you deceive me, Obol!'

But then, his face quickly twisted into an ugly smirk. "Since we have a common enemy now, we should work together against him instead. We are both dark ability users so it's not ideal to harm each other and fulfill Obol's wish. If you wish, I can teach you the way of corpse ptomaine alchemy. That will increase your puppets' threat into a whole new level!"

"To be honest, I don't think it's all that difficult to kill you first then only turn on Obol. Why should I collaborate with a weakling like you? You must be considered an elect in the West American Alliance. Unfortunately, you have bumped into me. You wouldn't be in such a predicament if you had stuck your ass in West America." Qin Feng answered sarcastically through his consciousness. These were similar to what Kounsat had said to belittle Qin Feng earlier.

That obviously infuriated Kounsat.

"Boy, do you think I am really afraid of you? Die now!"

A horrible creature suddenly hopped out from the shadow behind Qin Feng.

It was none other than Kounsat's humanoid puppet. The undead puppet was S-tier and extremely powerful.

Crack!

Qin Feng's internal force shield broke instantaneously.

Qin Feng's internal strength was so great that even an A-tier ancient warrior would need at least eighteen hits to shatter his shield.

Shockingly, the shield collapsed instantly in a single attack by the undead puppet.

Nevertheless, the small knife in the hand of the puppet stopped short right before it cut through Qin Feng's neck. It was only one cm away from beheading Qin Feng.

"Hey, have you forgotten that I am a dark ability user as well? Moreover, I am a better puppeteer than you!"

In a split second, Qin Feng had already infiltrated the S-tier corpse with his consciousness and took away Kounsat's control over the puppet. The puppet immediately stopped moving.

Qin Feng possessed a B-tier beast emperor's consciousness and had the potential of SS-tier. On the other hand, Kounsat was only an A-tier ordinary ability user. If not because of his dark ability and the corpse of an S-tier ancient warrior, he could not have been this bullish for so many years.

Kounsat knew exactly what his weakness was. That was why he had not been merciful against other dark ability users.

But today, he finally faced the worst possible situation.

Today must be his unluckiest day.

"Tear him apart!" Qin Feng triggered his consciousness and numerous puppets immediately swarmed on Kounsat.

"No!!!" Kounsat shrieked in pain. Five beast puppets rapidly tore him apart. Even the scary corpse ptomaine could not stop the aggressive puppets. Kounsat's dark ability had no use in front of Qin Feng. He tried to escape through the air but Qin Feng had five flying beasts waiting for him in midair too.

The escape-proof trap was designed specifically for Kounsat.

A few minutes later, Kounsat was shredded into pieces. Qin Feng absorbed the remaining energy dissipated from Kounsat's corpse and was disappointed to find out that it did not even match that of a beast general's ability core.

Blitz!

A current went through Qin Feng's special communicator. Then Tung Yang's voice was heard. "Qin Feng, why did I hear someone screaming from your side? Are you in a fight?"

Chapter 694: The Most Precious

Qin Feng smirked as if nothing had happened. "Don't worry. Just a rare beast."

"Alright, nudge me whenever you need my help."

"Okay!"

Qin Feng hung up. He decided against telling Regent Tung about Kounsat's death.

Kounsat was a far more difficult opponent than Obol. Tung Yang would think too much if he knew Qin Feng faced little resistance in killing Kounsat.

The regent would probably be upset and doubt his own ability.

Besides…

Qin Feng raised his hand and a golden chain appeared in front of his eye. There were a total of twelve pieces of spatial equipment hanging on it.

Each of the spatial equipment was at least one hundred meters cubic in size. In it stored the materials Kounsat had been collecting his entire life. It would not be difficult to imagine how lucrative the total loots were in twelve of them. More importantly, since Kounsat was a Dark Coalition member, his wealth was off the record. His entire asset was stored in the form of power credits.

In short, Qin Feng had just inherited the entire fortune that belonged to an A-tier ability user, which was worth at least a few tens of trillions.

However, Qin Feng was more interested in the S-tier puppet.

He lifted the robe covering the puppet's face.

'It's him, the God of Carnage!'

This person was an infamous S-tier around Western America. Even his descendants had substantial influence in the alliance over there. No wonder Kounsat was always on the wanted list.

Though the God of Carnage was only a corpse now, S-tier aptitude users unquestionably still possessed a very strong physique. There were even rumors saying that their bodies would not decay for centuries.

Qin Feng snorted at those baseless tales. It had only been two hundred years since the first rift occurred. How could people possibly know that the body would still be intact after centuries?

'Luckily Kounsat did not introduce ptomaine to this corpse. Otherwise, I would not be taking it.'

Qin Feng used his consciousness to scan the interior of the spatial equipment and almost vomited.

Kounsat was sick. His spatial equipment was mostly occupied by corpses and numerous kinds of poisons or unknown disgusting liquids. Only a small fraction of the space was used to house beast materials.

Qin Feng withheld his revulsion and pulled out a coffin from one of the storages. He commanded the S-tier corpse to lie down in the coffin and put it right back into the same spatial equipment.

He then placed the entire chain into his pocket.

Because of Kounsat's sudden visit, Qin Feng's mind was now brought onto another person.

'What a cunning guy this Obol is. No matter how my fight with Kounsat had turned out, he did not lose anything.'

'No matter what, B-tiers like me would still be at a disadvantage among the A-tiers.'

'If that's so…'

Qin Feng gave it some thought and then placed several materials into the Magical Tesseract. He made two robes similar to that of Kounsat's, then passed one to Bai Li and wore the other one.

"What are you doing? Are you pretending to be the guy that you have just killed?" Bai Li looked at the robe peculiarly. She put it on despite not liking the design.

"This is just to avoid trouble. It would be a plus if we can trick Obol." Qin Feng smiled deviously.

"That would be nice!" Bai Li thought that Qin Feng's idea was good.

They had the black robes on and were further shrouded by dark ability. An outsider could hardly detect their true strength. Besides, they were also surrounded by numerous dark beasts. No one would suspect that they were actually just B-tiers. Tung Yang, who was perhaps the only one that was aware, also would not expose their disguise if he were to see them.

***

Time flew by quickly. It had been one whole day since the opening of the rift and the appearance of the Divine Mountain. The beast horde along the coast had gradually subsided. People cared more about the light pillar that had broken through the sky.

Because they knew it was in the direction of the Abyssal Ocean, some aptitude users gave up on investigating.

Of course, not everyone was deterred by the location. A-tiers and B-tiers from all around the world had gathered near the ocean.

The number of users on the Divine Mountain had increased exponentially over time.

Qin Feng belonged to that group that was too afraid to come in his past life.

Moreover, most of the information he gathered then were stories posted by others on the battle net. God knew how true those stories were.

Besides, the news was quickly overshadowed by other major events later on. To Qin Feng, it was just another bizarre incident in this world that had nothing to do with him.

Things changed drastically in this present life. The Divine Mountain had everything to do with Qin Feng now.

Currently, there were about two hundred horrendous beasts around Qin Feng. Five of them were beast emperors, eighty were beast kings, and the rest were beast generals.

This number of beast generals and beast kings could hardly be found in other locations. This was the Divine Mountain, where legends were destined to be born.

Beasts evolved continuously on this holy land. That was why rare breeds like generals, kings, or even emperors were relatively common here

"It's at my limit. But I think this amount will do." Qin Feng had maximized his conscious power usage. He retained 10% of it as a precautionary measure. Furthermore, he could always replenish his lost conscious power through his Absorption Ability.

Commanding these many beasts at once was indeed taxing. It was hard to blame Kounsat for using only five B-tier beasts as puppets despite being an A-tier. It must have taken a toll on him to manipulate an S-tier corpse. Kounsat even lacked Qin Feng's ability to recover on the go.

With this many bodyguards, Qin Feng could explore the mountain fearlessly now.

Actually, Qin Feng had already greatly altered the beast demographic of this mountain. Because of his excessive hunting, a lot of beasts had been wiped off from the mountain surface. That had lessened a lot of burden from other A-tiers.

With an easier and larger space to operate, the A-tiers cleaned up the mountain at a quicker rate too. Hence, the number of beasts dropped at an even more significant rate. The resources of the mountain were depleted rapidly in the hands of the A-tiers.

Though Qin Feng knew what was happening, he could not do anything to stop it. He could not kill all the A-tiers that had entered the mountain.

The only thing that he should do now was to approach the center of the mountain as fast as possible. He knew that the best treasure was laid there.

The nearer he got to the center, the stronger he could sense a pure form of energy. The temperature around him was getting higher too.

Finally, he came out from the forest and reached the center peak of the Divine Mountain. There was a natural giant pit there.

The structure was not apparent from afar.

Miraculously, the pit was filled with golden sand.

'Glittering Gold Sand!'

Qin Feng could barely hold down his excitement seeing the sand.

This precious item was being passed down generation after generation by some ancient families.

Qin Feng remembered that a small bottle of this gold sand was auctioned after the battle at the Divine Mountain ended. Its value bloated to 1 trillion and yet numerous C-tier families were wrestling for it at all cost.

Chapter 695: Glittering Gold Sand

A few thousand billion was perhaps all a C-tier family possessed. These families were surrendering their entire family fortune in exchange for such a small amount of sand.

Qin Feng was a relatively low-class loner then. One trillion was not the amount he could ever dream of earning his entire lifetime.

Not that he would have any use for the sand, anyway. The Glittering Gold Sand was a military commodity rather than an asset.

This sand could change the energy core of an area.

The reason why Dragon Capital could become the command center of Huaxia was because the energy core there was the most powerful.

With the sand, Qin Feng could now build a second Dragon Capital.

"Bai Li, quick. Collect all of them."

Bai Li shook her head and said, "That's impossible. This material would make my spatial runes collapse."

Qin Feng was startled as he looked at Bai Li.

Bai Li explained, "Though my spatial runes are powerful, there are still things that they can't contain. This material did exist in my inherited memory. I can absorb them slowly and thus increase my storage little by little, but it would not be possible to collect all of them."

It was entirely out of Qin Feng's expectations.

"Then how much can you carry?" Qin Feng asked quickly.

Bai Li answered, "Let me finish. This unique material has a great mass and not many materials can hold them. But since they are exposed in the opening, they would react with the surrounding elements and create materials that would complement them. We can deposit such elements into the Magical Tesseract and turn them into a bottle for the sand."

"I see. That's unheard of."

Though Qin Feng was considered knowledgeable, he had only been an A-tier for two years in his past life before being reborn. He would not have learned everything in his last life.

Luckily, they had Bai Li's inherited memory to the rescue.

Qin Feng used his consciousness to scan the area and quickly discovered a transparent material lining the edge of the sandpit. He now knew that the crystal bottle holding the sand in his memory was not crystal but this new element.

Qin Feng unsheathed the Verdant Emperor Saber and sliced a large piece of it. He then inserted the material into the Tesseract and produced a giant bottle.

He then tried to move the bottle with telepathy but realized that the bottle was heavier than he thought.

"Argh!" His conscious power was defeated by the weight of the bottle.

"This material is rather heavy too. You cannot use such a large piece at once."

Bai Li raised his hand and cut a much smaller piece using her spatial runes. She then put the material carefully into the Tesseract, which resulted in a box the size of a small pail. She did not try to control it with her consciousness. Instead, she bowed down and transferred the sand into the box with her bare hands. It seemed like a strenuous effort.

Qin Feng knew that though Bai Li commands spatial ability, her physique as a mutated beast was comparable to himself despite her appearance. Even she found it taxing to move the sand.

This material was truly remarkable.

"I understand. How about this, you make the container and I will do the filling. Then you transfer the box into your spatial dimension." Qin Feng decided to split the task to speed up the process.

Otherwise, he could not hoard the sand all by himself when others arrived at the center. Besides, he wanted to hide from others the fact that he owned so much Gold Sand.

"Okay!"

Qin Feng spread his beasts and released a powerful dark ability to shroud the area.

If anyone were to approach the area, the puppets and the fog would deter them. If they insist on breaking through, then Qin Feng would not hesitate to kill them.

As such, Qin Feng and Bai Li collected the sand restlessly for two straight days.

"Ugh!" Qin Feng moved the sand painstakingly near the pit. His arm muscles had inflated a lot the past two days. The repetitive labor seemed to have enhanced his physical strength greatly.

Still, they had only removed less than one-tenth of the total. It was simply too slow.

Moreover, they could hardly fend off the outsiders now. There were already three A-tiers who had discovered the dark fog lingering at the center of the mountain but were chased away by Qin Feng using the puppets. One of them was only scared away after Qin Feng deployed the God of Carnage.

Attentions over the fogged area were intensifying as time passed.

"Kounsat is still hogging the area. He must have found something."

"This is a Divine Mountain. There must be unthinkable treasures hidden in the center area."

"We should collaborate and chase him away."

"That's right. So what if he has an S-tier puppet? Kounsat himself is very weak. We can kill him easily as long as we contain the S-tier puppet."

"Yea, agree!"

Five A-tiers immediately joined up and prepared to break through the puppet barrier set up by Qin Feng.

As he finished loading another box, Qin Feng clearly sensed imminent danger.

Bai Li became vigilant too.

"There are five A-tiers incoming. They are here to kill."

"I sensed it too. Well, I guess that's it."

Qin Feng glanced at the remaining sand inside the pit. He was reluctant to leave them behind. This was probably the first time he was unable to hog everything ever since he was reborn.

Nonetheless, he had no choice but to escape now.

Qin Feng did not want to expose himself. It was unwise to attract unwanted attention. The best way to accumulate wealth and power was to do so quietly.

"Retreat!" Qin Feng commanded and gathered all his puppets in one place. He then ordered them to self-explode.

The bodies of the death puppets eroded but an energy core once again condensed at the center of the puppet crowd. This undead puppet army relied on this core to sustain their combat powers.

Qin Feng wasted nothing and absorbed the energy core into his conscious realm.

He and Bai Li then took down their robes.

"Let's go!" Bai Li's spatial runes covered the two of them and they promptly teleported to the perimeter of the island.

Afterward, five A-tiers arrived at the center with ease.

They finally found the Glittering Gold Sand after the fog dispersed.

"Where's Kounsat? Has he run off?"

"The puppets have self-exploded. There are traces of spatial runes too."

"D*mn! He fled so decisively. By the way, this thing here must be very valuable."

"Take it, quick!"

The A-tiers did not hesitate and got to work immediately. Soon, they too realized that the sand was immovable using their conscious energy alone. As such, they could only start collecting with their bare hands. That was when they realized how heavy the sand was.

The small bottle of sand Qin Feng saw in his previous life was not a tiny amount leaked by the upper echelon. In fact, that was exactly the amount an A-tier could manage. Not many aptitude users, including ancient warriors, could match Qin Feng's otherworldly physique, after all.

Chapter 696: Blasting Spatial rune equipment

Of course, none of them knew that the sand had to be first contained using the special element. They directly loaded the Gold Sand into their spatial equipment and the result was conceivable.

Boom!

A spatial rune equipment blasted and created a spatial rift that opened up to a hundred-meter long.

Herbs and fruits inside the spatial rune equipment dropped out from it, while the A-tier user was killed on the spot by the rift's ripping force.

The rift came and went rapidly. All that was left were the items in it, as well as ample power credits.

Based on its volume, one cubic meter power credit was equivalent to one hundred thousand power credits, which translated to ten billion in cash.

That person's spatial equipment contained at least 30 trillion power credits. The explosion blasted the power credits the size of two to three hundred cubic meters high into the air.

The unexpected development caught the eyes of everyone on the island.

It was unusual to see a spatial rune equipment go off like this. The credits burst out from the equipment refracted the light and resulted in glimmers all over the sky above the center peak. Everyone realized that something huge must be going on up there.

Qin Feng was at the shore near the foot of the Divine Mountain. About a hundred meters from them was another group of people. They were five B-tiers from the Huaxia Alliance.

They watched the anomaly excitedly but immediately dropped their heads down.

"There must be treasure up there."

"I believe those are power credits. Don't tell me there is a power credit mine inside the mountain!?"

"Who knows? Everything happening here is unreal."

"Unfortunately, that's beyond our reach. We are barely staying alive at this perimeter."

"Be careful, beasts are coming our way. We can no longer fall back. The beast in the ocean is far scarier. Come, over here."

The party left in a hurry with tails in between their legs.

Truth be told, only A tiers were qualified to join the war in the center region.

Qin Feng looked up toward the explosion site. Someone must have stored the sand directly into his/her spatial equipment. The blast petrified Qin Feng. If not because of Bai Li, he might have faced the same terrible fate. It would be silly to die in such a way in this second life.

The A-tiers loitering around the Divine Mountain had gathered at the center region because of the explosion. Tung Yang was one of them.

Tung Yang met two other A-tier ability users there who Qin Feng knew from before.

They were the group leader of the north and west region at the Dragon Capital Prodigy Tournament, respectively—A3-tier water ability user Nangong Shi and A3-tier ancient warrior Ge Lang.

At the moment, Nangong Shi was still not the regent of the north, while Ge Lang had always been a general.

Since Nangong Shi was a water ability user, he was the first who answered the SOS call when the danger occurred in the east. He used a spatial waymark to first travel to East Sea City, then departed to the Divine Mountain in a deep-sea vessel. Thus, he reached the island only a few hours later than Tung Yang and Qin Feng.

Ge Lang arrived a little later than Nangong Shi. They scattered around the island and had not met each other until now.

In fact, Ge Lang was the first batch that had reached the center peak. He was one of them who wished to kill Kounsat badly.

Besides the giant pit, one of the first six users there was dead. The other five had long split the belongings left behind by the dead A-tier. Tung Yang and Nangong Shi did not ask about the dead man or his possessions. Instead, they both looked at Ge Lang.

"Hi, Ge Lang!" Nangong Shi greeted him.

"General Ge, you are here too!" Tung Yang waved hi to Ge Lang too.

"Hi, there! I didn't see you earlier. Nangong is here too." Ge Lang greeted back.

"What happened just now? Such a big commotion," Nangong Shi asked. Tung Yang listened attentively beside him.

Ge Lang answered gratingly, "Earlier, it was Kounsat, the dark puppeteer from the Western American Alliance that shrouded this area with a dark ability. Not only that but he also had hundreds of beasts surrounding the region. I gathered a party and tried to break through but he ran before we reached him…"

Ge Lang then spoke about the sand inside the pit. He believed that "Kounsat" must have taken away a substantial amount after hogging the place for two full days. Apparently, the dark puppeteer knew how to transfer the sand safely. The five of them became more cautious with the sand now that an A-tier had paid his life for it.

Tung Yang found something odd in Ge Lang's description.

'Hundreds of monsters? Dark ability? That sounds a lot like Qin Feng. Have they seen him around here?'

Qin Feng had killed so many monsters that he had single-handedly reduced one-fifth of the beasts on the island.

Meanwhile, A-tier beasts that were untouchable had been detected by the human adventurers and were consciously avoided.

With more and more A-tiers joining the expedition, even the A-tier beasts were being hunted now. So currently, the island was not as dangerous as it was in the beginning.

Tung Yang was busy collecting herbs and got further and further away from Qin Feng. He was unable to keep track of Qin Feng's whereabouts constantly since the latter could conceal himself with dark ability.

Since the danger level of the island had gone down drastically, there was no reason for Tung Yang to keep following Qin Feng.

Tung Yang immediately suspected Qin Feng after he heard Ge Lang's story.

'If Qin Feng really was behind this…' Tung Yang could not begin to fathom how strong Qin Feng actually was, or how far he would go in the future.

"General, are you sure you the person you saw was Kounsat?"

"I am pretty certain. If not because of the S-tier puppet he controls, I would have long killed him and need not ask for help from the others."

Though Ge Lang was boasting, the S-tier puppet he mentioned cleared Tung Yang's doubt.

'S-tier? Then it's probably not Qin Feng…'

Tung Yang shook away the idea.

"Whatever it is, he is lucky to get away this time. The more pressing issue we have now is how the hell do we move this thing? I only managed to put in a handful of this sand into my spatial rune equipment. One spatial rune equipment can only hold that much?"

"How much spatial rune equipment do we need then to empty this pit?"

"It irks me more now thinking about that bastard Kounsat."

Right now, none of the A-tier dared to touch the Glittering Gold Sand recklessly. They were busy studying how to bring the sand home.

This was when Tung Yang switched on the small device Qin Feng gave him before.

"Qin Feng, where are you now?" Tung Yang asked.

Qin Feng received the call and wondered, 'Has he found out?'

"I am at the east side of the mountain. What's wrong?"

"I suppose you are aware of the situation here at the center."

"Yea, I did see it. What happened over there?"

"There's some good stuff here. You should come join us. But leave your puppets behind. This place was barricaded by a dark ability user earlier, he had hindered others for two days. You may raise suspicion and hostility from others if you carry the puppets along." Tung Yang paused for a while, then continued, "However, worry not. I have another two A-tiers on my side too. I am confident that A-tiers from other regions won't harm you under our watch."

Chapter 697: The Sound of Song, the Sound of Crying

Qin Feng listened to what Tung Yang had to say and did not think it was odd. Instead he felt another kind of emotion, and he soon realized what this feeling was.

Tung Yang wanted to return the favor to Qin Feng for saving him.

On the surface, Qin Feng's strength might only seem B-tier and it was unwise to bring him into the thick of things as someone of that perceived strength would have just been cannon fodder.

However, with Tung Yang here nobody dared to try anything!

This was the overwhelming suppressive force of an A-tier!

Qin Feng's thoughts flashed through his mind before replying, "That's fine, I'll use my dark runes and get over there soon!"

"Alright! I'll be waiting!" Tung Yang said.

The two ended the call and Qin Feng took Bai Li with him as they went toward the central area.

He slowed himself down and after twenty minutes they arrived at a giant pit. This time, hundreds of people were gathered here. In addition to some A-tiers, there were powerful B-tiers in the area as well, some of them were here to shadow the A-tiers.

When Qin Feng and Bai Li appeared, they soon saw Tung Yang and headed over.

"Regent Tung!"

Tung Yang beamed a kind smile and looked at Bai Li curiously. "Who is this?"

"She is Bai Li, my girlfriend. She rushed over here earlier!" Due to Bai Li not showing up in the previous battle Tung Yang did not know about Bai Li's existence so he was a little confused.

However, there were two people nearby that were both taken aback.

"Qin Feng!"

"It's you!"

These two people were Nan Gongshi and Ge Lang!

"Lord Nan Gong and General Ge!" Qin Feng greeted them but he did not receive them warmly and was only being polite.

Nan Gongshi said with surprise, "Qin Feng, you… you've reached B-tier?"

"Fortunately I've got the chance to visit the Abyssal Ocean and managed to rank up!" Qin Feng replied.

"Haha, and what a great opportunity that was. This kid managed to kill a highly ranked A-tier beast emperor in the Abyssal Ocean!"

"What? Which beast emperor was it?"

"The Glutton Leviathan, it's dead now but… even after its death it was transformed into a deep-sea vessel! Qin Feng has a bright future and his organization is quite impressive!" Tung Yang had originally wanted to mention the incident with the undead puppet but he decided to keep this matter a secret and quickly changed the subject by expressing his appreciation.

While the people from the other alliances were not sure what Tung Yang was on about, it was clear to them that he was proud of Qin Feng. Perhaps he was optimistic about his subordinate and if so then the other A-tiers naturally would not embarrass Qin Feng.

On the contrary, Ge Lang's heart was beating uncontrollably fast at this time.

"How can this be? This kid's getting strong so quickly? It hasn't even been half a year since the Prodigy Tournament until now!"

This was something completely unbelievable.

Moreover, Qin Feng had slighted Ge Lang before and with how fast he was developing it was inevitable that Ge Lang was going to fall into a crisis.

'Last time he challenged me and helped that wench Shang Han. Now that he's stronger, would he try to show off in front of me?'

A sinister light glinted in Ge Lang's eyes as if he was trying to think of ways to get rid of the supreme prodigy that was Qin Feng.

However someone soon interrupted Ge Lang's thoughts!

That was because people recognized what the Glittering Gold Sand bore. After all, everyone present was well informed and everyone knew that for many things they had to rely on each other. While spatial rune equipment might not be able to carry such things then what else would be able to?

These crystals quickly attracted many's attention. It was peculiar that such a thing could carry the heavy sand without being burdened. Besides that, the crystals had a malleable shape. What people could do was wrap the crystal's shape into a bowl before putting the sand in, closing up said crystal and completely concealing the sand's aura.

They even took out their spatial rune equipment for testing and realized that even though the amount of sand they collected had exceeded the usual limit, there seemed to be nothing wrong.

At this time, they had found a surefire way to carry it!

Furthermore, the people present were powerful individuals. With the level of their consciousness they had they quickly figured it out.

"So, it's like this!" Tung Yang said when he saw this scene and secretly chided himself for not having thought of that earlier.

"What strange contradictions that coexist with one another! It seems that the saying 'Using softness to overcome strength' can be quite literal!" Nan Gongshi said.

"Stop talking nonsense, lets collect this quickly!" Ge Lang said.

"Oh, right, Qin Feng you should have this as well," Tung Yang said, "Take this as a reward for defending the East Sea City!"

Tung Yang winked mischievously, this old man was a sly one.

He was not thanking Qin Feng for slaying the Glutton Leviathan, he was thanking Qin Feng for scaring off Obol.

"Okay, thank you Regent!" Qin Feng said.

After that Qin Feng asked Bai Li to shape the crystals into a bottle, but this time the bottle was only about the size of a perfume vial!

This greatly saved up on materials and Qin Feng was not stingy. He distributed some to Nan Gongshi and Ge Lang which seemed to improve Ge Lang's mood a little.

'That's it. Qin Feng must have been using Shang Han as a stepping stone and he's actually showing me some respect. Perhaps I've misjudged this junior!'

It was just that Ge Lang had not said anything, there was a feeling deep within him that did not want to offend Qin Feng.

That was because Ge Lang understood that Qin Feng was a powerful prodigy, someone that might as well be the emperor-level among the human race. In this case, the current B-tier that he was could challenge much greater things.

Ge Lang was in no position to challenge Qin Feng. He would not have been strong enough!

As such, he made the excuse that Qin Feng was not intentionally trying to offend him and let his grudge go.

Then, several people came over to the central area to frantically dig up the sand. Although the energy here was the richest, nobody knew why no ultra beasts had approached the area and everyone was at peace.

Qin Feng had a feeling that these kinds of treasures might cause genetic shifts that were too much for such beasts to handle!

If that were the case then if ultra beasts did not approach it meant that these things could bring with them good fortune and ward off danger!

However, this calm only lasted for a few hours. It was not because the sand had been fully collected, but that they were heavy and difficult to collect, so it would take them a long time!

Only a few hours had passed and they had barely scratched the surface.

At this moment, Bai Li's ears perked up and listened for a moment before saying, "You guys hear that?"

Qin Feng was confused. "Hear what?"

"Huh, it sounds like singing, but it also sounds like crying!"

When that was said, Qin Feng did not react yet but Tung Yang stood up so fast that the air around him made a swishing sound. His expression was strangely serious!

Chapter 698: History has been Changed

"Not good!" Color drained from Tung Yang's face!

"What is it?"

"What's wrong?"

Nan Gongshi and Ge Lang both asked at the same time.

Tung Yang was shrouded by a gloomy expression as he said, "It's the Siren Cherub!"

This name had a terrible legend in the Abyssal Ocean, not to mention it was a bad omen.

It was not as horrifying as the Glutton Leviathan but all of the deep-sea vessels that encountered it were sunk. Hearing its name being said made several people turn pale.

At this time, two kilometers from the Divine Mountain, a baby could be seen floating on the ocean's surface.

It had delicate snow white skin, sea-blue eyes and long golden hair. Anyone who saw this baby would undoubtedly agree that it was an adorable little girl. Besides that, this baby's lower body was covered in golden scales and had a fish-like tail! It was essentially a mermaid!

However, compared to her seemingly soft body, her hands had sharp emerald claws that were so sharp that they looked like they could slice through rocks!

Besides that, this adorable baby was actually a giant!

The baby was ten meters long from head to tail-end and her baby-like head was about three meters wide. What a terribly scary creature!

"La la la la~"

She sang beautifully, lulling the sea beasts around her to close their eyes and fall into a deep slumber!

That was not so bad. What was bad about this slumber was that it could last about half a month to a year, maybe even forever. During this time the sea beasts would either starve or get eaten by other sea beasts.

After swimming for a while, the Siren Cherub seemed like she had seen something and her expression changed to that of an unhappy one. Maybe she just saw a very ugly fish.

"Waaaaa!"

The Siren Cherub opened up her mouth and started crying. The sea beasts up to a kilometer away opened their now bloodshot eyes and immediately started attacking each other.

This was the Siren Cherub's special move!

An A5-tier beast emperor that had a horrifyingly vast consciousness and a dangerous charming ability!

The charming ability was not so dangerous when it was at low levels, but when it had reached the level that the Siren Cherub had, whoever had such power could control beasts up to a thousand meters away with their voice.

When she sang, she lulled people into an endless sleep. When she cried, everyone fell into madness!

When encountering this ultra beast, those aptitude users often fought each other to the death!

It was a dangerous beast no doubt!

Not even A-tier aptitude users could resist the Siren Cherub's call for long!

When Qin Feng heard the words, his expression fell.

History has changed!

Qin Feng had not heard about the Siren Cherub appearing in this part of the ocean before but when he thought about it, it was only natural.

That was because the Glutton Leviathan was dead!

Once the Glutton Leviathan had died this area was no longer owned by anyone. It was normal for other powerful sea beasts to try and expand their territory.

"What do we do now?" Ge Lang looked at Nan Gongshi and Tung Yang. The other two looked around them and saw that there was still so a huge amount of sand remaining, they were unwilling to leave.

"With the amount of A-tiers present, maybe we can deal with the Siren Cherub!" Nan Gongshi said.

"I'm afraid that in this scenario if the A-tiers can't resist it we'd have more enemies to fight when we try to kill each other!" Qin Feng said coldly.

He had already made preparations if he were to run into the Siren Cherub. If it were to appear he would immediately crush his spatial waymark and return back to Fengli City.

"You better prepare for evacuation!" Qin Feng warned.

It was at this moment that the entire Divine Mountain shuddered.

Boom!

The Divine Mountain had emerged from the bottom of the sea. Its surface had been at the mercy of ultra beasts and spirit herbs burrowing into it and while it looked to be solid its internal structure was actually very weak.

As such, this violent seismic shake caused landslides in many places.

However, people did not pay attention to this seismic activity. That was because they could feel a terrible force.

Qin Feng poured energy into his feet to stabilize himself and rushed to the edge of the huge pit.

He quickly stepped onto a large tree and looked into the distance, noticing a small island approaching.

"The Devil Mountain!"

Qin Feng's heart skipped a beat.

The Devil Mountain was not like the stingrays that Qin Feng saw, or better known as devil fish as a collective term for those kinds of ultra beasts. The Devil Mountain was one of a kind and in truth nobody knew what kind of monster it was.

It was a title that only belonged to the ultra beast in front of him!

An A4 tier beast emperor that was a step away from becoming a beast deity. One of the top ten terrifying monsters in the Abyssal Ocean.

The Devil Mountain was twice the size of the Glutton Leviathan, which was evidence enough for how scary this thing was.

Its body was draped in a collection of black stones, giving it the appearance to that of a mountain!

And it had already beached itself on the Divine Mountain's shore.

These A-tiers did not hear the Siren Cherub's singing, nor had they heard about the legends of the monsters that lived in the Abyssal Ocean.

However, all it took was a quick whiff of the Devil Mountain's aura for them to realize just how terrifying this beast was.

On the shore, countless B-tiers screamed in terror as they tried to escape. They did not expect that when the Devil Mountain was moving it would splash up sand from its body to cover these B-tiers. In an instant, when they were buried by the sand they turned into stone and became motionless. The Devil Mountain went over and subsumed these B-tiers into its body, turning these B-tiers into its nourishment.

However, this was far from over.

An extremely loud roar came and when Qin Feng turned to look on the other side of the mountain he saw a terrible flesh-colored beast float up to the surface nearby.

The beast had orange spots on it that functioned as its eyes underwater and it had five-meter thick tentacles that numbered more than a hundred!

Its body was relatively small, with only a diameter of a hundred meters which made it roughly the size of a children's playground, but its tentacles could extend up to a thousand kilometers.

"The Hundred-Armed Glob!"

Qin Feng naturally recognized what was happening!

The three beasts of the Abyssal Ocean had unexpectedly arrived at this point.

"Lalalala!" The Siren Cherub's voice gradually got closer, its transparent waves of mind-bending energy twisting into people's minds.

"Brwweh!" The Hundred-Armed Glob did not seem to back down and twisted its hundred arms together as a blue light burst into the air.

Boom!

The Devil Mountain also rushed over, its body scattering its dark sand and spreading it out into the air.

For a moment, transparent waves, blue light and dark sand collided together.

These three forces clashed and there seemed to be no immediate victor.

They were fighting each other, competing.

It was just that under this kind of overwhelming force, the aptitude users on the Divine Mountain were faced with a massive amount of pressure!

"Oh no! Righteous Barrier!"

"Aura Domain!"

Everyone's faces paled as they quickly activated their aura domains.

"World Aflame!" Qin Feng released his own ability of course but this time the range was very small, only about five meters wide just to counter this incoming power.

He quickly took out his spatial waymark and his consciousness surged into it.

It was a shame that the moment the spatial waymark was broken, no spatial passage appeared.

It was blocked!

The pressure outside was just too much!

Translator's note: These few ocean chapters have only drawn out my darkest nightmares. The deep ocean scares me.

Chapter 699: The Clash of The Emperors

However, all of this also meant that the other aptitude users had no means of escaping as well!

"Everyone group up! Otherwise we're going to get killed by these things! Maintain combat effectiveness and only take action when necessary!"

"Alright, we'll team up!"

"Okay, I agree!"

"Agreed!"

The A-tier aptitude users quickly relayed their thoughts to one another with their consciousness. They knew that this was not a time for them to fight one another. If they wanted to survive they had to team up!

Now, the B-tiers had their backbone.

An A-tier and ten B-tiers could take down a B-tier beast emperor.

However, an A-tier could not possibly take on an A-tier ultra beast, let alone an A-tier beast emperor!

But among the people present, many of them were powerful individuals. They had reached a level where they might pose a mild threat if they worked together. If hundreds of them worked together, they might be able to hang on.

They did not need to fight the monsters, all they had to do was to escape this place and that would be enough!

Qin Feng dropped down from his perch on the tree and returned to Tung Yang's side. This time everyone had abandoned their previous doubts and were standing together!

Hundreds of people did not take up much space and one of the ability users activated a barrier using water runes.

Then other ability users poured their consciousness into the barrier to strengthen it.

"Open!"

An A-tier ancient warrior unleashed his internal force and with him as the center many people melded into this internal force and used their own to spread its protection.

With two layers of defense, the B-tiers were less tense but the atmosphere was still nerve-wracking. They still could not open a spatial passage and had to get far away from this place.

Those who were not in the central area were the least fortunate. Especially the ones near the coast, all of the B-tiers on the coastline were dead or dying.

All of a sudden, a loud screech was heard.

"Kraaaaw!"

A seagull flew out from the Divine Mountain, this seabird had dark-blue feathers and each father seemed to be as sharp as a knife. As it spread its wings, it did not seem very big but it was a powerful beast nonetheless!

An A7-tier beast emperor!

"Kraaaw!"

With another loud screech the seagull suddenly grew from only being the size of ten meters to three hundred meters!

All of a sudden the sky was filled with only the sight of dark-blue feathers!

Size-changing was a skill that could be learned when an ultra beast was a beast king.

However, this skill was only used on special occasions. The Glutton Leviathan was able to use such a skill, but it naturally preferred to be at its maximum size and dominate everything within its territory as the king of the sea.

The same went for the Devil Mountain and the Hundred-Armed Glob.

The Siren Cherub was only ten meters in size as it lived on small islands. That was enough for it to deal with the land-based ultra beasts!

The Dark Blue Seagull decided to make its home on the Divine Mountain. Since there was not much space for it to land it shrunk itself down. However once the battle erupted and it was disturbed by it, it naturally expanded into its maximum size!

It circled around and soared toward the Siren Cherub.

With how big its body was, the Siren Cherub was comparable to that of a small bug. Easily destroyed with a single peck.

At this time the Siren Cherub also changed her body and took on the form of a one-hundred-meter tall giant.

"Lalalala!"

A deafening voice burst out to attack the Dark Blue Seagull.

The Dark Blue Seagull's body shuddered but it quickly woke up and continued its dive.

The Siren Cherub stretched out her claws and grabbed the wings of the Seagull as it descended. The force of the grasp sent feathers that were two meters long flying through the air as blood flowed like a waterfall from the Seagull's wounds.

The Siren Cherub was more than capable of using things other than its consciousness to kill something and was not to be underestimated.

Of course, the Seagull that was infused with the energy from the Divine Mountain was not something to be scoffed at. It immediately brought its sharp beak down onto the Siren Cherub's scalp and tore off pieces of her long hair, sending blood splattering.

"Waaaah!" The Siren Cherub began to bawl.

Blood began to fill the eyes of the Seagull as it bashed its beak onto its target over and over again, unable to control itself as the two battled for their lives.

The Siren Cherub's skin might seem to be delicate and soft but it was something that could not be easily damaged.

Meanwhile, from the forest came a loud roar as a huge Tyrannosaurus-like Tyrant Drake burst out to attack the Devil Mountain!

Boom!

Boom boom boom!

The battle between the two caused the mountain to shake and the earth cracked

Ka-rack!

A crack ripped through the base of the Divine Mountain.

The crack started to get bigger and bigger.

"Levitation!"

An A-tier aptitude user activated wind runes to make everyone around her float upward.

At this time, the entire mountain shook violently. Ultra beasts began to flee and aptitude users rushed toward the central area to seek shelter.

However, the shelter they sought was about to become a nightmare.

The Hundred-Armed Glob had made it to shore.

Fortunately, as it was halfway through, a green burst of light surrounded it and people realized that the green light that blocked it came from a massive mutant plant.

Since the plant had not reacted until now, it attacked neither humans nor beasts, the aptitude users had no idea that such a powerful creature existed in the Divine Mountain. People even thought that it was safe enough to have rested on what belonged to this plant's body.

Now, it was too late to be scared.

The mutant plant unleashed countless vines as it clashed against the Hundred-Armed Glob.

The aptitude users suddenly felt rather uplifted as they watched these titans clash.

"It's better if they just keep fighting one another, we can take advantage of this situation!"

"Yeah! Keep fighting!"

"Should we try to leave now? We must take advantage of this!"

"No, this is an opportunity. A great opportunity!"

The crowd suddenly split into two factions. Some wanted to leave while some wanted to stay.

However, time waited for no man.

After ten minutes, an ultra beast was defeated.

The Dark Blue Seagull was not the Siren Cherub's match and was eventually killed by her. She managed to grab onto its head with her large mouth and tore its head off using her sharp teeth before chewing it and gulping down. It was then she set her blood visage in the direction of the Divine Mountain!

Whoosh!

A wave up to twenty meters tall appeared and brought the Siren Cherub forward. She had no legs, only a fish-like tail. If it was going to fight then naturally it would prefer to stay in the water.

The terrifying tsunami flooded half of the Divine Mountain.

As soil was washed away, it merged with the seawater and turned the surroundings into a muddy brown.

Meanwhile, the battle of the other two beast emperors was over as well!

The mutant plant was no match against the Hundred-Armed Glob and was torn to shreds. The Devil Mountain violently slammed forward and sent the Tyrant Drake flying through the air.

"Look out!"

"Scatter!"

"Incoming!"

The Tyrant Drake was sent flying toward where the aptitude users were.

At that moment, all they could do was spread out so they would not get crushed.

Boom!

The Tyrant Drake fell into the pit of Glittering Gold Sand.

Its aura was gone

"A chance!" Qin Feng's eyes lit up and he burst forth his most powerful ability without a second thought.

"Ability, absorb!"
